Monday - and its time to head home. We met up with everyone for the morning before heading to a couple of caches together, then we split from the gang and started our slow trek home. We stopped for caches, so it took us all day to get home. But we had fun doing so. Warragamba was probably the highlight for me. We spent quite a bit of time there, including having lunch at the takeaway. It wasnt too bad, just fish and chips and we sat at one of the AL WPs at the recreational area. Then it got late and the last couple of hours was just driving directly to home. This cache: Youban had the right idea and Tankengine found it. Team work makes the dream work. Nice clean log. Tftc!!!
Chooo ooo [Found] with dty73 and youban on our Canberra Penrith invasion! Thanks The Booos!
Going home with Tankengine and Dty73 stopped to grab this one. A bit tricky but got there. Kutgw
Found the sneaky hide after fifteen minutes. Really chilly morning at 6:45 am. My second visit here, last month was with my partner. Alas its jammed stuck so I am unable to unroll the log paper. Since I havent signed my nametag and date, it cant be a yellow smiley. Off to work shortlyWill check with CO The Booos first as I most dont want to bring a certain TOTT that may inadvertently leave minor damage. Be interesting to see if recent finders did sign this or claimed the stringy poled one. I noted a logged report from Feb 2023 hence I ignored the red herring !!!
Was having dinner next door with some family when I noticed there was a cache nearby. Since every when had moved onto desserts and the evening seemed to be coming to a close, I excused myself to try my luck with it.Under the cover of night, I searched around GZ for probably close to 45 minutes. Eventually I shot the CO a message asking for an additional hint intending to come back another day. As I gave it one last look before giving up, there it was! My previous hunch was right, I just hadnt looked in quite the right spot. It was just in the nick of time too as the rest of my party seemed to be coming out ready to leave. Signed the log and replaced it as found, dropping an FP for this one.Happy to report that they cache is in good condition and the log nice and dry.Greetings from MelbourneTftc
Well there you are finally located it . What sneaky one it is . I actually held it in my hand previously without realising ! Im glad I located with a little assistance from CO . FP . TFTC Booos
Started looking in the right spot but with the wrong idea. Didnt take long to find the sneaky little one. Photo proof as I was nearby penless for lunch with my geo nephew. Tftc
Day 3 of our adventure around Penrith.
fitzy_1965 and I continued our jaunt around the area with our friends from Canberra. Signed all logs as CDI23 unless otherwise mentioned.
Today's target was the pre-solved PGA series and others along the way before heading home. The puzzles were enjoyable but some had us scratching our heads too.
After splitting to find our own ways home, fitzy_1965 and I deviated to the Blue Mountains LGA. One that has eluded me for a while.
Now heading home, we took the scenic route back through Warragamba, Picton etc due to a fatally on the highway

30,177. Found during an invasion of the 'Bargo up to Penrith' region on the Canberra Day long weekend with a great bunch of Cachers.
With the Canberra Day long weekend upon us, a number of Canberra region Cachers performed an invasion of the Bargo up to Penrith area. Canberra Day Invasion 2023 (signed as CDI23) consisted of minniek, Joolay, Kittykatch, isopeda, barb2e, albida33, smittengranny and myself. Day 3. An early-ish start soon had us on the road grabbing more caches. Once we had finished the PGA series, we started to head home. We stopped for this one while heading south, and this was a quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache as found, then headed off to the next one on the list.
Thanks The Booos !! I'm pretty sure I DNFed this one a few years ago.

Finalf29 gave up a day of wargaming to go caching with me... thank you my bestest ever bud, you are a definite keeper
IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE POLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OK, where do I start? Sometimes you just shouldn't look at the Difficulty rating and read the activity logs as you go towards the next cache... hmmm... D3 and lots of comments about hard-to-find, DNFs and needing a hint from CO. Well we hopped out of the car thinking this is going to be a "The Booos" tricky. Then I saw something unusual hanging high up the pole and called Finalf29 to help extract this thing... squid catcher was employed and we got it out so far but then it wouldn't move any more, either up or down. By this stage, we had attracted the attention of the people across the road and ended up having to explain Geocaching to an interested but very amused muggle. Meanwhile, I contacted the COs with a photo and apologised because I thought I had broken their cache... thankfully a quick reply back... WHAT!! OMG!! NO!! IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE POLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then I have no idea what we were mucking around with. Turned and soon had the sneaky cache in hand. I couldn't sign, replace it and be outta there quick enough. We can laugh about it now... so I'm giving FP. Thanks for the unintentional adventure

Another sneaky hide from The Booos!
We have been enjoying our visit this area very much and have loved being guided by Geocaching to take us to interesting places and to see new things.
We would have loved to see this house in all its former glory. It must have been quite spectacular.
Thanks for the history and the hide.

Out caching with oldmorty attending a Community Celebration Event held by The Booos, finding the remaining Booo Booo GFA series caches and others.
I picked up the cache without realising it. Eventually found on a further, more thorough search.
Log replaced as it was in pieces.
Thanks to The Booos for placing the cache.

Sneaky sneaky little hide. Almost gave up to go get breaky when one of the team spotted it. Tftc
Found on a caching day out with Dan of SueDan83.
Dan was the one who spotted this simple but effective camo, and even though he'd found it previously, it was different to what he remembered.
I always enjoy the history lesson with this series.

After the GCNSW event at Western Sydney Parklands, a number of us decided to head over to Luddenham way to grab the GFA series of caches. Our convoy of geo-mobiles soon made a beeline for the bakery where we had a tasty lunch before splitting up into smaller groups. I joined Its_Dozzie and Wilbert67 and off we went. Another traditional found on the way to the last few GFA series of caches. Well this one could have easily been missed due to great camo. Just managed to spot something that was worth investigating and there it was. Nice one! I've always wanted to stop here and check out these eateries, perhaps another time! TFTC!

After attending the Geocaching NSW event, a small group of geocahcing enthusiasts headed out west for a selection of caches around Liddenham.
I teamed up with Wilbert67 and Meritonnn for a drive around Liddenham for GFA1 to GFA 10, mingled with a few traditionals.

What a great find to start a caching trip. I’ve been meaning to get out and get the points for the last mountain in Reach The Peak for a few weeks but constant forecasts of rain put me off. The last few days have heavy rains but delivered clouds so I decided this slightly nicer forecast day would have to do. So far it’s already steadily raining. But it’s no monsoon so it should be fine.
The nearby café used to be a favourite of my wife’s family so I would periodically try for this cache, at the busy times when we came for lunch. In the early morning dark and rain today turned out to be a much better time and I found the cache in the first place I looked, though how I’ve not looked there before I don’t know.

The last for the day before heading home. Made an unexpectedly quick find of a clever hide.

We have travelled from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to Emu Plains for a short 3 day caching holiday, staying in a park cabin at the Ingenia Nepean River BIG4 Holiday Park at Emu Plains, and are planning to explore the areas between Penrith and Warragamba, including a stop-off on arrival day at St Marys. Hoping to collect some previously solved Puzzle caches and to also complete the Adventure Labs at St Marys, Penrith and Warragamba. Will also be on the hunt for Natural Wonders and Solar System Wonders, to complete the Wonders of the World souvenir challenge.
Today we headed out to Warragamba for the Adventure Lab and the cluster of Traditional caches, then cached around Wallacia and back along Mulgoa Road to Mulgoa. This was our 27th find of the day, and 49th find of the holiday.
A reasonably quick find, after inspecting & dismissing some of the more typical hiding spots. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC The Booos.

Time for another day chasing mint tins with marj01. With a predawn start we headed from the eastern suburbs out west to Penrith. We started caching at Wallacia and made our way north through the suburbs to Jordan Springs. We had lots of finds which included trads, multis and mysteries; also some dnfs that were too well hidden for us to find or weren't there. I lost count on the number of mint tins found but there certainly wasn't an oversupply. Thanks to all the CO's for placing their caches and TFTC
Hi there The Booos. After some household chores this morning we came out caching in the afternoon. We are currently in the caravan park in Wallacia (not recommended) for the next few days. This cache and log are in good condition. SL. Thanks to The Booos for this cache - our find #6550.

OCW the Bebes for favourite point search. This was found quickly but a bit by chance and a really sneaky hide. First time I have seen this and made us chuckle!! Tftc
House/dogsitting near Oran Park for a bit, figured I was close enough to tick off a few nemesis or random hides on a leisurely drive, rather than a specific trip from home or allowing myself enough time to detour when passing on my way to visit family. Timing today on this was one was particularly fortuitous, as not only did I get the smiley, I claimed 453 days UFT a lot quicker when the CO happened to drive by, recognised me and stopped to provide an extra hint. Thanks Booos and hope all went well at the dentist.
2nd DNF for the day . Spent 30minutes looking and nothing. I had noticed that the cache was moved. I’ll be back another time.
Cheers dkmacca

Very tricky one. Bit of a good design effort. Worthy of a favourite point. Have not seen one of there for quite a while. Needs a bit of maintenance as old logs need tweezering out. Started a new log. Many thanks to the CO **The Booos** for establishing and maintaining another local cache for the rest of us to enjoy, see and visit new places with a hunt in mind.

This is one cache that deserves its difficulty rating and it took us a bit of time to find it. Loved the tricky hide and the great camo and were happy to be able to find it without a hint. The log is mush so it could not be signed. It was replaced carefully when we were finished. Thanks for this hide go to The Booos. It also gets a favourite point from us.
I was on a mission today to collect some missing dates for my "hidden on a particular calendar day" challenge/ I did pick up a few extras on my way between them too.
Oh that was sneaky. Needed a hint from a previous finder. Log completely saturated unable to sign. Please accept photo log. Sorry I didn't have another to replace it. TFTC
Went into the cafe afterwards - soup was good - coffee not so good!

Very clever hide. GPS is excellent but needs a bit of thought to find it. Thanks for the effort to challenge us.
Feeling confident in the dark although going of previous logs I wondered what our luck would be.. GPS was jumpy and kept circling back to an area that seemed common sense but was guarded by a massive huntsman the size of my hand- well almost! still couldn't find but went off a hunch after looking at surroundings close by, seemed logically and Id worked out the camo. I guided Geo son where to look and he made the grab . Bingo! one of the negatives to night caching is the spiders!
Looking at the previous comments we were worried about finding this in the dark, especially with the gps being very undecided. A few fruitless minutes saw Jake and Pitman Clan widen the net and then Jake had it in hand! TFTC

Out for a day of caching with pk1965 and AlphaDeltaIndigo while on a trip to Sydney for work. The aim of the day was a particular D5 T5 cache, and a few others along the way to help us all out with our Fizzy grids. I managed to fill in two extra Fizzy spots, and picked up my third D5 T5, so all in all a very successful outing.
As noted by my companions, we had a bit of help with this one. TFTC The Booos!

13/11/16. 9:19 AM. Cache #4395.
7th of 12 finds (& 1 DNF) today - Glenmore Park & Mulgoa.
Continued south from "A Song By The Hollies". Hmmm, quite a few options around here... This one took several goes, looking in things both man-made and natural. In the end, I picked something up, hoping to see the cache beneath it. A split-second of disappointment when it wasn't there, before I realised the item I'd been trying to get out of the way was part of the cache!
Signed log and replaced it as found. I decided to stop my progress south, as "Mulgoa Irrigation" is currently disabled and after that was getting me into Wallacia probably. Plenty more caches to go for to my north-east, so I headed to "PipeLine # 1" next. TFTC.
