Log waterlogged and cache had 5mm of water in it, log put in plastic bag and cache emptied. Probably needs a new log.
TFTC, Log wet and 5mm or so water in bottom of cache. Drained it and put log which is sodden into a plastic freezer bag, only bag I had. Will post a needs maintenance post.
Finally down from Mount Bellevue and "Pilots Peak" cache and now trying to get back home but, dammit, caches just keep popping up on our radar. Sigh. A late night me thinks! [|)]

Out for a big day of caching on a brisk winters day with fellow cachers Biggles of OZ and Mrs Biggles. Another nice easy find for the day, number 7. Although it was now dark we were unable to see much of the surrounds. TFTC TNLN
Found although now getting darker, having a good day caching with Mr Mrs Pooky.

Dropped by to find a very very wet cache . Helped out with large silica satchel, hope it drys the logbook. Most amazing scrapyard across the road
Found as part of our High Country trip with mum and dad from TWDG and Locus cache and GPS. Was a great few days of beautiful country in a part of Vic I was yet to explore much of! Definitely be back soon!

At the last moment, I received time off of work in order to head over to do the High Voltage 101 power trail and spend time 4WDing in the amazing and wonderful Victorian high country
GPS, thewhitedoggang and Princess Consuela were my travelling companions and great company they were, too [^]
All up, over 6 days, 161 caches were found with only 2 DNFs (one of which we later realised was already disabled )
Also, during our High Voltage experience, I hit my 8,000th cache find
This was the only cache of this series which we found but find it we did
Thanks for the chance to stop and stretch our legs, maybe one day I can come back to this area and get the rest of the series.

Whizzed past this one and had to make a U turn. Quick, easy fine. Part of the log book is wet, but unfortunately, we didn't have time to dry it out.
Travelled from SA to do some High Country trails with The White Dog Gang, Princess Consuela and Locus Cache. We all had a great time.
Thanks mvyrmnd for the cache, the laughs and the adventure.

After waiting for the GPS to settle this was a nice easy find. Long grass was a bit sketchy though due to the warmer weather. TFTC!

A big group of us travelled from Geelong to Kelly country for several days of history-related caching.
I stopped here, searched for a while but unfortunately it eluded me today.
Thanks for the hunt.

One of 21 caches found today during a big three day cache run, up to and around Kelly country which included Benalla, Tolmie, Beechworth and Glenrowan. A great three days spent exploring and discovering with a fantastic group of fellow cachers, which we collectively called ourselves 'The Kelly Gang'.
Jacko83 had jumped in the car with me to find a few caches as we made our way to Greta. We made a short detour to grab a few caches before meeting up the the rest of the gang. A nice quick stop and find in this quiet location. Thanks for the cache.

Down in Benalla area cleaning up on a few caches. Just love driving through the hills as it is as flat as where we live. TFTC
Took the day off work to make it a extra long weekend. Decided at last minute to do an afternoon cache cleanup near home. This was the last of 16, nice easy find after a muggle who was clearly lost kept driving around in circles near gz before finally settling on heading towards Greta..... tftc.
I hadn't meant to look for this one but I ended up coming this way to I did. An easy find once I looked in the right spot!
A quick find with emily63 and geokids. Took pencils, left matchbox dump truck. Nice to find this one when visiting family not too far away.
TFTC very close to home don't know why we hadn't done it sooner.! Took nail Polish loved it thx
Lush, green grass near this one. I don't like that on warm, sunny days like today. It was a quick retrieval of the cache, then back to the car for me. Found with taurus1955 and BentleyTB. TFTC
Another nice easy drive by cache - or, it would have been except for the long grass. Lost Bentley Geo-pup as the grass was thick and well over his head

Having a lovely morning driving these rural roads and finding the occasional cache. TFTC mvyrmnd
Came at this one from the wrong side and found it easily. Took a beer bottle cap and a Ruger .204 rifle shell and filled the container with some more kid friendly items. TFTC
The Labour Day long weekend gives me the opportunity to head up to Lima South to stay with friends and to get some caching done in northern Victoria and southern New South Wales. Starting early in the morning I had a great day collecting smilies, eating the occasional sticky bun, and working it off hiking the hills. It was well after dark when I returned with a parched throat that was soon Quenched. thanks to all the CO's who placed caches that I collected today. Thanks.
Sorry about the late logging on this cache, I lost my cache notes, and with the help of blacklegend, now know which finds I made.
Found on a day out caching with Blacklegend and Sportacuss. TFTC and the experience.

Another local run, BL on a cleanup mission.... Caching with Poynts95 and Mr.David for the day, and a couple of the little kiddies, Marindah 5yo and Natasha 3yo. Had a great day, and collected just under 20 finds from memory, on a loop that took almost 500kms to complete, heading past the Warbys, Benalla, Greta, then into Wangaratta and finally home.
Nice little spot here for this one. Love these back road finds. A cache I have had my eye on for a while. TFTC.

After grabbing No.2 we swung past for No.3. Our GPSrs weren't as accurate for this one, but its size gave it all away. Bettyboo had her hands upon it in no time.
Thanks for the series, Robmc.
Thanks for the series, Robmc.
# 2838. As Robmc had to head back to Melbourne this afternoon we decided to take two cars and try to find a couple of new caches and a couple of outstanding ones between Greta and Benalla. We hit road works signs about here but there was no-one about today. Rob's GPS and mine were disagreeing again but both were a bit wobbly at GZ. I always think parallel twigs and bark are a dead giveway and so the hide was found quickly. Took: Nothing, Left: Small Dragon TB that has been languishing in Casterton for 6 months or more. TFTC

Not sure whether missing this cache was due to our lack of skill or what appears to be recent works at the site. It appears to be a mixture of grading and tree trimming efforts.
Might be worth a check.

While attending the OzMega with ahomburg & Kwokka this was one of many caches found over the long weekend with 101 in total found. Today was the biggest single day with 42 found.
Had found #2 in the Road to Greta series 2 days ago. Was good to be passing by to find another in the series. A quick find.

Find # 1596
Today was day three of a massive adventure weekend caching in the Albury Wadonga region as well as incorporating the OZ Mega event. I would be spending most of my time with Team Kwokka (Brother and Sister in Law) as well as my caching mate and partner in crime, SedgwickDave
Today we were aiming to complete two power trails, having completed Spirit of Salts, we started to head back towards Wangaratta via a short diversion to start on The Gourmet Run Series.
A quick driveby on the way past. TNLN.
Thanks to mvyrmnd for the cache.

#2503 We had a huge day in the district and beyond so thought we'd finish by heading through Greta to grab the two caches there. There was a car parked nearby to GZ but it was empty so Dad could locate the nicely sized cache without too much issue. We took the Geocoin to keep it moving as the cache hasn't had much traffic through. Thanks mvyrmnd for a pit stop on the way home. Cheers
Finally having the opportunity to grab a long weekend away we decided to try and clean up a few caches in Albury and surrounding areas hoping to allow for more socializing at the upcoming mega event. We were slowly working our way south zig zagging our way from cache to cache. We were quite hungry by now but the old" just one more before tea" kicked in and we found ourselves in these nice gardens. We guessed where the cache maybe but had to wait for a muggle with a baby in a pram to slowly wander passed before we could confirm our suspicions and we were soon signing the log. Now it's definitely time to find something to eat
Thanks myvmrdd for the cache

At last this one is off the list too. Nearly bought a block right near here many years back. Was outbid at the auction but with hindsight I wish I'd gone after it a bit harder. Anyway it's water under the bridge now.
Dropped a coin here which I've had for way too long. Maybe I should have placed it closer to the highway to give it more chance of moving but it's done anyway.
Thanks again mvyrmnd

I have been wanting to do the Greta 1,2&3 series for a while now and finally the opportunity came a knocking.. Made a quick find in what I thought was a well cammoed hide

On our way back to Wangaratta after doing the series in the country...easy find by Mr Bushies2. Thanks mvyrmnd.
Reperio at 1340. It's been a couple of years since I've been out this way, so it was nice to revisit the area and pick up a few caches. Stopped by here on the way back to Wangaratta, and at first, wondered if I would have to go digging for the cache with so much earth moving going on around GZ, but as it was, the cache was soon spotted completely uncovered, so just placed a few sticks over to limit it's exposure.
Gratias.

Found on a night run on a week night at about 8.25pm. Have driven past this spot many times over the years and visited friends along each of the roads at this junction. It was a 'spur of the moment' decision to go looking for these along Greta Road so no swaps to add to the decent sized cache container. SL - no traffic lights to blind us here tonight. TFTC mvyrmnd
On a lazy day off, kicking back at home when the alert went off for three new ones down Wang way.
It was a long shot for a chance of the FTFs as we new the Dreamer would be on the case pretty quick - not to mention Tattboy who is keen as for his first FTF.
We thought we may as well have a go as there were others in the area that were on our to do list anyway.
After seeing the log at #1 of the series signed by Purpledreamer we knew it was even a longer shot for the FTF at #3. We were about 4.8Kays from GZ when we passed the Purple Geocaching machine of Purpledreamer going the other way, a quick flash of lights and a wave as we passed each other. Then the message came in LOL PD.
Well done Purpledreamer on the FTF.
Thanks to mvyrmnd for the cache.

Passed Lostmonster&Co on the way back into town new they wouldnt be far behind and had wondered if Tattboy would give the FTF a go which I see he did.
