Yay! Managed to get to this one without encountering any bovines. That's a win in my book! Park very busy but experienced a nice lull in activity while searching for this one with my ropey GPS. Neat hide, all in excellent order. TFTC
Having spoken to a few local cachers who tell me this CO is no longer caching or doing any maintenance I came prepared to replace this cache. Messaged the CO a few weeks ago but got no reply. Searched without success at GZ then left a micro (pill container) at what seemed the original position.
Cool cache container and spot! Found with my Dad (MacTac) on the way down from a lovely evening walk. TFTC
Still penless but yay found it! Thanks again for entertaining the kids, big and small
Passing by today on the way down from the ridge for the second time today, to clock up some more Everest metres. Took a glance here and saw the container out in the open so replaced it in the "v". Dipped all the TBs.
Having previously visited here with no luck and some others too, the decision that it was missing was made and so with agreement of the CO, I dropped in a replacement to keep it alive.
Off for a walk showing husband the blenheim school trek track I did as a kid. The gps jumped a lot in the trees. Had a few sheep friends
Out for a New Years Day stroll on a track I last used about 30 years ago!
Quick find; thanks to the hint, I could tell exactly where to head to.

Found this on ground outside of container- all back tucked away as it should be. Tftc
Quick grab, quick sign, unfortunately it will need a quick repair - I managed to separate the last remaining wire.
Out (re) placing a nearby cache today and had just enough time to come up and grab this one too. A nice quick find and all in order. TFTC bumandworker
Our initial plan was to head to Golden Bay today but weather complications decided us against it so off to Blenheim once again.
Until last week we had never walked in this area despite long standing intentions to do so. This was the last find today before we headed back towards home.
Thank you bumandworker.

Our last cache at Wither Hills today. We're getting an idea about the lay of the land and will be back with a plan. Just some unfinished business in town to attend to, then off to North Bank to bump up the numbers a bit and try to be home before dark. Yeah right. Thank you bumandworker
On a Saturday expedition with Annacons and the kids to get some caches, this was our first stop of the day. Proudly found by Mr and Miss 5. Tftc.
Good day for a walk in the hills today. Plan was to get as high up as possible and stay there as long as possible to get those caches. Ended up being a 5 hour trek that makes Frodos trip to Mordor look like a stroll to the dairy. Ok, maybe not. But we got 13 for the day and some great views. Thanks for the caches to all owners and sorry for the cut and paste- but they were all pretty much where they should be so not much else to report
Today we had a nice walk in this area. The weather was warm and it was some kind of challenge to walk around though we don't have any hills at home.
Thank you. Merecca from Germany

Found this one as well with The-Shredder on our way back to the car. TFTC Skyryser
On the way back to our camper. Nice and easy grab with Skyryser. TFTC The-Shredder
OK found it. On maiden mission on using a GPS so its slow going and had gone past this before I had the GPS working with me instead of against me. Love walking these hills if there is time after shopping on a Saturday. Thanks for bringing me again. Cheers
#1362 Quick find with mini me. All good here at GZ. Thanks for another South Island smilie.
Mum forgot to push start so had to back track a little but easy find once we were there. Tftc
Thought I'd head up this way early to avoid too many muggles. But alas this Easter monday - everyone had the same thought.
So some stealth was required today.

Unlike the previous logger, there were no muggles on the Wither Hills Cache Park at 7pm tonight. Kiwimykl had mentioned the NCIS night cache to me early today while clearing out the Reservoir Ridge and I said I would be keen to do it, which is why we were up here at this time of the night. Unfortunately we lost our way but Kiwimykl mentioned this might be close by.
And it was, a QEF bonus cache for getting lost in the dark.

Week five of our training for the Heaphy Track. This time next month we will be heading up the 17km uphill first leg from Brown Hut to Perry Saddle, a 800 metre climb. From then on it is pretty much undulating or downhill the rest of the way.
As the training coordinator is a fellow cacher, he always selects a route that will take in a few caches and today I managed to pick up three. I was by myself today as the two other cachers had other pressing appointments, so there was only one set of eyes looking.
This was No. 3. of 3 and as it was slightly off our training route, I waited until we had finished our walk and went back to it. It was only 220m away from where we were parked, so you could say it was a park and grab... almost.
It has just come to my attention that B&W is responsible for all the caches I pick up this morning and I see he is the CO for 3 of the 4 caches I'm hoping to pick off on a walk with my wife this afternoon.
As usual, my temporary boarder, the Fosters TB came along to enjoy the walk and visited the cache. I am hoping to pass this TB on sometime this weekend and have identified a cache in Picton that gets a lot of international action, perhaps it will get out of the country and back to Lodi, Califirnia.

#8980. A short climb to GZ. The cache was quickly spotted, and then we headed back down to pick up the Gentle Annie track. TFTC.
After finding "Seat on the link", we headed off to this cache. Very busy at this time with people taking advantage of the cooler morning temperatures to go for a walk, run or bike ride. Another quick find. TFTC.
In Blenheim from Canada visiting with my daughter and her family. Only 30C out so we decided to go for a hike and find some caches. Found this with coastalmartinis and FluffyUnicorn02. Absolutely gorgeous views from up here. TFTC
Found with coastalmartinis and eltee291.
It was quite easy to spot once we got to GZ. Big brother found it with his stellar eyesight. TFTC!

Found with FluffyUnicorn02 and eltee291. Eldest boy child actually did the spotting. What a great hide. TFTC!
Biking with wee munchkin on our first mtb ride! Thought we'd do some geocaching as well!
Down in Blenheim for Xmas break staying across the road and this was my first cache I found. Nice.
Running at Wither Hills Farm Park. This was the first cache and it was found easily. TFTC!
[green] I tried this last week on my cycle around the Wither Hills. Alas it had gone missing. B&W replaced it promptly (I'm impressed!). This weekend is about study for an exam tomorrow, but my brain was turning to mush, so I hopped onto the bike and set off to attack some of the missed items in Blenheim. This cache is now an easy find (not like last week!). Dropped in a pathtag as thank you for the fast maintenance.
Back up the hill yet again (why are they always up???). Came up on the wrong track again, and walked up the rest of the way. Alas I could not find the cache. Hopefully whoever chewed it last time (see an earlier log) hasn't eaten it completely.
Found this cache a couple of metres from a tree....with a "V".. The container looks as though it has been attacked by a fanged animal.....it is broken, split along the container. Replaced but it isn't in good condition.
found tonite on a casual stroll up the hills great way to unwind after a bad day at work tftc
Replacement log is pretty wet. Unfortunately I'd left my spare bags behind so couldn't double bag TFTC

My last find around the wither hills tracks. Nice and quick find here. Enjoyed my little ride this afternoon. Perfect day for it. Plenty of people out walking and biking today. Tracks a little greasy however. Thanks for the cache and the smiley.
I've been looking longingly at these Wither Hills whenever I've been in Blenheim in recent months. My master plan for today was thwarted a bit by leaving work later and then having to do some additional and unexpected work when I arrived. However still enough time for a long walk but not the entire circuit. Log was pretty munted and wasn't going to last much longer so replaced it. TFTC #5674
Found at the end of a long walk from the Redwood car park side of the hills. Not too busy as I was passing this spot so it was an easy grab. TFTC.
Time for one last cache. Car park was popular this morning but only a rabbit for a muggle near GZ. Dying to cache these hills some time when I have more time.

Find #213 for the BAMMJams - a quick wander after dinner to tire the mini-BammJams out. Cache quickly in hand and log signed. TFTC.
Third find at a nice morning walk up the Wither Hills with Stefthevet, Quickly found thanks to the hint. Good idea! TFTC!
The third and last cache which GabiG50 & I found on our early morning walk. Awesome views, great place for hiding little treasures. Tftc
Our first visit to Wither Hills Farm park, we enjoyed an early morning walk of about an hour. This was our third find of four. Quickly found using the helpful hint, TFTC B&W.
Had to leave the bike and take a quick walk up to find this cache. First for the day. TFTC
