Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I live full-time in our caravan travelling around NZ, visiting the places we want to visit & doing the things we want to do and fitting in a bit of Geocaching here & there we had decided that wed move on to Central Otago today, staying in Cromwell we actually parked up in the NZMCA Park (The Secret Reserve) & from the door of our caravan to the cache was approx. 25m so this ended up being a really quick and easy find, logbook signed & cache returned as found were also pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally TFTC ... TN:LN:LS this was #6,596 for us!
On our way home - good to find another place with public toilets! Were a bit concerned to see it was in a MCA park, but then realised the "Four Barrels" walking track goes through there so no problem going in.
Only a short wander for this one. Cache in perfect condition and ready for the next finder. Thank you for placing this cache for me to find.
Walked on through drizzle & a strong wind off the lake to grab this one. Havent been down here before so was a nice area to explore. Nice quick find. [TFTC]
Out and about enjoying the hidden gems of our country. On a cool Central Otago morning, no fog or frost, making the most of the new Matariki holiday. Haven't been along this beach front for years, not since the kids were young. So much has changed. TFTC. Certainly was a secret little treasure. Had to be quiet as a muggle was camping
Pretty cool to discover this little camper an park over. TFTC on this beautiful sunny central Otago day .
We were unsure of how to get to the cache at first, then realised we just had to be brave & enter the compound. A very easy find after that. Thanks for placing.
Thanks sting1606 for the cache. Its #1824 for us. We found your cache on Wednesday 15 November 2023. We are NZMCA members so it is nice to discover this park although our caravan is a thousand kms away across Cook Strait! Lovely place
Definitely a secret reserve with open toilets. A very roundabout access route if you come from Thelma Pl.
Want to know whose head height as this is set at!!!!grand spot , bugger if I can find it, you need to check if it’s still at head height
Didn't find it. There seemed to be an obvious spot but I couldn't see it there
We were the only campers in the reserve today, so had the opportunity for a long unhindered look, but we're out of luck here.
tucked away reserve but well used by motorhomes. parked here for a couple of nights. lovely autumn day. tftc
Christmas Day find .
Strolled 100m from caravan then back for more food and drinks, then a rest from the effort ! Thanks

Found with StreetWalkerNZ on a warm day as we travelled from Wanaka to Cromwell for a day trip.
A wee detour to this cache. We parked at the caravan park gate and walked the short distance to the cache. It was a quick find as it was on the ground. Nice big container. Replaced in the obvious hidey hole. TFTC.

#20480. Felt a bit self-conscious walking through the caravan park, but nobody took any notice of us. Cache was in the open on the ground, so we replaced it in the obvious hidey hole in the tree. TFTC.
Out on a morning's cyclocache ride of the Loburn cycle trail and some back roads. Nice to find a cache within a NZMCA Park (which had probably not yet been established when the cache was placed). I had thought of parking my caravan here on Friday but ended up in the other NZMCA Park a few kms further up SH8. Thanks for the placement sting1606
Got it nice spot nearly swapped marbles for my TB but hung onto it for a little while longer
We are staying in the reserve for 3 nights and of course can't leave without finding a cache less than 80m from the caravan. It does take a bit of patience when others are camped within a few metres of the cache though. Finally on our last night here the opportunity arose.
Thank you sting1606.

We're hunting Tour caches and anything that's not slowing down our objective to much. We scored 3x nights at Rotary Glen with max occupancy of 10 vans. The plan was just staying 2 nights but it's just to nice here. We never explored Cromwell, just raced through so we're going to make the most of it. The wind is already picking up and growing into a decent storm as the day progresses. It took 3 days before I could snaffle this cache. Just 74.3m from where we were parked but always with people around. A small window of opportunity presented itself and the deed was done. The lid hadn't been clicked in place and lay on the ground. Log signed and cache reassembled and put back. Thank you sting 1606
Found this guy just a couple of meters away from our accommodation.
Almost put my hand in the wrong hole just managed to see a pair of eyes and a nose looking at me before putting my hand all the way.

Caching with watcache they retrieved this one but not before getting a fright from a friendly possum.
After staying overnight here we found this one on our way out geocaching for the day. First one for the day with a plan to do the Little Fruit and Little Vegetable trails.
Thanks sting1606.

Easy found. I saw there lots of rabits' holes and animals. Thank you for a tip where to go for a walk after sitting in beautiful public library. I don't know why is this camp area only for 10 vans - there are too space ...
After the second wine tasting we continued on the route, passing this cache on the way. Soon found - although I would call this a Regular size! TFTC
We’ve now been to our second vineyard on the four barrels tour and I still sober enough to find caches. Not sober enough to drive a car but we are on the walking tour. Not sure we’re going to find any more caches today, will concentrate on the walking drinking and eating.
Stayed in the not-so-secret reserve a couple of nights, being NZMCA members ourselves.
So an easy find this morning. Dropped a TB. TFTC

Think I came to this place down the wrong road, but jumped a fence and scrambled down the hill. Quickly found after that bit of unneeded exercise.
On my way home after a weekend in Clyde, nice to be able to change some of the many green dots into yellow smiles around these parts.

We’re based at Arrowtown for a couple of days and headed over Cromwell way today to find a few caches and do some short walks in the process. This was one of 24 caches we located. A reasonably quick find after having found one or two others along the lakefront. #2698. TFTC.
Camping ground was filling up. A short wander around the shade and big pot in hand to sign log log. TFTC mate.
On the case of the biggest Museum jewel heist in history! Locating a detective, briefed him on the case and investigated the scene collecting evidence. Finding fingerprints, footprints and shadows recorded on video surveillance - one by one fifteen stolen gems were recovered only having to find another 20/15 caches to solve the vault code changed by the thieves, return the jewels and close the case. Like others I came at the cache from a different direction, which probably lead me on a merry dance after the previous wine cache ha ha. Several metres out on my walkdown felt more like 30mt under the trees and once I had the right place, the hint worked at the right angle. Noice big 1Lt pot in hand to SL well hidden under duff. TNLN A bit hard to be inconspicuous here unless you park your Winnebago right in front of the cache hide and every man and his dog knows the same secret. Took a walk over the hill to search out an archived [lake](https://coord.info/GC21VGD) cache that was gonnee and made my way back to where I'm purrty sure I parked the car. TFTC

What a cool wee spot this was to find with hifiveitslivtime. Not sure if we approached it from the best direction but it was fun to drive along the beach! TFTH.
