Due to my congenital ducks disease, backside too close to the ground, I might have been close to the cache but I am not in the habit of carrying ladders on the roof rack.
Slightly annoying, the 2 gps devices definitely wanted us to be very close to the 2 signs, but no signs of cache, and the hint was no help. Sorry to grizzle.
This morning I was on a road trip from Whitfield to Wang
The sight of this cache on me road map somewhere to the west of Moyhu was enough to make me take the detour to Greta
And as the last finder said .... "Classic" [^]

Heading towards Wangaratta, locating a few caches on the way.
A quick park and grab, for this well placed cache.
Many thanks for placing this cache, mvyrmnd, for us and others to find.

So many roads leading to Greta, we took the right one to find Ned's Rest then found this one as a bonus. Next time we will see if we can find others in this series. Thanks for the cache
One of 21 caches found today during a big three day cache run, up to and around Kelly country which included Benalla, Tolmie, Beechworth and Glenrowan. A great three days spent exploring and discovering with a fantastic group of fellow cachers, which we collectively called ourselves 'The Kelly Gang'.
Jacko83 had jumped in the car with me to find a few caches as we made our way to Greta. We made a short detour to grab a few caches before meeting up the the rest of the gang. A stretch and a find. Thanks for the cache.

This one has been sitting on my map for what feels like forever.
Not an area I regularly venture to so took the opportunity to purposely make time time to be here and find a couple that are a bit out of the way.
Had to rush to grab the container as I could hear a approaching car, managed to grab it and just back into car with it in time not to be seen.
Nicely done , TFTC, Cheers.

Took the day off work to make it a extra long weekend. Decided at last minute to do an afternoon cache cleanup near home. This was the 15th of 16, on the road back to Benalla now - a quick drive by, a very nice cache mvyrmnd.
A quick find with emily63 and geokids. Logbook was full do added some extra sheets. Might need a bit of a clean out by CO.
Ah, luckily I have seen a cache like this before, so was able easily get it! Found with taurus1955 and BentleyTB. TFTC
A really sneaky cache hidden in an unexpected place even though the co-ords are spot on. misschief18 easily had this one in hand

Walked up to GZ with Yowie on a beaut sunny spring day, found it the first place I looked. Might copy this design at some point.

Looked around a bit, tried something on the spur of the moment and had the cache in hand. Unfortunately, as I was signing the log, I didn't notice the two muggles walking down the road. So, being sprung, as I was, I introduced them to the game. TFTC
Have been meaning to get this for a while as i was one of the first ones to get to the original hide just as it became lost down the back of a tree so it was good to get this one done!!
Thanks again mvyrmnd

Down in Wang today for a change of scenery and a few caches. We came out the road for another and decided to grab this one while here. We made a quick find and spent some time admiring the sunset over the nearby field before heading back to town.

The Labour Day long weekend gives me the opportunity to head up to Lima South to stay with friends and to get some caching done in northern Victoria and southern New South Wales. Starting early in the morning I had a great day collecting smilies, eating the occasional sticky bun, and working it off hiking the hills. It was well after dark when I returned with a parched throat that was soon Quenched. thanks to all the CO's who placed caches that I collected today. Thanks.
We were in town to try to find another cache nearby and only happened past this one when we miscalculated a coordinate. It's great to have an incidental find. Thanks for hte cache.
Sorry about the late logging on this cache, I lost my cache notes, and with the help of blacklegend, now know which finds I made.
Found on a day out caching with Blacklegend and Sportacuss. TFTC and the experience.

Another local run, BL on a cleanup mission.... Caching with Poynts95 and Mr.David for the day, and a couple of the little kiddies, Marindah 5yo and Natasha 3yo. Had a great day, and collected just under 20 finds from memory, on a loop that took almost 500kms to complete, heading past the Warbys, Benalla, Greta, then into Wangaratta and finally home.
Predicted the hide location driving up, but was impressed with the quality of the hide. Nicely done. TFTC.

I had done No.1 a long time ago, but hadn't got around to the others. We did a long detour to Benalla for lunch today, and came via these two caches.
A quick find exactly where the GPSr pointed.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 2837. As Robmc had to head back to Melbourne this afternoon we decided to take two cars and try to find a couple of new caches and a couple of outstanding ones between Greta and Benalla. Having visited Ned at Greta we continued along Greta Road torwards Benalla - it is a long, long road. Hopped out of the cars and zeroed in very quickly on the hide. And - yes it was an easy find!! Signed and onwards to # 3. TFTC

12.55 Out and about with 80 degrees for a dancing/caching weekend and now on our way home. This was number thirteen on our list for the day. Road was not busy but we pulled of to the side road just in case. While the rest of us was on one side of the road Mr X was on the other side with a quick retrieve.
Good, nice easy find. Don't let the rating worry you, I would give it a rating of 1.5 and 1.5.
Thanks mvyrmnd for the cache.

Found at 12.55pm as we headed in a homeward direction after a great weekend of caching and dancing with the xambo4u team. This find was far easier than the rating and terain suggested and MrX quickly had it in hand. TFTC

Find # 1597
Today was day three of a massive adventure weekend caching in the Albury Wadonga region as well as incorporating the OZ Mega event. I would be spending most of my time with Team Kwokka (Brother and Sister in Law) as well as my caching mate and partner in crime, SedgwickDave
Today we were aiming to complete two power trails, having completed Spirit of Salts, we started to head back towards Wangaratta via a short diversion to start on The Gourmet Run Series.
Another quick driveby on the way past. TNLN.
Thanks to mvyrmnd for the cache.

Found this one as part of our trip to the 2012 Oz Mega in Albury. Nice quick find, we parked across the road and crossed safely. Without too many places to look we soon had the cache in hand. TFTC.

#2504 Our last cache for the day before heading home. A nicely concealed container with good co-ords! Thanks mvyrmnd, not as much water around these parts today, we saw and drove through lots in some areas.
Must have driven past this one a dozen times in the past, either heading for Dads block at Myrrhee or somewhere out here for work, each time without the GPS. Today we were again headed to Dads place but I deliberately grabbed the GPS this time with these two caches in mind.
Thanks mvyrmnd
Thanks mvyrmnd
Nice quick find ......absolutely liked the set up.....Geo-Gf was rather surprised to see me retrieve the cache so quickly and smartly

On our way back to Wangaratta after doing the series in the country...easy find by Ms Bushies2...took a pathtag Thanks mvyrmnd.
Found this reasonably quickly on the way between Glenrowan and the Spirit of salts series. Thanks for the cache.
Mrs Harrowang wondered why Mr Harrowang was so late home from work tonight - he was just making sure we logged a cache today! Good to see this one up and running again. First to sign the re-sited cache log. Great hide [^] - should be safe this time. TFTC mvyrmnd - thanks for highlighting a few spots along the road to Greta.

Went to repair cache today. The cache has permanently disappeared into a sink hole. I spoke to a local who informed me the tree was to be pulled down soon anyway.
I will re-locate the cache over the weekend.

Alas this one eluded us in the dark tonight. We'll have to come back in the daylight and hopefully be able to put a smiley face on this one.
I've been told that there's an issue with this cache, and it may already be unable to be retrieved. I'll pay a visit ASAP and confirm/repair any issues.
On a lazy day off, kicking back at home when the alert went off for three new ones down Wang way.
It was a long shot for a chance of the FTFs as we new the Dreamer would be on the case pretty quick - not to mention Tatboy who is keen as for his first FTF.
We thought we may as well have a go as there were others in the area that were on our to do list anyway. Upon arriving at GZ we were struggling big time to grab the cache,Lostmonster could touch it but not grab it, after a short time of selecting the right length stick to help drag is up the cache was retrived and the log book was signed, alas, as we thought might be the case no FTF, beaten to this one by the Dreamer.
Well done on the FTF Purpledreamer, and thanks to mvyrmnd for the breaking the chors at home, thanks for the cache.

FTF Yipee!!
After grabbing a FTF at The Road to Greta #1 I headed of quickly for this cache.Spotted a likely hidey hole on approach, this cache proved a little difficult to retreive. It fell down as soon as I placed my hand on it and I really thought it was gone it took way to long trying to fish it out but in the end retreived it packed the hole hard with a base of logs and sticks before replacing the cache, but apparently according to the next finders it still wanted to go to ground doing a similar thing to them lol.
Lovely area out this way,a place I havent been.
