As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

Drove past this morning while heading out to North Brother for the event. Very damp around GZ even after a few fine days after all the rain from a couple of weeks ago.
I will give it a few more days before trying again.

29-Jan-15
I am temporarily disabling this cache until I get back into the area and check on it. It is very hard to find anyway and with the recent flooding it could be gone.

27-Jan-15
Looks like it is gone, couldn't even get into the park today due to all the water laying about, after all the rain yesterday.

03-Jan-15
Will keep looking. Hopefully that photo doesn't mean it has been lost.

03-Jan-15
Didn't find it yet lives up to the 4/5 in difficulty rating

We DNF'd 1 caches today. Twisted[:(!]
[red]We spent quite some time here at around 10:56:00 AM, but we couldn't locate your cache, so a DNF from us - - - not stating it's not there... just that we couldn't spot it. Twisted

Attempted at 11.40am. Dnf

09-Nov-13
FINALLY!!! This one has been our longest running DNF. Came back for the 5th time. Went through everything again, confirmed we were in the right place, but this time for some reason found it in minutes.

Have looked here numerous times but apparently (according to the other half) must have been having "A man look".

Can finally cross this one off and that means that Port Macquarie is now complete until the next cache is placed.

TFTF (Thanks For The Frustration) Wink

Great fun! Had a lesson in navigating without a compass (it froze). Thanks DropBear_1! Haven't seen this park from the inside after going around it for the last 15 years or so. TFTC

A late afternoon walk in the park with the dogs had me running into SparkArmSU and DropBear_1 again, this time with Phatt as well. Knowing that two of these are ex-army I expected that their hunt shouldn't take too long for a multi-leg navex, and it didn't.

My dogs didn't get too much of a play and run before the cache was in hand and I was able to check it over. It did have a substancial ant nest inside and some of the camo had come off so I removed it for half an hour for a quick clean, spray and camo replacement.

All back in place once again.

This was a great walk in the park and titled, made for some interesting fun that is great for family group, Loved the puzzle involved to get to final location of cache. TFTC Smile

04-Oct-13

Had another go at this one today but still no luck. Checked and double checked the co-ords but no cigar. This one is definitely the thorn in my side.

02-Feb-13
Looked for ages after working out and then double checking the final co-ordinants but couldn't find it.

28-Jan-13
After checking it myself and getting Team Gnome to do so as well. I can confirm this is still in place.

03-Jan-13
Was wondering why this didn't show on the iPhone but did on the gps. Good co-ordinates after a leisurely walk in the park and an interesting cache hide. Thanks Wombat-1

23-Dec-12
Container is gone again.

One more time and I think that will be it...

10-Dec-12
Third attempt & still no good. Confirmed the co ordinants with the CO, searched on three occasions and still no good.

05-Dec-12
Pretty sure my final co ordinants were right. Looked for ages, but as they say... "No cigar"!

05-Nov-12
Carried out some maintenance

08-Oct-12
Confirmed new co-ordinates yesterday afternoon and carried out one final check earlier this morning.

All is ready to go again now.

06-Oct-12
Replaced cache with a new container, log-book and pencil.
As well as that, I have moved the container to a more secure area and will update the co-ordinates as soon as I have been able to get a good new average.
This move to a new GZ has required some new calculations and another question to answer.
All should be up and running tomorrow all going well.

23-Sep-12
Temporarily disabling listing until I get a new container sorted.

16-Sep-12
Found the geocaching note floating in the water but no case

16-Aug-12
Just checking

07-Aug-12
What a fun cache. Found on a beautiful winter's day. TFTC

06-Aug-12
We looked and looked and looked. No cache but we had fun in the park anyway. Maybe next time we might get lucky and find it.

31-Jul-12
0030 Had looked here three times before (and another spot twice), so it was nice to get the container at last (even tho when I had a good look I couldn't see it - had to feel for it).Big Grin
Another day covered, and another successful 'night caching' trip.

PS I'm still working on that special cache for such 'Wombats'

25-Jul-12
All good to go again.

25-Jul-12
All back in place with a new container log book and pencil.

12-Jul-12
It appears that the recent rains once again have washed away the cache.

I am disabling this listing until I can get a new container in place and this time I will secure it so it cannot go too far...

12-May-12
1630 Not realising I'd miscalculated 'B' I went back to previous incorrect site, and things had changed. No longer looked like a little local park, but someone's back yard. Took a photo of the gates, only to find out it was unnecessary. Back later to check The Spot - DNF

Got the answers, and very wet feet, but no joy at GZ, as the GPS was not wanting to settle in one spot.
At least it wasn't swinging over the fence where the yappers were.
May be back

06-Apr-12
We have been pack to the park 4 times this week, have checked & rechecked our answers but keep comming back to the same GZ. Won't give up, maybe its because of all the rain we've had its made this site is very wet.

Good to see this cache back in play.
Good Friday Morning & we took a walk down to the park to record our find, as you can see from our first log we had all the information just no cache.
This is near the school where our geo grandchildren go to. Great area for kids.

Just got back into town from a tour out through Coonabarabran and hiking in the Warrumbungles for a week.
I have made up a new cache which contains a log and a pencil and it is just now in location.

Please replace this exactly as found.

Happy caching...

I didn't notice that this one had been made unavailable when I went to do it.
Has a nice walk around the park collecting the information on a sunny day. Found where GZ was but obviously no cache.
Thanks, Robmc.

19-Mar-12
I think that this cache may have been washed away in the last flood (and what a big one that was, I woke up at 5:30 am, stepped out of bed and landed in 3 inches of water.
Suffice to say that the street that I live on had a LOT of water flowing down topping the gutters. The amount of water caused the storm water drain cover to blow off. This creek would have been rushing.
I am disabling the listing until I manage to get a new containter into the correct location.

18-Oct-11
Found this and it was tucked away neatly.
Will be around tonight for a b-b-q pprass.

17-Oct-11
Found at 9.55am GAFF5. 2nd time round and it wasn't where a previous finder had told us to look. It was tucked way under, which is a much better location and a bit more secure.
Thanks Wombat-1 - also took the opportunity to take a couple of the bbq gas burners that were out on the nature strip for rubbish day!

16-Oct-11
Gotcha !!! TFTC

15-Oct-11
New cache back in place this afternoon.

Happy caching

11-Oct-11
After seeing pprass' note and speaking with him, I finally got out to investigate this cache.

It is no-where to be found at the final location.

I will replace the cache as soon as I am able.

09-Oct-11
DNF at 11.20am. We enjoyed the location and the questions were clear and un-ambiguous so everything was going well except for the final bit! We couldn't find the cache even after a call to a friend!
It may still be there, but we can't get in far enough.

23-Sep-11
Had a good fun enjoyable afternoon following the clues to find it, great hiding spot in the end!

21-Sep-11
Finally picked this up after finding one of the answers a couple of weeks ago in between appoinments in LHB. Another 1/2 hour to burn between appointments again close by so went in for the kill. Wrong time to go looking for this one, 8:30 am. what with all the kids wandering around going to school, and people walking their dogs. Had to look very stealthly, while not trying to look too suss. It's amazing that you can feel so exposed for some caches, but when you get to GZ, you can be just hidden from prying eyes by a well placed tree or two. Thanks Wombat-1
Cheers from Browngang

19-Sep-11
Got it and bout time...took a while but had fun. TFTC

19-Sep-11
It took me awhile to work out what to do, because i didn't read the instruction * face palm* Nice little hiding spot.

11-Sep-11
Tough to find, with two looking was still quite difficult. Even with some helpful advice from Phatt, the cache was a tricky grab, but eventually and triumphantly plucked the cache from it's womb!

27-Aug-11
TFTC! found the final location fairly easily, cache is well hidden so keep looking in the logical spot til you find it!

20-Aug-11
Headed out on a single cache day.

May well as be a good one!

a multi cache came to mind and this one was close by.

Headed to the GZ and took the path less travelled, seems to be our method of operation !, and parked close by.

Geowife, thinking like a hider, thought she spotted the GZ before starting the quiz. Geohusband not too sure that geowife was right - must be a guy thing Razz.

After the sums were done, cache in hand! mud on shoes, park a little boggy after heavy down pour over night!
TFTC

03-Aug-11
11:30 Got it! Glad I could help with the wonky coordinates Wombat-1. It's weird how this can happen but it sometimes does. Now they are "spot on". TFTC

02-Aug-11
Found today a very nice day to get out for some caches this park is a great place for the kids to play.
SL TFTC
Happy Hunting Smile

02-Aug-11
Couldn't find it : (

27-Jul-11
I found some descrepancies in some of the waypoints (thanks LHBFan for letting me know). The readings I took over two days last week are quite a bit out from what I have been finding this week. Reading through my track logs, I found at a couple of occasions there was no way that I could have been where the GPSr had me at. Like in the middle of someone's house...
So with the information from LHBFan and six other Walks in the Park this week, I appear to have come up with a better average.

25-Jul-11
A very clever and interesting cache that lives up to it's name and requires a little maths along the way.

Nice work Wombat-1.
