Having made the turn, on returning we stopped for this cache too. Found a way round the bushes, lots of blossoms don't hide the prickles!Staying 2 nights in the Lincoln National Park set us up well for a good day of caching and exploring the area. Some enquiries the day before had us driving into Port Lincoln to collect the key into the locked world heritage area of the park. It's great to have access to this, and was a great day with only a couple of others seen all day. The weather was perfect with blue skies and sunshine. The scenery stunning, great beaches, headlands and a turquoise water. Many of the caches unfound for long periods and due for a found. One had almost 3 years of unlove and many DNFs, a great find to confirm it was still there. Enjoyed watching whales splash gentle by the cliffs from above, with their loud airblows and another stunning sunset to end the day. Although we did cache on in the dark on the way back to camp well after it. For a detour to meet friends the evening before, a great choice to experience this area. Thanks for your cache.
Another long trip around AU over the top end with lots of detours. Now heading back east across the Nullarbor with a stop at Maralinga.TFTC. Was at Ceduna with Aquilus1 on the way to Coober Pedy when invited to dinner at Lincoln National Park at the bottom of Eyre Peninsula by a group of Canberra geocachers including Gliss & nibletricecakes.Camped a couple of nights and totally enjoyed caching through the most of the park including getting the Memory Cove key.Found a few unloved DNFs, lots of kangaroos, emus, whales, snakes wriggling out of caches and looking through caves.Well worth it.Another prickly route to the cache.
Found at 11:18 AM in the company of The Morris.I've seen on the TV cooing shows how razor fish is such a delicacy - would really like to try one, but even in the fish shops around here we couldn't find any. Thanks to wheres_wolly_sharonFeedback: Looking at the hint now, we don't understand what it refers to - donuts? There was nothing of the kind out there
We are travelling with Pprass and have now set up at Lincoln NP for a couple of days. So much to see and do here and the weather has been sunny and conducive to getting out and about. Today we headed around town and country shopping and collecting some caches and AdLabs.A prick of a find - I learned today that Pprass doesn't like gorse but I think he's going to have to get used to it.Thanks for the tour around the area wheres_wolly_sharon

No idea what the clue means. Out on trusty treadles exploring the trail and sights. Finally in Port Lincoln with time ahead to stop in this lovely well kept historic town. Day 17 in SA after numerous trips were sabotaged due to you know what and its a fab day. The Ikera- Flinders Ranges, Whyalla, Port Lincoln and a few in between caches are high on the list along with several other random caches so hoping to tick all boxes before heading back to home base. I’ve learnt theRE are plenty of quality SA caches - plenty to pique the curiosity and anticipation of another surprise or fun cache. TFTC AND THE FUN and the effort to contribute to this fave game.
Hanging out in PL today and managed to find a few caches.
We come in here earlier today and saw it was a ripper camp site. Five bees and two KG whiting in the bag, it was time for dinner.
Sandyofthesea and I took off from Perth at the start of April to travel more of Australia using geocaching as a guide to see the sights. How good is this country!!

One good thing that has come out of the Covid situation, is the need to holiday in your home state. With a week or so to spend away, we decided to head to Port Lincoln - a place we had not visited before. Our first day in the area was spent exploring Lincoln National Park, and what better way to find all the interesting spots, than to find the caches which had been hidden. Thanks for showing us many interesting places.
On our way back from Memory Cove with ilook4geo we also wanted to pick up some of the caches available around the area. This was one that we found quite easily and both names were soon added to the log. Thanks go to wheres wolly for placing this cache.
Out for some caching with goingplaces2 in the Lincoln National Park area and back towards Port Lincoln. This was a nice easy find and both names were soon added to the log. TFTC.

Today we explored some of the Port Lincoln National park, driving around, walking on many different tracks, sightseeing at the beaches and surrounds and finding many different caches along the way. What an awesome day we had and such fantastic weather as well. TFTC
Well it’s 2021 and I have finally said good bye to a not so great 2020 and it was great to finally be able to have a reasonable holiday as I have not had a decent break since 2019.
Made to South Australia and finally crossing the boarder and then being greeted by a couple of very friendly SA police offices for which i had the official paper work to allow me to enter.
After making my way west along the Eyre Hwy I went as far as Penong and the Eyre Hwy which I have not travelled along since the late 70’s when I was on a holiday with my folks and this was the last holiday before I started full time work as a sparkie and finding a few caches as I go.
Geocaching when towing a van is not always easy and I have to be a bit selective on which ones I decide to try and find for safe parking purposes especially along busy highways.
So after leaving Coffin Bay my next destination is Port Lincoln which is down the bottom of Eyre Peninsular off the Flinders Hwy.
I’m hoping for better weather soon I don’t mind it being cool just not rain showers when you are out and about.
So I set the van up at Surfleet Campground that is in Lincoln National Park yesterday and today is a new day so it was time to explore the South West area and the weather is finally looking good.
Made it back to the entrance of the NP to start from there and headed back in and it is very easy to park without the van on.
Easy parking here and I had not heard of razor fish so I didn’t even now what they look like till I did some googling on them.
Added my name to the log and onto the next one.
Thanks wheres wolly TFTC.

I needed a shave. This cache reminded me of so much. There was a fresh new smell here. I like that.

Tried to call CO but phone cuts out. Figured the obvious fire has taken this cache since it was a frequent easy find up until then. Placed a new pill container with log sheet to get it back in play.
Fire has changed the countryside so this one eluded us today. Can’t tell if it survived the fire or if it is well & truely gone.
2 sets of eyes, unable to come up with the goods. May have been consumed by recent fires.
Vanuit Port Lincoln National Park Lincoln gaan bezoeken en hierbij deze cache gezocht, maar niet gevonden.
Found It!
The hint didn't make much sense but I found the cache fairly easily anyway.

In Port Lincoln for a week. CACHES MUST BE FOUND in the National Park. Found with Csaba! and SupaOrange. Turtle Out
Today was my one full day in Port Lincoln, so I headed to the Lincoln National Park. I've been caching here before (in 2007) and enjoyed the scenery so it was a good chance to revisit and pickup a whole lot of new caches. This was the second cache I attempted today, but after close to 10 minutes, I decided to move on to other caches and try again on my way out.
So on the way out, I stopped again and this time I found it. The GPS still pointed at the same area, I was just unlucky not to find it first time. My thanks to wheres wolly for the cache.

Travelling Australia since March 2014 it has been a while since in SA but enjoying this visit greatly.
Visiting Port Lincoln we decided to spend the day in Lincoln NP exploring. All was going well until Mr Felix took a tumble and hurt his back, so we aborted our mission and will have to return another time.

Hi there wheres wolly.
We found your cache **"TURN TO THE RAZOR"** at 3:23:00 PM today. (This makes our find count 15752).
We enjoyed our trip around the Lincoln National Park today. (We came prepared with some cache maintenance gear, but it wasn't needed very often).
On our journey we found a wide variety of container types. We ended up finding 16 caches with 0 DNF's today. Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

We had originally intended to head back to Adelaide today, but instead, decided to extend our stay in Port Lincoln one more night... and so glad we did, as it was a beautiful warm sunny day... a perfect day to explore Port Lincoln National Park :c) Oh, and find a few geocache too!! TFTC!!
Parked here, nabbed this one & stayed put for the other nearby - which was a good thing as the track wasn't quite motorhome friendly. TFTC.
A quick find. Which was good considering the ants and prickly bushes around. TFTC
4689 found by baby&Mrs gopher at 1440. Today was the day to go to the Lincoln NP as it has been 20 odd years since the last time we were here. We pulled up beside the pipe line and went and found a DUFF bottle. SL Tnx wheres wolly
# 7785. Our first day of Easter camping in the Lincoln National Park and quite a glorious day today. Robmc and I set forth to find some of the local caches, especially my namesake and If's and Roostaman's. In the end we we found 16 and had 2 DNFs. At least I think that was the tally.
As If said back in November 2014 oh dear what a mess. Fortunately we had a clean fruit container in the car so we took the burnt messy rubbish and replaced it with a new container, a new log book and a pencil. Also left one of my pathtags here if I remember correctly. All good to go again,.
Thanks wheres wolly

Day Ten of the WA road trip with BettyBoo3747. Today we wandered around the area between our camp at Surfleet Cove, Lincoln National Park to Port Lincoln.
We didn't turn in and have a look at the Razor today, but we did stop off on the road for the cache.
The cache was a bit of a mess, so as we had just finished some preserved fruit we had a spare container
As BB explained we replaced the container, log and pencil, so it is good to go.
Thanks, Robmc.
