I have checked everywhere digging through the broken branchs and bark and cant find it think its been taken thanks for the new location
No 3 sad face while visiting this park. found the tree with a cubby near by. I think this cache has been muggled.
Definitely not here. Found the tree but no cache. Sad but lightening 1 is great.
I don't think it is there anymore. My family and I had searched high and low and did not find it.
searched every tree in the area and every possible hiding place. could not find it...either i am blind or it has been muggled.

Tftc, being brave needed for this one, good to see the creek running strongly
Love the walk down here every time, and this was a nice easy find once I got to GZ. Got a chance to use my new pen+flashlight I picked up at a quiz night last weekend. The perfect addition to any cacher's arsenal. For those who haven't read the earlier logs, this is now a mint tin without a pencil. It doesn't make any difference to the find though . Just one more to get in Lightning Swamp. Thanks again daz!
Geo mum and geo aunt taking a study break and thought we would grab a few finds! Took a gamble as hafnt been logged for a while.....but gamble paid off!!
#591. 178 days in a row.
I'm finally catching up on logging my finds from earlier in the year. I hope I've got all the dates right, but I've definitely found all of these caches and kept my streak going as long as I'm logging.

Out for some bush walking on this Saturday morning.
Longish walk for this one, but quick find in the end. TFTH.

I decided to find a few caches today so i jumped in the car and drove 45kms to find a few. After finding Lightening park 2 it was a long walk back to this one. I was happy to make a quick find here and now i had a very long walk back to the car TFTC daz89
Knowing it was a micro and seeing the rust bucket I was like grr not another one of these but a quick look at the hint I was happy. To scared of snakes and spiders I used my camera phone to do the looking for me. Tftc ^o^
Quick find today after a nice long walk. Good to return and find this one since its been replaced. TFTC.
By the looks of the spider webs this cache has not been touched in a while. It is exactly at gz thanks.
Quick grab here while waiting for daughter to finish dance lessons in Malaga. TFTC
Found this on a lunch time break. An easy find! I didn't have a scribble stick so didn't sign the log. Thanks
I was here back in April '13 when I had a DNF along with plenty of similar log entries. I've had a watch on it for a while and being in the area again it was time for another shot at it today. Had a quick find too!

No sign of the black cylinder, but the mint tin is definitely in place. I had to wait for the biggest millipede I have ever seen. It was crawling all over the cache on its way to a higher part of the tree. Those creatures give me the willies! TFTC daz89
With an early start, we decided to cache north of the river today.
We found a good variety of hides, which made the morning enjoyable.
This cache was well hidden and in good condition.
Thanks for the hunt today, daz89.

Second attempt.
Went back and reviewed previous logs and the hint and thought I'd give this a second attempt but unfortunately no luck this time either.
Hard to understand this one being muggled given the location.

Had a good look around the obvious tree, heaps of leaf litter but couldn't find it. so continuing the run of DNF's.
Disappointed after a fair walk, but the exercise didn't do me any harm! A DNF for me here.
GPS did the round and round the Mulberry Bush thing, but I think I was at the obvious spot. But the cache was not there. Hmmm. May have been muggled [?]
First for the day nice walk in this park i'm gald I found it through geocaching
Found with richlink. The last of the series at Lightening Swamp at the end of a long walk. Now, where did we leave the vehicles? TFTH.
Enjoyed walk along to the cache - finally find and signed the log. Thanks daz89.
A little tricky for a new pup like me. Fear of spiders put to one side, then cache was in hand (certainly not originaly in sight!). Bag still ripped but log is dry. Final find for my Lightning area run (4 out of 8 found [B)]).

[:(!] Went for a late afternoon of caching with the geograndson before they head back to Geelong the following day, arrived at GZ and we had the cache in hand in a matter of minutes. TNLNSL TFTC
All the proddy pokey sticks in the zone were a tad on the fragile side so this one took a bit to find. GZ had me on the big tree, then a bit deeper in, then at the right spot.

Was having trouble with my GPS, luckily Baffle was with us and we found this one. Didn't have our caching bag, so weren't able to replace the plastic bag that has a hole in it. TFTC.
After swearing I'd never re-enter the swamp after my last visit, I ventured to the cache I suspected was as close to the edge of the swamp as possible. I cheated and used col117's log cause without a GPS (and being a wimp in the bush) I didn't stand much of a chance (as was proved previously). Found myself a big stick and searched the most likely location. Yay, found a cache. Clearly daz89, you have the b b bounce. Thanks for the cache daz89.
I had run out of puff the other day so didn't quite get to this cache so returned today and parked nearby to have a quick find.
Thankd for the cache.
Thankd for the cache.
We almost had this one a couple of days ago but as I tried to cancel the "arriving at Coordinates" message I felt the screen sag and heard the sound of breaking glass. Boo Hoo! My one month old Dakato 20 was dead. Returned today for a quick find using my old Map76. TFTC.
Found it, wasn't sure if we were going to get across the water way !
Like to know what the old car was, looked quite old ?

Holy unholy den of mozzies - I've never seen them congregate to a cache so fast... size of dinner plates. TFTC.
Well after another epic day caching yesterday and with the forecast for rain. Caching was well off the list for today. So after a lengthy sleep in we logged on to see who had found the new cache Lightning Park. No can't be! Will we won't we. Really have to get the gardening done before we go away next week. Oh we'll just pop over and pick up the new one and the other 2 Lightning Quick ones we haven't done. Won't take long! Well this one didn't anyway. We had never been here before last month and now we have been 3 times in a month! Who would have thought. Whilst here we were getting emails for help on our Are you a foodie series! TFTC daz89
Initially thought the cache may have been hidden in the other old object near GZ but I soon found the correct place. Signed log and headed off to the next one.

Found this one lightning quick, as it was in the first place we looked. Thanks for the cache daz89.
After riding home from work with a friend today I headed out to come and find this cache. Finding parking was probably the most difficult task, then I enjoyed a nice walk around the swamp to the cache location, and made a quick and easy find.
I was very glad to see an Ikea pencil in the cache as I had forgotten my pen and was already looking around for charcoal I might need to use to scratch my name in the log, but it was not needed.
Thanks for the cache daz89!

This cache was not on the agenda for today, but I found myself only 4KM away...so headed off to make the find....
Surely not the last in the series??
