OK it's time to put this baby to bed.
If anyone finds the little dog TB with the spring in his step please let me know.

Ok, it appears I was a guilty party and had one of the TB's sitting in my bag. A tad embarassing. . Anyhow I double checked and don't have the other one.
Always that pesky Captain mucking everything up. Maybe it's time for a War on Terror
OK who has the trackables that Captain Terror brought to the event?
I thought we had it just about finished but didn't realise he hadn't logged his.
Please have a look see if you have any of these beasties.

Thanks to everyone who made the CITO event such a success. I was blown away with the number who showed up, and the way everyone accepted an assignment and went out to do some clean up while suspending their urge to cache. Others managed to combine the two activities, and the result was a fantastic amount of trash collected and disposed of.
The mix of ages made the meet really interesting and everyone seems to have got some satisfaction from the event. Geocachers are a great bunch of people. Thanks for all the photos posted, and the hints and advice shared. See you at more events in the future!

Relogging this under individual account, previously a member of Gaz'n'Kab account.
We pulled up, grabbed our map and in no time we had a bag full and a couple of parks looking a lot cleaner We were joined with Captain Terror and had a very productive day!
Thanks for organising the event bristracker

Attended with GhostGums as we collected rubbish along the river banks.
Thanks for the CITO bristracker.
Thanks for the CITO bristracker.
I ventured to the event with MrMeccano, and arrived at an old workplace from years ago. We collected our bags and our map and we were off. We decided to tackle the track along the Caboolture River, which also enabled us also to grab two caches.
The area had its fair share of rubbish as there were a few spots where one could gather and have a social outing.
Well it didn't take us long to collect a full bag of rubbish, before we wandered off for some lunch.
Have attached a photo of MrMeccano with our bag of collectables for the day!
Anyhow thanks bristracker for orgainsing the event.

A little bit late logging our attendance at this event - we managed to collect a few garbage bags of rubbish while out and about before catching up with everyone for lunch. Thanks for organising the event bristracker.
Hi geotrackers, there are 2 trackables still not retrieved from the Event.
I'd like to archive the cache.
Could you please check whether you have either of these:
# Rat Dog (picture on web page)
# Heroes (no picture)
Thank you one and all

Nearly a non-event for me, arrived late and no one about, a few calls and still no joy, but one more pass a bit later and was able to catch up with a few fellow cachers.
Thanks BT.
Thanks BT.
I think Alkzura mentioned how odd we must have looked with hats, gloves, trashbags and prams... maybe some folks thought we might be doing some community service! X-D
We did manage to tidy up, have a nice walk on a beautiful sunny day, and a good lunch in great company at the pub. All in all, a very enjoyable day and a fun event. Even little MissSuzie got in on the action, being the youngest almost-cacher at the event, and scored a teddy bear travel bug! TFTE!

Had a great day and met lots of other geocachers. We cleaned up the rubbish around the cache "This Little Piggy Went To Market", found the cache and had lunch at the Tavern with all the geocachers. Thanks to bristracker for organising the event. The environment is a now a better place for us and future generations.

Hehe, first to log. Had been battling a cold for a few days but was determined to make this event. Drugged to the eyeballs I went along today. Nice and early and set out with gaz'n'kab to clean up some selected areas. I won't lie we may have graabed a couple of caches en route, but we figured they were deserved. A good lot of rubbish was soon dropped into a council bin before heading back for lunch. My drugs wearing off, I decided to give a miss and not infect everyone else. Glad that bristracker put this event on for us, nice to have another icon with a smiley next to it, and loved the opportunity to grab some other caches in the area. TFTE.
Just like Captain Terror, we coughed and spluttered our way out to Lagoon Creek. For a very clean area we were surprised at the amount of rubbish we managed to collect....we almost have enough to build our son's, Connor, first car! With drugs starting to wear off we headed back to our car collecting our rubbish bags back along the track. In total we had 4 very full bags of general rubbish as well as 1 car tyre, 1 steering column, 1 rear shock absorber mount, 1 TV, and 1 empty drum, but we couldn't retrieve the front end of a Kingswood out of Lagoon creek....that will have to wait for another day when we are all feeling better....cough, sniff, cough. We found the Lagoon Creek cache but forgot to leave our trackable. Lunch with other Caching nuts was a great way to meet likeminded people eventhought we kept our distance and germs away from you all....Thanks to Bristracker for arranging this event.
Thanks Bristracker for organisation well done. As usual it was great to meet up with the good people who one finds at Geocaching events.

We were running a little late for this one, however we still arrived in time to perform a little CITO with EngPhil, Palopinto and the geobubs. Unfortunately we were hampered in our efforts by the little ones in our progress in cleaning up the area. We decided as a result to do a bit of urban Cito'ing close to base.
Its amazing how many strange looks you get from people when you wander around picking up rubbish while wandering around the streets.
All in all this was a well organised successful event (Thanks bristracker!) and a great excuse to catch up with a great group of geocachers along with a nice lunch at the tavern to finish off the day.

Great day, awesome organisation and great to meet new people and catch up with others. Had heaps of fun. TFTC and day!
Thanks bristracker, we left this event with the satisfaction of a new cache type done having had the pleasure of wonderful company. I'm happy to say we met a few new people today and were sad to have to depart early. TFTE
We walked with NyletaM and Alkzura and their kids, and we picked up lots of rubbish! I had my yellow gloves on. After we finished picking up rubbish, we went to the lunch shop with all the nice people. I had chips and a sausage and bread and pineapple juice. Then I played going down the big big slide with a big girl. It was fun. On the way home we ate some icecream.
Thank you to Aussie Liahona for the pink pencil. Thank you to Bristracker for organising the cache party.

"Find" #580 at 10:00.
We were never going to pick up the most trash today, what with the toddlers and babies, but I was still pretty happy with our two bagloads of junk. MissGeosie was very keen to pitch in too, hauling rubbish out of spots that mummy and daddy had no chance of getting into. [^]
We even grabbed a cache or two along the way, before heading off to a great lunch with most excellent company. It was, as always, good to catch up with familiar faces and meet some new ones too.
Special thanks to bristracker for organising a very worthwhile event (I also believe you travelled furthest to attend!) and to Aussie Liahona for bringing along a heap of swag to share around (and that fun little quiz sheet!)

Came up to Caboolture last night to be nearby and attend this event. We were so happy to be able to attend a CITO event, not having attended one before, although we do always try to CITO when Geocaching. We only found two caches this morning but managed to pick up 2 and a half bags of rubbish. My daughter and granddaughter were with me and we all got a great sense of satisfaction out of doing the clean up. We decided if we saw rubbish on the way to a cache we would pick that up too, and we later passed one area we'd already cleaned, another couple of times, and smiled and felt satisfaction that it now looked so much better. I'm very glad I had my granddaughter there to participate. It's always such a good example to the young ones.
Thanks Bristracker for a really great event. We enjoyed reacquainting with some Geocachers, and meeting new ones. The pub lunch was a big hit.
Brought some trackables and only left with one. Hopefully they will all go to oft visited geocaches that are safe from muggles.

Planning to come along, as I have never been to Caboolture, and it would be cool to have this icon
Just to let you know that we have all got the flu and don't know how we are going to pull up on Saturday, we will see how we feel in the morning. Ed
I have made a booking at 12pm tomorrow for 12 people at the Club Tavern down the road from our meeting place. It's on the corner of Hasking St and Matthew Tce, across the road from the RSL Caboolture. If we have more or less it won't matter.
Ooooh next weekend? Might be a little soon after the new arrival, it all depends on how fast I shake this cough!
If its gone, I think you can count us in, would be great to finally go caching again!

I'm thrilled at the numbers who have already shown their interest in this event. Captain Terror made some good suggestions too. All this has given me a boost and bodes well for the success of the outing.
Oh botheration to children's sporting obligations!!! The Mads would have loved to have been there as we always have the old shopping bags shoved in the back pack in order to cart that horrible rubbish back out with us when we find it!!! But netball.....netball.....netball.....by the time the umpiring is done, then the coaching, then the two games....that's the day done and dusted!!! Hope you all have a great time and grab heaps of rubbish out!!! The really frustrating thing is that particular Saturday is the LAST Saturday for netball for us....never mind...then we will be free to cache more often again!!!!! Have fun you guys...wish we were there!!!
Will try to make it to. Not sure how many more of the gums I can get to come though!
We NEED one of these ICONS and would love to do a bit of caching up that way too. Actually I thought there'd be a number of CITO events this year as I thought this was the year to highlight CITO, but this is the first we've seen. Ha, ha, Bristracker - LOVE the name for the event! Well done! We'll be there! And, I dare say we'll stay for lunch.
woohoo
finally an event on a saturday when transport is good.
ed has to work and kelly will be at a wedding, guess i am coming on my own

First to Attend! I have often thought about CITO caches/events and look forward to adding the icon to my collection. Not to mention a few numbers from up that way as well. Look forward to having a yarn and some hardcore cleaning.
Arrrgghh another Event and I am away again Will be in Sydney on this day. That will teach me to have a small holiday away Hope all goes to plan, Bristracker
