Liked the themed cache container! Another in a series reminding us of the former use of this bit of land. Interesting.
For my last day in Dunback I decide3d to try for the caches West and East of here. There are some old and new posts here. Take your pick, you may be right.Cheers for the cache, Big smoke.

with annielin and dsi. nice to be exploring the area that i've not been in before. tftc
A couple of years ago we couldn't find this cache, despite looking at the posts. This time it was a simple find. Thanks for the placement
Interesting history of the railway. The site is pretty overgrown and quite a few thistles. Wear long trousers....
You must have a real passion about old railways..thanks for the history.
But today this one has gone astray I don't see any reason why.
But no luck today ..dangerous places to stop

Last cache for the day after a day of caching and exploring the regionwith Flamingo4850. Delighted to find this cute little cache, ending our day with a toot toot. A fav vote from me for the cache container. TFTC.
Went out today with the aim of changing green boxes on the map to yellow, but unfortunately a few blue popped up too. Most of our finds were nice and simple, but a few took a bit of time.

TFTac!! Not keen on reaching into the Choo Choo to get the log book out, a spider did an awesome work there...
Headed to Naseby for a weekend of caching. Awesome weekend for this!! TFTC
Thanks a dot day for me today and have had a night away in Naseby so picking this up on the way home.
A day trip out this way to clean up a few caches. Such great country we have around us. I forget how lucky we are to be so close to it. TFTC
A little bit of a dangerous location road- wise. No safe parking by the cache site so have to walk along main highway. Very long grass with uneven ground and big holes in it. Need to walk along road side so not child friendly cache. It is still accessible but just take care.
Not in the first placed I looked but when I did find it I found a very cute cache container. TFTC # 11,471
The container for this one earns a favourite from me. Lots of geotrails to follow, but only the last one I tried led me to GZ. (Isn't that always the way ... you find it in the last place you looked ... because that is when you stop looking).
Thanks for placing the cache.

Found with StreetWalkerNZ on day 7 of our road trip to the Oamaru Geofest, taking the scenic route, of course. Today we are travelling from Dunedin to Oamaru, via Middlemarch.
We were a bit confused about the 2 previous logs as both a DNF and a find was logged by the same cacher. Can report all is good with the cache. TFTC.

Really liked the container!
Easy find once we were looking in the right place.

Quick stop on our way to Clyde for the long weekend via the Pigroot. Easy find. TFTC
Quick daytrip to Omakau with Mum for a funeral. Midafternoon and time to head back to Christchurch. Just a smidge of spare time for a cache or two on the way back. Quick find. Thanks.
Nice container. Bit wet on inside but log book is still dry. We angled it a different way to drain water off
We searched a few hint objects but didn't manage to find the cache. There was lots of long grass with barbed wire in it so we didn't want to fossick around too much.
After watching the all blacks win the world cup, my muggle friends and I were buzzing and as it was a nice day we decided to go to St Bathans via the pig route as a fun road trip to get some sun and take advantage of this long day.
Nice container. I wonder if the "inch" in the name has anything to do with Island. Are there lots of Islands in the river? Inch is the gaelic word for Island. I grew up on Inch Clutha, an Island in the Clutha River.
Thanks to all the owners of the geocaches that we found today on our way from Naseby to Ranfurly, Palmerston and Moeraki. We had a beautiful day with a lot of found caches!
TFTC and greetings from Belgium.

Tftc. I just love the container. It was so cool to come across something different and so suited to the name.
Road works in this area, but no road worker muggles this morning.
+ a marble, - nothing.

Day 3 of our 5 Day end of year geocaching trip. Today was our biggest day with 75finds and 4DNFs with most of them being park and grabs. A quick cute find here. A TB was clogging up the hole so we took it to move on. Sorry for the late log but Thanks for the cache [purple]Our cache find: #3258[/purple] | [green]Cache of the Day: 30/75[/green] | [blue]Cache of our trip: 97/235[/blue]

13320… Cool container, thanks for showing us where the Inch Valley Station was once nearby, TFTC.
Found on an afternoon heading home from Central with the intention to do as many as I can before it rains but as I did this my 22nd for the afternoon it started to rain.
Found as Granville86a and I Inched our way home after a geocaching adventure weekend, TFTC!
A quick find. Had an extremely sore foot last time I had a 5 second look, see log for bungy jumping cache up the road.
Initially looked at the wrong hint object but the teen was a bit more clued up and made the find, but then the themed container is more to his liking Found with Aoraki Sheep.
Sneaked in and grabbed this while others were looking in the wrong area. Found with debsnz
Was in Dunedin to attended the first ever Mega in New Zealand. Managed to work it out so that I was able to team up with -gonefishing-, fozzmiester and agcnz on an 8 day caching trip around the South Island, this was day 6 of the road trip. Today we were leaving Dunedin region and making our way to Oamaru for the night and picking up a few caches on our way.
After finding GC2CJQZ - Lone Gate ( East Otago ), this was the next cache that was on our list that we wanted to find today. We decided that we would take a small detour via SH85 and go inland and take a different route towards Oamaru.
Making our way along SH85 Palmerston - Dunback Road. We neared GZ and we managed to find a parking spot not too far away from the cache and from there we made our way to the cache. Reading the hint we soon realised where the cache was going to be and decided to trust our GPS to guide us close to GZ, and from there this was a quick and easy retrieval, signed and replaced the cache back as found.
Thanks Big smoke for placing this cache here and for bringing us to this spot, TFTC TNLNSL (5169). Another very interesting and historical Dunback Branch line series cache.

Found as part of an epic NZ Mega Event trip. Day 6 - Dunedin to Oamaru via Ranfurly and Dansey's Pass with agcnz, -gonefishing- and Yeetrees. Thanks to the owners of the 500 + caches which I had the pleasure to find along the way and which contributed to a very fun trip.

Found on the great post-Mega roadtrip with agcnz, fozzmiester and yeetrees. A great trip from Otago to Wellington, taking in many backroads and some fantastic scenery along to way to over 400 caches. Thanks to all the cache owners for the great caches we found on the way.
Thanks for the cache, Big smoke.
