Travelling with richlink as part of our Annual Caravan Geocaching Trip.We are on the move, Keith to Narracoorte. using geocaching as our guide. Love the roads less travelled. No Nessie here, just mud and a cache of course. TFTC.

Found on our way home to Vic from Robe. Great find, Farmer trackable visited here also. Tftc.
Worries we were going to get bogged. Road not as bad as first thought. TYFTC!
A slight detour down an overgrown country track to pick this one up.

On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird. I’ll leave the more interesting detailed log to Mrs Geo (aka: SeasonedBird, Salty Chook, the Old Boiler, Old Chook, Dirty Bird or Angry Bird) because she writes so much more eloquently than I and usually has much more time to do so while I’m driving. It’s a great day for caching. TFTC -Beaker-

The water levels were low enough today for Nessie to almost be left high and dry. TFTC
Having spent most of the day down at the Naracoorte caves, I decided to spend the rest of the daylight hours finding a few more caches in and around the town. Having found most of the caches in the town centre, I decided to pick up a few caches on the outskirts of the town before finding the last few. I made the short and present drive to this cache and, once arriving at gz, the find was made nice and quickly. The log was signed, and I was on my way.

Found while out and about exploring the Naracoorte region. We think that Nessie may look better when surrounded by a bit more water. We have been learning a lot about the local limestone over the last few days and have found some shell fossils on the track leading up to the cache.
Thank you Beaker for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Beaker for the cache.
Found quickly.... hope Nessie doesn't stay that bogged for long...lol... Hevwalker and I were in town waiting to go to the local event so thought we would pop out and get a few caches. Cache and book in good condition. TFTC Beaker

Quick find here cache is all good
Today I started out at cockatoo lake after camping there for the evening before making my way to Mt gambier today cleaning up as many caches as I could along the way. A solid day with the weather in mint condition which is unusual for the south east. 85 finds for the day and 5 labs.
Thanks for the cache

Missed a date in the South East earlier this year due to the dreaded plague.
Took a drive that way this weekend with Sebastbat to make up for it a little.
Pulled up in the dark aimed out high beam across the waters.
A blood curdling scream and splash of water alerted us to the possible myth living here.
Couldn't see much more than the wink of her eye disappearing into the night...
We found your cache -Beaker- thanks for putting it out here!
Stay safe, sanitise, exercise, cache the regions ! ! !
Come visit the Barossa with your cache hides anytime [:o)]
Today I was on my way back to Adelaide from the south-east cave diving around the Mount Gambier / Millicent area. I did a morning deep dive, and then my dive buddy and I went into town to have an enjoyable lunch, before then driving back and geocaching along the way.
I noted that this cache had been disabled, so I was going to call past this location to perform maintenance on behalf of the CO. However, as it turns out, someone else (@mogni and sir_spectre) had beaten me to it. The plastic bag looks to have been replaced, and all looks as good as new now, so certainly this cache can be re-enabled. Thanks [@-Beaker-](http://coord.info/PRN1VJ) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. I did catch a glimpse of Nessie, but that appeared to be reasonably easy in the dry lake next door.

Nessie has been rebirthed. New cache container. New logbook. Nessie just now needs some water in the dam. She is looking a little sad been land bound in the dried mud.
Back down to Mount Gambier with Mogni. She wanted to do mainteneance on some of her caches. Day 3 saw us slowly returning back to adelaide. After taking the coastal road down we took the inland road back. I think i finally have a almost ( less than 5 caches ) clear road from mount gambier to adelaide now. Any containers that needed maintenance were fixed and any log books that needed replacing or that where almost full where replaced with the mega coming. Also any small container had extra scroll placed in it for the coming mega in 4 weeks.

That time between Christmas and New Year when you don’t know what day it is and it doesn’t really matter as you don’t actually need to know....
We found this cache on our way to, from or while staying in Robe.
An absolutely beautiful part of the world!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all the CO’s who have supplied us with a cache to find, we appreciate the effort you have gone to.
Sorry for the generic log but time has taught us we rarely find the time to come back and write more detailed logs. Sorry!

This geocacher reported that there is a problem with this cache. The log book is very wet and needs replacing.
Nessie had been decapitated. It is a sad day. But thanks for placing the cache for us to find.

Off on a road trip to the Silo Art tour Vic, Mildura, Goolwa SA, Port Victoria SA and then home via Murray Bridge, Naracoorte, and the Grampians, picking up some caches along the way as we see the sights. After staying in Naracoorte and looking around the area, before heading off this morning we went to see if we could see Nessie. It was Mr Pooky who made the trek through the long grass, to make the find. The log was very wet and we added a page to sign but cache needs a new log, TFTC and bringing us to this spot, unfortunately we didn't see Nessie today. TNLN
Travelling back from the west taking a more scenic way while heading down to Portland to visit dad before going home we were stopping at caches that popped up on the screen.
We didn't spot Nessie until after I was at gz and it looked very similar to a different nessie on the lake at Port Augusta, although this one was only just visible after all the recent rains it also looked like it could do with a bit of TL:C.
The cache on the other hand was a nice easy find with very limited hiding locations around and the log book inside now contains our name.
Thanks Beaker for the cache.

Suscoe had a big day out from Mt Gambier to Naracoorte and back again.
The day was cool to mild with plenty of cloud.
Just perfect for caching in pleasant conditions.
We appreciated the countryside as we went from pines to grazing country then to vines and grazing again.
Thanks to Beaker for this hide, all good out here this afternoon.

Hi there -Beaker-.
Oh the memories! We haven't been here for quite a few years As newbie cachers, we first visited Naracoorte way back in June 2005 when we attempted the Fourth Festive Frolic Weekend. We met lots of wonderful SA geocachers back then, many of which are still great friends to this day. Sadly our travels don't always permit us to meet up as often as we would like.
We enjoyed our outing today and found 8 caches (& DNF'd 3) in our cache run. Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places while we meander our way around Australia.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Smiley Badge
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Nessie is alive!! We always thought it was in Loch Ness but we have one too.
Our approach to GZ was nice and clean, could see if there were any snakeys today as it was freshly mown. Not sure why we hadnt done this one before, but its done now.
Thanks Beaker for the cache TNLNSL

I retrieved the cache (recently mown - thank you to the person who arranged that!) and decided to pop my head over the parapet. And what did I see! Nessie in all her glory! Quite delighted I ran back to teh car to inform the geobrats - only to find them asleep in the back seat. I wouldn't dare wake a geobrat, so this sighting remains mine and mine alone. TFTC
