We found what was left of the container.. It appears that it has been destroyed by somewhere or something.
Searched for the inner container but no cigar

Another classic- took us a good 5 or so minutes of kicking and digging around before the cache turned up. Love the hide- very clever. Thanks
Thanks, this was nicely blended into the surroundings, making it a great little find
Smilie #2071
Picking up a few smilies around Mt. Coot-Tha today.
Quickly found parking close to GZ.
A short search soon turned up the clever hide.
Seeing no muggles nearby gave me chance to inspect the cache outer holder.
Nicely done!
A great spot to place a cache.

After quite a long walk drut found it! Didn't see any totem poles- have they been moved?
There wasn't too much of a hunt for this one: we found the cache quickly as it was out in the open UPSIDE DOWN and exposed - quite obvious. Not the way the CO intended it to be, I believe - otherwise why go to the trouble of making such a fantastic camouflage? So after signing the log book and returning it to its "shell" we placed it back where it was but right way up so that it is not so obvious. Looks great, as it should!

Have the car in for a service and went for a walk into the botanical garden to find some local caches to kill some time.

In the area with my daughter today and thought I'd grab a couple of caches while I was here.
The GPS was bouncing around quite a bit so I gave up on it and started just scanning the area for anything that looked a bit 'different'. I had a couple of ideas as to what I might be looking for and one of them turned out to be right, although a lot different to what I expected.
The cache itself is in good condition but ants have built a thriving metropolis under, over and all around it. As soon as I picked it up they swarmed everywhere and I was forced to drop the cache on the ground several times, each time moving a little further away from GZ before I could remove the log and sign it.
Cache safely returned just the way it was and the ants straight away set to work putting their city to rights again.

Today the car had to go to the shop,so we dicidet to walk our way back home from toowong through the botanic gardens over mount coot-tha to Chappel hill and pick up some caches on the way.We started off with ANZAC as the first one and after a walk from 19 km we wher back home.
TFTC. Nice camo. Shame the totems are gone. Would have loved to see the. I hate terms.
Out today enjoying a full day of solo caching while the kids are otherwise occupied. Trying to rack up a few more numbers for an upcoming milestone, while also targeting caches to fill empty spots on our DT grid. Out the door at 0500 and powered on to find 38 caches, including 6 previously solved puzzles and 3 multis, picked up 3 new TB's and dropped off 2 old ones. Whew what an awesome adventure!! This one had me looking high and low after previous suggested this one tends to wander. After some time searching I finally placed my paw on something that felt different, and thankfully it was the container. TFTC
After enjoying the great view we decided to make our way down to do some exploring around the gardens. TFTC

We found this sneaky cache on our way back down the hill from the nearby Eclipsemas Tree. I had a quick scan of the area on the way up and had a feeling I knew what I was looking for. I actually nudged the cache with my foot while scanning the area, but because it wasn't the usual size or shape, I only used my foot and didn't examine it thoroughly, so I decided it wasn't what I was looking for.
On our return trip, I asked Geohubby for help with searching for the item I had in mind. He hasn't encountered the usual style of container though, so when he saw the cache, he decided that was it! I quickly told him that I'd already checked that one and it wasn't it, but he went ahead and picked it up, proving me totally wrong. Wasn't he proud of himself!
Thanks for the cache K8'n'Co and for going to the trouble of putting your own spin on a typical sneaky hide.

TFTC. Back for the third day - this time with enough time to drive around the ring road. What a great spot for cache - sadly no totem poles, but beautiful scenery and lovely covered lunch spots.
The cache was quickly located with the aid of the hint.
Nice hide and a favourite vote from me.
Thanks K8'n'Co for placing the cache.

Finally located the cache, replaced the log and returned it to its original position.
I've lived in Brisbane more years than I care admit, but I've never been to the botanical gardens before today.... thanks for bringing me here... took tb... original log is beyond damp... and the cache is about 7m from the co - ordinates... perhaps it rolled down here....
Took us a little while as it was further back than we had first been looking.
We did not collect the travel bug as we are new to this and did not know what to do.
Now we are home and I have done some more research my 11 year old is begging to go back to get it.
We will leave it there for the next visitor. Hope you have fun.

Son Ian & his girlfriend Casey were visiting me in Canada, so they kindly took some TB's to drop in Aussie caches. They used his Garmin410 wrist GPS.
Doing this one while showing around our family, visiting from Europe. With Buh.
The totems are definitively gone, but the cache is still there...Well hidden.

Watering totems everywhere! This park is lovely green oasis compared to the dry outskirts of Brisbane. Great native gardens, pathways and facilities. A must do for geotourists like us. Thanks for bringing us here. Fortunate enough to see these locals enjoying the sun at the nearby billabong. TFTC!
Cache #139
Needed to sneak a peak at a few of the previous logs to hone in on this one. I agree that the GPS GZ is a little bit off, but the cache is easy enough to spot once you figure out what you're looking for. Log could use replacing, as it's rather soggy, although the scrap of paper provided by a previous cacher wil do for now.

Misread the info on this at first and was confused when it told me I was in the GZ and couldn't see any totem poles nearby! I felt stuck between a rock and a hard place! But re-read and found it in a few seconds! TFTC!
We decided to go for a drive to Mount Coot-tha to check out the view and do a few caches in the area including a few in the Botanic Gardens.
We were particularly looking forward to this cache as we had both visited Expo and wanted to see the totem poles again. Unfortunately we couldn't see totem poles anywhere in the area. Fortunately we found the cache but on the opposite side of the road to where our GPS was indicating GZ was supposed to be. TNLN TFTC.

We enjoyed the walk to this cache after our lunch. Can't remember ever walking this path before.
Like others before us, the coords were off but the cache wasn't hard to spy. Log book was too soggy to sign as was the paper left by a previous finder. We left some log paper in new zip lock bag. Hopefully this'll keep it dry enough for others to sign.
Thanks for luring us to this part of the Gardens.

Awesome camouflage! This is our first find in the geo caching world. Excited for our further adventures
Gps had me on the wrong side of the street for me look over and spot the rock straight away.
Bit of searching for this as coords were off bit found eventually. Log book wet but signed anyway. Tftc
Our 3rd find of the day, and we only just started! Lovely place for it and great hiding place. Well done! Shame the totems are no longer to be seen and I wonder if the GC has been moved, as the coordinates indicate the other side of the road...
Great cache- it literally rocks. Great family day out. Left swappable, logbook soaked and out of room, cache maintained with extra paper and waterproof snap lock bag. TFTC.
Pity no totems to find but cache easy enough. Log book desperately needs replacing. Totally wet. TFT
Wrong side of road, as you are coming from main road from botanical gardens, look on the right side of road
On a visit from Bunbury, WA to see my son and his family. After a bit of shopping we went to the gardens, such a lovely place. This took longer than I thought it would as my GPS had me on the other side of the road. Log is very damp and should be replaced. Ants are also making a home in cache. TFTC
Found it- although walked around for ages looking for the totems before googling a picture and realizing that they have now been removed. Cache still in place- not effected by the removal. Lovely spot - tftc
Found with Bedmaker and the Herbz's after attending the nearby event.
While Mr Herbz and I were following the GPS to the pther side of the ride Bedmaker and Mrs Herbz went straight to it.

We arrived at GZ and saw something a bit odd which turned out to be the cache container.
Nice hide! And cool spot.

A climb up half the mountain to the Mega Planning Day event and found this one was only 60 metres away, it would be rude not to make the short walk.
Nice area and the totems are pretty awesome. TFTC.

This one was very close to the Mega planning event today so it had to be grabbed before we left. Nice container. TFTC.
spent about ten minutes at GZ looking for this with Waimak. broadened my search area and had the cache very quickly. TFTC
Right next to the Mega planning event today.
Wandered over with JimmyProject to find. We spent a few minutes on the wrong side but an easy find once we crossed the road.
Thanks K8'n'Co

Found this after the event and I walked straight up to it because it had been disturbed a fair bit today
Nice work with the container. The log is a bit damp but useable. Thanks K8'n'Co.

A great walk around the botanical gardens with two little geokids. Found this cache just in time for lunch overlooking the lake. Thank you
using my GPS i had no luck. Thought i would check the location according to my smart phone. Hey presto, there it was.
Doubled back for a recheck after looking a photos for hints but still couldn't find it! Is it still here?
TFTC. #153. Not the sort of camo container I was expecting. A good hide as it does not look out of place at all.

Nice and easy, we never knew it could be this kind of camouflage, how cool! Swapped some swag, tftc.
Foud after some hesitation on a visit of the Botanical gardens with Lars as the guide and driver. Tftc!
These gardens are really starting to come into their own - this back section barely existed not all that long ago.
It's amazing to think part of this section was begun in 1985 - seems like just yesterday.
Found the fun cache easily enough but never did find the totem poles. Maybe they've been relocated?
Thanks for the cache K8'n'Co.
