Logs
As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been longer than 28 days since the last reviewer note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 28 days), just contact us (by email) once the cache is in place, and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 28 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.
Had a quick look in here - so many paperbarks! It sure is an eerie kind of place. No cache that we could see, and we looked in plenty of trees...
Another DNF for me. Thought I'd give this one last bash after solving it the day it came out 3 years back. Still can't seem to track it down
Wow. We live less than a km from here but never ventured further than our local park. Totally regretting not having bought around this park instead. TFTC and for showing me the prettiest park in Perth.
Solved the puzzle a while ago and seeing as this has been disabled due to the new guidelines I thought I would try before it disappears. Found GZ with hundreds of possible locations for the hide. I hunted but no luck.
The Stirling City Council have made new rules for their Bushland, Coastal Dunes, Wetlands areas and includes any other area affected by dieback within the boundaries of the council local government area. These new rules can be found at https://wiki.groundspeak.com/display/GEO/Western+Australia and will affect already published caches within the council area.
This cache listing has been identified as being one of the approximately 85 existing caches that are located in one of the areas identified by the new rules and must be checked so is being temporarily disabled until the status of the cache is determined as complying or non complying with these new rules.
If this listing complies with the new rules then it can be enabled again but a note must be placed on the cache stating that the cache complies with the rules.
If it is determined that this cache does not comply then the owner is requested to remove the cache for the existing location and archive the listing.
If you wish to replace the cache at some other location within the Stirling City Council Local Government area that does comply with the new rules please submit a new cache listing for the new location.

Solved this puzzle some time ago so while around area working took a chance to hunt it down.
Unfortunately I had no luck today will return when there's less water around and less chance of coming across a slithering "Joe Blake"!

I have been meaning to do the star swap stroll for ages and today seemed like a good day to walk out the hangover from last nights birthday activities.
Had a fairly successful day with the varying styles of caches in the area
After a few DNF was in need of a smile, and the chemicals certainly delivered. Nice quick find as the cache was opened and spread across the middle of the path. Assembled all of the contents that I could find and placed back in a paper bark where my gps had the gz listed
Owner might want to check that it is in the correct place,

A short trip north to do a walk around Herdsman Lake with BettyBoo3747. No deadly treadlies today, so it was down to shanks ponies!
Grabbed a few other local mysteries while we were in the area.
Your attributes - Not at Night - for a cacher called starswappers?
An easy puzzle for someone trained in chemistry
Fascinating spot at GZ, like something out of a story.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 6107. Day 3 of our caching foray around Perth that resulted in 28 finds and 3 DNF's. Robmc and I headed out through peak hour traffic and turned north. Our aim was to walk around Herdsman Lake and also to pick up some other nearby caches. It was a long walk - for someone who dislikes walking - and took us over 4 hours. We did enjoy seeing so much diverse birdlife around the waterways today.

Haven't managed to grab too many of the puzzles we have solved over the past few months, but this one now has a smilie against it. This was another enjoyable puzzle done in preparation for our trip to the west.
Thanks starswampers

This puzzle we solved already in Germany, was not too difficult.
Today we came across the area and found the cache fairly quick although there are lots of paperbark tress around.
TFTC and regards from Germany.

First puzzle cache and nice to know our science degrees are good for something! Thank you for bringing us here, area reminds me of Alice in wonderland. Definitely recommend going around dusk. Tftc!
Had a second look today. Much drier than last time but still no luck. Feel like my co-ords are right but just can't locate the cache.
Went out today to look after solving a long time ago. Ground quite sludgey but walkable. a lot of debris around the place and couldn't find anything that might have resembled a cache. Hasn't been found in about 7 months so not sure if it would have washed away or been uprooted over winter?
Had hoped to find this cache today, but after inspecting the lay of the 'land' decided a retreat was in order and come back another day with more appropriate footwear.
Was about to confirm coords with owner as there were endless possibilities for a hide but widened my search and spotted something just a little bit different. Have always loved this area, such big trees. Well done Starswampers great puzzle but I owe it all to Google! Took TB
We tried to work it out but chemistry inclined sibling had the puzzle sorted in minutes!
great cache, left a car and and a tb.
On the way back, a muggle dog jumped into our car and sat down, happily ignoring it's owners!
TFTC, a great experience!

Nice cache. Found about 10m from GZ. It was nice to take shelter from the sun and heat for a moment. No need to climb. Tftc
4 months later and I had forgotten we had already tried this one. Still no luck.
Made an ill-fated attempt at this cache after work, all I succeeded in getting was a million mozzie bites. I spent about 40 mins looking but to no avail. The "hint" did nothing but irk me a whole lot more than I already was. Will come back another day to look for it again.
Enjoyed solving the puzzle, but couldnt find the cache. There were so many possible spots. We did not get our feet wet because our GPS said there was no need.
the puzzle solved with my helper then arrived at GZ... gee, its flooding, umm my tough sister have to waddle to get the cache with barefeet. Thanks for leading me here. took TB
This had been in our 'to do pile' since solving the puzzle shortly after it was published. Visited this lovely reserve and not only found this cache but a couple of others in the area.
A nice simple puzzle and a straight forward find. Loved the area where the cache was hidden. TFTC.
Solved the puzzle, took a month or two to get the cache. On the day we finally searched, it took two tries... On the first attempt, a family of muggles was playing with their dog in the search area. We came back later.
Didn't take long to solve the puzzle but it took a little longer to find the cache. We saw the tail end of a snake heading under a tree at GZ so we skirted around the area before we found what we were looking for.
Signed the log and retrieved the GC. Thanks for the puzzle and the cache starswampers.

The final of this reminded me in a way of the Enchanted Forest cache GCJ1Z4 in Victoria. Well perhaps the darker side of that. Interesting spot in a lighting storm.
In case you can't remember, this was the day the airport was closed and they had 4000 strikes just in the airport alone. I reckon this area had one or two while I was here!!! At least the tree at GZ was not too tall ........ It was not worth dying for. I looked around and I was the only one here. Gee there was no one around here with a rain coat ....Doh Doh!!. Go figure [:0] A man has to know his limitations. Damn you lightning.
Thanks to starswampers and clear skies from TeamAstro.

Finally got around to finding this one after solving it on the day it was published. Water levels are down a bit so it was a reasonably easy grab. Left a GC SL TFTC
Yay! Back today for another go at this one, and after looking in just about every other place I finally found the cache. Yes, it was in an unexpected spot
I enjoyed solving the puzzle, and enjoyed the cache location too. Thanks for the puzzle and the cache starswampers!

needed this one to fil hole in D/T matrix.....good puzzle and hide...thanks starswampers
Tried searching for this one at twilight, with a torch, but still probably not the best time of day. The GPS was a bit unsure of itself, and the hint was no help, and I searched quite a large area, but didn't come up with the cache.
I'm sure it'll be much easier when I return in the day time...

Solved this one when first published, glad science with Mr Mirco finally came to a use.
Met up with the Machman while out caching with Mrs Felix and in we went. Wasnt thinking about snakes in there and am kinda glad Machman ran interference with the mozzies for us, cheers Machman.
Thanks for the puzzle starswampers.

Out catching up with MCFonz on a short caching run today, now that we both actually get some days off! No more nightshifts or 3am starts for us this week. Organised to meet up with The Machman here before heading in to seek this cache.
MCFonz did the puzzle solving on this one. It took quite a bit of searching to find this one. The boots I was wearing were quite useful to just splash around in, rather than trying to balance with my dodgy knees. We found it soon enough, in what I would consider the last place you would expect?
Glad the mosquitoes decided to attack Machman rather than me for a change! Was wary of snakes in here, but none sighted.

Met up with McFonz and Felix to go searching for this cache, took a bit of hunt, but soon came across it in what I can describe as a very unusual location.....!!!
I foolishly was wearing shorts, which is not a good move when in dense swamp and it's 30 plus degrees, got bitten alive.... !!!
All adds to the fun.
Thanks for the Cache.

A quick find in the light of day... Came a couple of weeks ago but it was waay too dark and the mozzieezz waay too big.
Accompanied with smomac for the afternoon. It was great to meet her and enjoyed wander around the area. No swap. Signed the log. Thanks starswampers for organising the cache and hunt.
Well, Everlasting found it, but I worked out the puzzle. Scary bit of swamp.
It was lovely to meet Everlasting today and because she is so good at geocaching we managed to find three in less than an hour.

Solved the puzzle soon after it was released but after a good 10min search at the GZ I came away empty handed. Reading the description it also tells me why I couldn't find Ducktape Duck a few weeks back. Thought I'd had the wrong coords so had planned to recalc one day. Think I'm going to have to start avoiding starswampers caches, your cammo's keep beating me!
Arrived just as Bling was leaving and went in with another team. Soon found the cache and log signed. Met another cacher arriving whilst we were on the way out. Nice meeting you all.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
When I arrived there were a number of cars parked nearby so knew it wasn't going to be a FTF. It gave me a chance to meet and chat with a few people beforehand. Nice to meet you all and also to learn about Munzees.
Found the cache after a bit of a search, but it might be a little easier in the coming summer months.
Thanks starswampers, enjoyed the puzzle and the cache.

We were in the area on a munzee hunt when this cache come through on the emails and found it with the help of some fellow cachers. Nice to meet you all. TFTC Starswampers.
"FTF" @ 1400 . Found after a 20minute search at a different altitude to which I was expecting to find it. No wet feet but it was more by luck than anything
As i was leaving three others were approaching the search area
