Logs
As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Should have read the logs before looking for this one. Found the spot where it would have nicely fitted. Hope its returned before I come back next month.
Couldn't find looked in all the obvious and not so obvious spots.
No luck.
Many DNF in a row now.
No luck.

Thought I'd do at least one cache while I'm staying in Perth, unfortunately this can only be a DNF
Nice view up here though.

The gps pointed between 3 trees of the hinted type, but after lots of poking I gave up. The obvious spot, a large gap right next to the tree label was empty as far as I could fumble...
No muggles around this morning. Spent some time poking around where the hint suggested but couldn't find aything.
We visited GZ on a beautiful sunny Sunday morning, unfortunately for us so did just about every Muggle in Perth. While one of us tried to block the vision of nearby muggles the other searched in accordance with the hint, but no find for us this time.
Even though there were muggles galore around gz, with a little bit of decoy play between iluvtrekking an myself, we were able to do a good search as per the hint but could not locate the cache.
I just replaced this cache and someone has obviously found it so either the last three people didn't loo hard enough or its been muggled since. I'm going to check within the next week but by all means if you can find it before then good on you.
Couldn't find it! Searched for awhile. Can we get hints on what it looks like?
Went there today, found the location quickly, but it was crowded with Muggles . Pretended to have lost an earring and looked in every nook and cranny of the base of the tree. No luck. We had to give up eventually as we had two Muggles sitting down right next to us. Went to get an ice cream, but Muggles were still there when we got back, so we left it for another day. TFTC anyway, it' s in such a beautiful spot!
This cache is now back in action after regrettably too long. sorry for the wait. It is now hidden in a, hopefully, muggle invisible spot that was a bit better than the last. the clue and coordinates are still all the same.
good luck
good luck
It will be replaced within the next week or so. I've been away on holidays quite a bit and haven't had mucht time sorry.
Should have looked at the recent logs

No cache today but what a place of Rememberance. This place will stick in my mind forever. True credit to the people of Perth for this area. Yes, Lest We Forget.
We think we found the correct place but could not find any cache. We still enjoyed the view of the city of Perth. Such a pretty view in the late afternoon
Maybe could I suggest you go have a look at this Dougalh? I am not saying it is muggled but It certainly deserves a look. Two of us could not find it in waning light last night. It hasn't been found since June, and with all the rain and mowing that has happened up there it is possible it has been eliminated with extreme prejudice.
As a hider I couldn't agree with you more dougalh.....I too am tired of people placing maintenance logs just because they've failed to find cache....
@Bizzy Bees
In the nicest possible way could I suggest you look harder?
Waning light isn't the best time to look for something and could be more of a reason you couldn't find it so why don't you go there in broad daylight.
If you read other peoples logs such as DISK's log
"This was our first, but unfortunately, we weren't successful, even with 5 sets of eyes !"
He couldn't find it with five people so the fact you two people couldn't find it doesn't mean anything.
It has only rained once in the past maybe week or so.
What does eliminated with extreme prejudice even mean? prejudice against? eliminated by whom? extremities?
This cache was found three days ago it wasn't even placed in June I put it there in August.
No offense but every single one of your points is well.. pointless I'm sorry to say. Maybe have another look a bit harder, read the dates of logs, check the weather and don't cache in minimal light before you say my cache needs maintenance.

Third attempt - finally got to sign the log
I understand now why I didn't find it the last twice. The cache was partially buried. It's only after finding it that I understood what the hints in the previous logs meant about it falling out of it's hiding place and having to push it back in firmly.
Shame a nano is here in a location that could easily hide a much larger box.
TFTC!

Found with HooloovooUK. We failed to find it the day before. After receiving a hint, we were able to locate the cache.
Sorry for the delay in logging. I see the logs now say the cache is missing and we were the last to find it. Oh my. I hate it when that happens. I don't really understand. The cache is almost impossible to find without a hint. I don't see how it could possibly be muggled.

Second attempt today, this time with a second set of cacher eyes. Neither of us could find it and we must have searched every possible nook and cranny at GZ.
Can anyone on the watch list offer a hint? We might just have time for another go before our flight at 11am tomorrow ...

Mickeydv and I deserved this find cause we trekked up Mount St to get to it. Previous search a few weeks ago was unsuccessful and even this time we required a "phone a friend" lifeline. This is a very sneaky hide. Thanks for the cache dougalh.
Had convinced myself that this one had been muggled...came back today armed with a younger set of eyes...after searching for a while, I resorted to phone a friend and while I was receiving directions KB tracked it down....tricky hide...I can now see why you were sure it was not muggled...thanks dougalh
I can confirm the cache is still there, safe and sound, as I found it this morning. Woohoo!
I was in two minds whether to attempt the cache or not due to the previous DNF's but decided to have a go anyway. I saw something suspicious at GZ and when I investigated further it revealed the cache. TFTC in a great location.

Looked and looked but just didn't find it. Crawling around on my hands and knees in the middle of the Spring Wild Flower Festival with muggles everywhere, I gave up. I did have a lady ask what I was doing and when I left she was still searching!
After arriving in Australia yesterday, today time to get used to the easy living.
This morning i was here to watch birds in the park/garden and no time to split off from the group. In the afternoon some free time and for me its time to find some stash
My first "not found" in Australia )
I knew this one was proberly gone so quick look and further on.

Hasnt been found by four people in a row so i will check ASAP which unfortunately isnt until next week because of optometrists and going to look for some more caches along the bibbulman track. you might want to wait before searching for this but by all mens maybe the last four people didnt look hard enough
Searched for about 10min, looked at the hint, searched some more. There's only so long you can sit at a tree without looking like a nutter so I moved on to Observe down the road. Will try again another day.
Spent ages on this one, but couldn't find it. I found two likely candidates at ground zero suggested by the clue, and searched everywhere between muggles. No luck
Into Perth, being shown around by our good friends who moved here several years ago and showing geocaching to them.
This was our first, but unfortunately, we weren't successful, even with 5 sets of eyes !
This is a great park and it's an interesting place to visit and cache [^].
Thanks Dougalh.

Second person to collect this one today according to the log, but it had fallen to the ground by the time I arrived so it was an easy find. Have tucked it back into what I think is its home, hope it stays there...
TFTC.
TFTC.
Was enjoying the walk around the gardens and then came over to find the cache and found it without problems.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
This wasn't a quick find for us. We looked and looked but could not see what we were looking for. We were quite wary of poking too much. In the end we phoned a friend who was able to give us an exact location to "feel" and very shortly after we were able to sign the log. Neat little insert cylinders you have BTW.
It has been a while since we were last in King's Park and that is a shame because it is such a wonderful place so thanks for getting us back here

Just managed to squeeze this one in before going to work.
Always a pleasure coming up to Kings Park, especially now as it
seems a number of caches are being permitted in this park.
Whats the rules covering placements here I ask???
Someone must know the right people ???
Cheers for cache... be assured i replaced it VERY securely !!

I came back for this one this morning after everyone else said how easy it was. Well, I did find the cache easily today, but only because it was lying on the ground.
I'm sure I searched that area the other day!
After signing the log I tried to find a hole for the cache to fit into, and pressed it in as best as I could, so I hope that it was the right spot, and that it stays put.
Thanks for the cache in a lovely location dougalh! It's great to see the BGPA allowing some caches back into Kings Park!

We enjoyed having a really good excuse to again visit this lovely spot. Easy find well suited for younger Geocachers. TFTC

Sneaky! I was on my knees for a while with my hand inside the tree trying not to look suspicious until i worked it out Good spot. TFTC
Found second time round. I should have paid more attention and I would have had it last time. SL TFTC Sno Slug trackable visited to mark my feble first effort.
I stopped in here on the way to work this morning on my bike. Due to all the constructions around it was a bit hard to access by bike, and I had to tackle a set of stairs on the way, but soon arrived at GZ.
I gave the object at GZ a good going over. At first I thought I was looking for a small or regular, and searched the large hole in the base of the tree, which would have a lot of good nooks & crannies in it, but after reviewing the listing again and seeing it was a micro I checked the rest of the spots as indicated by the hint, but didn't find anything.

Dropped by on the way home. Searched the area really closely but also found nothing.
Woo Hoo! FTF at 0845. Mrs Felix finished nightshift and raced home to collect Mr Felix. Then into the city to start our days caching run. What a glorious day to be in Kings Park. The updated hint helped lots. Not sure we would have found it in the dark. We were careful to replace it as directed. TFTC dougalh

We came but we did not see.
There was a funny posting on this log that has now gone about the cache being missing and was due to be replaced dated yesterday( not sure about that one).
Any way we didn't find it after having a good look at about 10pm (mind you though we got to go out, which meant getting a few more beers).
I hope that seeing as this cache was placed with permission that this is not going to effect caching in kings park.
