Out with Cybergran V to find a few caches and fill in an evening
The night didn't start so well, with a DNF straight off but at least it ended with 6 finds all up and even better that one of them was a FTF
We'd not planned our trip, it was just one cache after the other and suddenly we were at Yarrawonga where I finished the night with a multi which I had started in my first week at work.
DNF! Even with a previous finder with me, this cache did not want to be found
I will be back, once the cache is back too

Interesting history, how times have changed. The cache took far too long to find. Should have looked properly in the first place. TFTC.
Decided to stop for a break from driving and grab this cache. Found it quick enough and a shiver went down my spine. Winding up one of these logs is my worst nightmare! Signed the log and 20 minutes later got the log back into the cache. The trees planted in the paddock really did make the break worth it. Thanks for the cache and the chance to have a break.

A bit of a search but with assistance from another cacher, found, signed, & replaced.
What a lovely spot. Wattles are in bloom at the moment, looking and smelling splendid. Tftc.

Day twelve of our 14 day holiday. Today we had a trip to Shepparton and surrounds doing some caches along the way. This took a while and the GPS was all over the place. Mr Pooky then broadened the search area and located the cache in a traditional type hiding spot, very well camouflaged. It matched the decor. The coordinates were about 6 metres out according to our GPS. TFTC and bringing us here, otherwise we would not have known that the Pony Paddock existed.
Took us a good while to find the cache after interpreting the hint wrong, lol. Eventually signed and logged. Tftc.
We have returned from Canada to discover a few more Australian caches! What a great way to explore the Land Down Under" ...
After a look at the plaque we got to the business at hand. Didn't take long to locate.
Interesting place. Thanks for showing it off micheena!

I took the advantage of a lovely sunny but cool afternoon after work to go and knock off a few local caches to home. Cor, I've never had luck finding mini or micros up until now and after a bit of hunting helped me out find this one, I discovered why! They can get tiny, can't they!
Thanks for the cache
Thanks for the cache
This one kept us busy for several minutes before finally getting it in hand in this pretty little park. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
Found with bucketeer on our 11 day pre Christmas trip to the North East of Victoria
Thanks for the hide

Made a quick stop from the main highway and managed a quick find this afternoon with the family. If it wasn't for getting a geocache fix we would never of visited this great little park. Thanks micheena for the cache and for bringing us here.
Driving from Kyabram back to the ACT and catching a few caches along the way. So tiny:-) TFTC.
At the market next door for the day. Finally grabbed this one before heading home. TFTC
TFTC heading north home to Qld after Mega in Melbourne picking up some extra on my map.
When I went to primary school I was fortunate enough to ride a bike but some of the kids rode horses and they were kept together in the paddock next to the school.
We did this one in the rain. SL TFTC

What a awesome little park ! Well done land care wish I had more time to stop and explore I would be able to pick out which plants I like and love the way they all have their names under them ! Tftc and the history lesson
After working at Numurkah for a couple of days I drove back homewards. I stopped here to check out this pony paddock. I really enjoyed reading the history and glad this area has been created in their memory. Thanks for bringing me here Micheena and the cache of course.
Great to see a piece of history kept alive. Mrs RoddyC said: I remember my mum reminiscing on riding her pony to school and leaving the pony in the horse paddock. So thanks for bringing us to this place. Found at 12.30pm on 24the September 2015. TFTC.
What a great spot for a cache, and a nice bit of history and a well hidden cache. Only problem was that l didn't find it, geowife prevailed again. Can't get much smaller than this one but its nature and position were very fair. We loved it. Thanks
Having friends who used to ride their horse to school I was fascinated to find 'A Pony Paddock'. Thank you for bringing me here. Found with misschief18 and Bentley TB

Such a lovely spot. Wish we had more time to enjoy it. This was a quick find with taurus1955 and BentleyTB. Well done to everyone concerned. TFTC
A lifetime ago I spent some time in Congupna... but those days have been and gone, and now there's caches to find. An interesting area, great to see the new plantings they have done. Thanks for bringing us here and for the hide.
A quick find by Mr Beetle while Mrs Beetle was still wandering around with the GPS trying to lock on to GZ. This place reminded me so much of my father who used to ride his pony to school and kept it in the 'horse paddock'. Only problem was that it used to escape and go home and quite often when he came out of school it wasn't there and he would have to carry the saddle and bridle home. Thanks.
Beautiful park area on a nice sunny day!! Prin666cess quickly found the cache and we're back on the road in a couple of minutes
Followed the hint and found it quite easily on my way back from shepp hospital. Also stopped at the bangerang Centre but a school group there so moved on to this one which one passed a few times. Tftc

Found by Mary & David at 0925. Like BettyBoo3747 and Robmc, we found ourselves grovelling. Found on the second pass. A lovely place to be at this time of day. Some of Mary's primary classmates travelled to school on horseback. Very impressive plantings too. Our thanks to micheena.
As a child I would have loved a pony to take me to and from school. Instead, rain hail or shine, I had to walk or cycle all the way there and back. You see, my dad owned a Ford. Go Holden

Bettyboo3747 and I wanted to grab a challenge cache in Numurkah, so we travelled a convoluted path to grab some other out of the way caches we had passed by on previous trips.
This was our second go at this cache (last one was a couple of years ago), and we were nearly as unsuccessful as before.
Had our snot blocks (purchased at the last town's cafe) and a drink to fortify ourselves for the search.
This is where it is a pity gc.com don't allow a nano classification.
Found by feel rather than sight.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 7451. Another very hot summers day and Robmc and I are driving a few roads less travelled between Beechworth and Numurkah to complete a challenge cache there. We are fortunate to be gathering quite a few interesting finds along the way.
Oh yes, the dreaded Pony Paddock. We visited this one 15 months ago (hard to believe it was so long ago) and I was very disappointed to put a DNF on this cache with historical interest. It looked like the same result this time. There is something very pathetic about two adults grovelling under a table and seats searching for an elusive something. But we did it anyhow. With no luck. We were back in the car when Cybergran V rang me about another matter and she told me this one is definitely missing. I told her that the CO had checked it recently. We went back for another look and suddenly I was looking at the damned thing. Rob had miraculously produced it like a magician. So pleased to put a smilie on this one.
Thanks micheena

We looked high, we looked low, we looked in, we looked out, but today there was no way we could work this one out! Joined with Team Crackers in logging a Nil find - No ponies either!
Perhaps a check by the CO to remove any doubt ? ?
Thanks anyway to micheena for bringing us to this location.

Returning from the fireworks display at Mulwala we stopped to grab a few caches on the way home.
Unfortunately this was not to one of them. We had a good look at GZ but must have missed something. It will have to wait until next time.
Thanks anyway Micheena we enjoyed the cache page and a walk around the park.

We'd looked for this one a year or so earlier with no success. It still was not immediately obvious this time, even though we were in the right place. Howerer, Mr Thetaz spotted it eventually. TFTC
I had a long weekend planned to visit the Victorian border region for a bit of caching. I had a great time and managed to get to many caches over the time I was away. Things got a bit hot which slowed me down, but I was happy to see so many great places and hides. Thanks.

Found in a really beautiful park area which is is a real credit to those who created it and maintain it.
The perfect paddock for a bite of lunch and a cache. Driven past lots of time but never stopped. Thanks Micheena
We loved this little park and the history that goes with it. We were also impressed with the named plants. Thanks micheena. We would have driven past otherwise.
Nice easy find on the way back to Dubbo after caching in four states. TFTC
Found with GeoTilly, GeoJnr. & Team GraMon. This park has grown since we last were here . TFTC.
On our way back from Tally to Shepp today we did a minor detour to look for this en route. Once again I was thankful for geocaching because it shadowed me areas in our area that I was unfamiliar with And for the cache owners who hide these incredibly ingenious and minuscule little caches thank you. And thanks also for muggle hubby whose sharp eyes found it.
My 100th Find!!!! Hooray
Nice and easy. Geomum got to it first but it still counts for me

A quick caching run from Numurkah to Tocumwal and then back to Melbourne, this one was on the way.
I stopped off here to have a look around, I headed towards GZ and the GPSr wanted me to keep going into the garden, but I stopped, turned around and then had a look at was now in front of me, the cache was then found quickly.
Thanks to micheena for placing this cache.
