Hi wattle99. Today we found your cache .VK7HCH and I hatched a plan to continue our plundering of caches both GC and GCA in the northwest region. We have been busy solving puzzles so we can find those and others. Day 3 has us at Penguin and heading home from Ulverstone and in between. Thanks for hiding the cache for us to find today. Finding this cache takes my GC finds to 5113 and I found it on Sunday 18 Aug 2024FTF: NoMates: VK7HCHMuggles: My EPE: Condition: GoodWeather: slightly cloudyMy favorites:Creative - Back to the future 1 by peaches (GCA5JYD)Hardest - Men in Black Holes by SG-3 (Archived)Most visited - Dragons Lair by Shagzter (GC2E33)
Thanks wattle99 for placing Mural Town (Light Horse). Swampy and I came back to plunder more of the NW coast over a long weekend. This is day 3, we are heading back along the coast to Launceston today. This run has us finding both GC and GCA caches. So many caches, so little time. This is my GC find #1919 and was found on 18/8/2024 at 11:21
Thanks for the Cache wattle99.Camp at last night at the RV camp, where were the only ones there. It was nice this morning to go for a wander through town, normally we're just passing through.Regards from Victourer
I was able to find five more Tasmanian caches at stops on our group's bus ride between Cradle mountain and Launceston.
Interesting point for me here regarding the light horse brigade. My Dad from Wynyard Tassy, enlisted for the 2nd WW in 1938 as a light horse personnel. However, there was no light horse brigade serving in that war. He still went & served the full war period as army then airforce. Dad, Robert James Tyrrell died last May. 19/3/1919 to 18/5/2023. Yep, 104 years old. He recons the war was a lot easier to endure than my Mum. TFTC
In Tassie for the next few months. So many great places to visit and so many different caches to find.Just grabbing a few around the area on some country roads. An easy enough find at GZ. Another nice mural in this fantastic little town. Thanks wattle99 for placing the cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can find this cache.
Found during a drizzly and overcast morning walk after my first night in Tasmania.Loving all the great murals in this town.TFTC and greetings from Melbourne
Enjoyed seeing all the murals not a fan of these plastic minty containers. TFTC
Located with Ricardinho RNZ was making quick work of the finds today, no problems locating this one either. A very cool path with mosaics in it went through the park close by Day 11 of our Tassie/Sydney trip, and today iwe were travelling from Moina to Launceston.A very enjoyable trip stopping at a few cool country Tassie towns, the impressive murals at Sheffield was first up, followed by the topiaries at Railton and finally the sculptures at Deloraine. An awesome day all round TFTC
Another quick find here. No issues, TFTC wattle99.Day 11 of our Tassie trip, and today it was Moana to Launceston. We had a pretty good day stopping in at a few rural towns and enjoying the sites. We visited the impressive murals at Sheffield, the topiaries at Railton and the sculptures at Deloraine. All were great stops in their own way, and the planned rain mostly held off. Most of our finds today were adventure lab stages. We got about 22 of those. But we attempted 3 bonus caches and could not find any, and were muggled at a few other spots on other caches.Still had a good day Thanks all COs.
Super fast find, LittleBoo17 had this one found before I arrived at the mural TFTCFound with LittleBoo17
This was another fairly quick find today whilst waiting on the geomindy to get serviced. Signed as IRT.

“Was I here to look at the chairs?” the lady greeted me! All I need is a muggle hanging round. Luckily the perspective buyer turned up, they entered the building and we did our stuff. With only th muggle’s dog eyes on us. Thanks for another lovely hide
Jetstar was having a sale…. in the middle of winter, for a destination further south than I already live. That sounds like a great idea!
So a plan for a 4 night whirlwind tour of the northern part of the state was hatched. I’ve seen lots of this beautiful state, but haven’t found a single cache. With plenty of challenges to tick off, and a long list of targeted caches, this week is the time to turn that around.
Todays adventure started with a sunrise walk around The Nut in Stanley before a road trip to Launceston via some country stops.
Managed to get in and around to find this one.
Thanks wattle99 for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

Day 2 of our tour round Tasmania Today we drove from Devonport to Ulverstone via Sheffield
I found the cache easily enough, but didn't have any tweezers. Eventually I gave up trying to extract the log and added a log of my own, duly signed.
The cache was in good condition. We signed the log and replaced the container as found
Thanks wattle99 for the cache.
