I am archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.
Hi Big smokeThis geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived. Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.RegardsTheCoddiwompler
This cache needs to be archived as there have been 3 DNFs and there is no safe parking on the side of a State Highway.
Out on a roadie with Natatalie247 to Middlemarch doing a loop round trip. Out with Natalie247 to hunt a few caches and help with a maintenance run. Natalie found this one as I was a bit overwhelmed. Cache cleaned out and dried and a fresh log to keep this going. TFTC Big smoke
A quick park and grab. On a roadie along the pigroot central, and wherever it takes me tftc
Went out today with the aim of changing green boxes on the map to yellow, but unfortunately a few blue popped up too. Most of our finds were nice and simple, but a few took a bit of time.
Pulled off the road and went straight to the cache. Container had a bit of water in it which was emptied out but logbook was ok to sign. tftc

After reading the hint a sense of dread washed over me as I'm not a fan. In the end, I was happy, as it was an easy find. Some water in the container but the logbook had dried out. Emptied the water. TFTC
On a road trip down south Mainly getting TMGTs and high favourites. Having lots of fun and seeing lots of places. Thanks to all the COs for some great caches TFTC. Needs maintenance
On a mi ssion in the south island with a few of the team from the BOP grabbing the TMGT caches and a few older caches along the way.

Log was saturated.
I am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these cache. Many Thanks for bringing me here. Cheers.

I was a little worried that this might take a while but it turned out to be a quick find. Container had plenty of water which I tipped out. My pen managed to write on the newer piece of paper.
We are not fans of flax bush caches - you are probably looking down on us and having a good laugh Bigsmoke! But this one proved to be a very quick and easy find. Phew
I've driven past this cache so many times but as it is a massive flax, I've always just kept on driving! Well, not today. We stopped, I said to 4Clubs I would give it 5 minutes and no more. I had it in my hand in 5 seconds! Phew what an easy flax-bush cache. If all flax caches were like this one, it would be great!! TFTC
The Biker gang were in force at the local making me a tad apprehensive...luckily they were going the other direction...then one of my favorite caches (not) a flax bush yuk ...lucky it was straight forward tftc Big smoke
Pulled over here and I had to make it quickly. I was uncomfortable as we had just past a large group of highly tattooed and regalia bikies. I am not at all keen on flax hides but thankfully this was a simple hide. Thanks for the cache Big Smoke
Headed to Naseby for a weekend of caching. Awesome weekend for this!! TFTC
After a great night in omakau celebrating a good friends 50th birthday .it was time to head home ,with time to spare so let's tidy up the pig root .
Finally made the effort to stop for this one as I'm usually zipping passed ..cache was a quick find tftc

Out and about on an other csching trip to get to 3000 finds before the end of the year. You can really see how high the water was after the rain we had over the few days. The cache was hgh and dry tho. TFTC
Staying in Waimate for the week for personal reasons, I decided that I would get up early this morning and go for a short drive as there was a FTF going at Naseby and it wasnt too far away from where I was staying as the crow flies, but just a little bit more for driving.
After finding GC7GKH7 - Z4AA F D Bell it was time to continue on my way back to Waimate. As I was coming into Dunback, I saw this cache pop up on my GPSr and decided that since I still had a few minutes spare I would stop and check out this cache.
I was able to find a safe parking spot across the road from GZ and not too far from the cache within 10 metres and as I got out of the car. Once I made my way to GZ I worked out where the cache was going to be the hint was so obvious.
Managed to retrieve the cache, signed and then replaced the cache back where I found it. Thanks Big smoke for placing this cache here and for bringing me to this spot TFTC TNLNSL (13876). The container was full of water, emptied and tried to dry the contents as best as I could. Added a new waterproof logsheet for the interim period.
Now it is time to continue my way back to the my accommodation as I am Mrs Yeetrees urber and I really dont want to leave her stranded.

Nice easy find. Must say we must look a bit strange wandering along the road from the park by the digger.tftc
Final stage of wee road trip today - we’re taking the pig route - last stop for the day. TFTC #54
My notes say this was clearly evident - I think that means the remnants of the station but it could also mean that even though this isn't my favourite searching place the cache was found quickly as it was also clearly evident. However the ditch that I narrowly managed to avoid wasn't. All good thanks Big Smoke. TFTC # 11,474
Aaargh I thought when I saw GZ. I hate flax! Reading the previous logs showed that I would be contending not only with flax but also a water hazard. I almost just rode by because it had been a long day. Maybe that is why the geocaching gods saw fit to reward me with a quick find. Maybe flax isn't so bad after all. Thanks for placing this cache (and choosing a container that was easy to spot once you were looking at the right angle).
Found in the way home from oamaru geofest. Weather miserable today but that doesn't stop team RowenaD, flip NZ and myself.
On the way home from Geofest on a wet day. Not a great day for geocaching but can't resist finding a few on the way.
#14734. It was interesting to look for traces of the old rail line was we traveled down to Palmerston. TFTC.
Found with StreetWalkerNZ on day 7 of our road trip to the Oamaru Geofest, taking the scenic route, of course. Today we are travelling from Dunedin to Oamaru, via Middlemarch.
Looks like the old rail line would have been a great cycle trail but I suppose that won't happen now. TFTC.

Quick stop on our way to Clyde for the long weekend via the Pigroot. Easy find. TFTC
Quick daytrip to Omakau with Mum for a funeral. Midafternoon and time to head back to Christchurch. Just a smidge of spare time for a cache or two on the way back. Quick find. Thanks.
12.15pm. Always interested in old abandoned railway lines. What a pity we let them disappear. Thought we may have been in for a long search here - often are in flax. But no the cache was soon in hand.

Easy find, husband went first and dropped into a trench, he's not loving the caching as much as me! :') lol TFTC
After watching the all blacks win the world cup, my muggle friends and I were buzzing and as it was a nice day we decided to go to St Bathans via the pig route as a fun road trip to get some sun and take advantage of this long day.
Heading out of Queenstown to our new destination, Akaroa, and stopped here for muggle hubby to grab a bit of internet reception before we got out of range again. And lo and behold there was cache just 30m away. It was a quick find, but the contents were quite wet. Dried out as best I could but had no log replacement, sorry.
Thanks for the cache Big smoke.

Thanks to all the owners of the geocaches that we found today on our way from Naseby to Ranfurly, Palmerston and Moeraki. We had a beautiful day with a lot of found caches!

This is not our favourite plant but the cache was easily found.

Day 3 of our 5 Day end of year geocaching trip. Today was our biggest day with 75finds and 4DNFs with most of them being park and grabs. A quick find here that we nearly drove past, I was looking for the station. There was abit of water in the container but the log was alright. Sorry for the late log but Thanks for the cache [purple]Our cache find: #3256[/purple] | [green]Cache of the Day: 28/75[/green] | [blue]Cache of our trip: 95/235[/blue]
Stayed overnight at the domain and did the loop walk over the swing bridge. Some nice trout in the pool below it.
Who would have thought, the amount of times I was up here as a youngster, that cache #400 would be pretty much outside my relatives house. Small world much TFTC:)
We enjoyed the day caching in this area
Tftfun
So many caches done to remember all, but got a kick out of all that we found

Found on an afternoon heading home from Central with the intention to do as many as I can before it rains.
finally got this one sorted not sure what happened the last time, could not find then and now just waked straight to it... TFTC!!!
Oh no, THAT plant. Found in 5 seconds. Amazing amour of money spent on railways that were never going to be sustainable businesses.
Didn't realize we were being watched by the gardening muggle in the house near by till we were back in the car. Hope we haven't compromised this cache. Picked up TB. Found with Aoraki Sheep.

A quick find on what we thought was a quiet stretch of road. Watch out for house just along the road (on same side of road as cache) and gardening locals. Found with debsnz
I suddenly decided I needed to check the phone so Heafudd M had to get this one. I wonder why! TFTC
Found at 3:57:00 p.m. on 06/01/2013.
A quick stop with little traffic around.
Left the Eiffel Tower TB behind.

Found as part of an epic NZ Mega Event trip. Day 6 - Dunedin to Oamaru via Ranfurly and Dansey's Pass with agcnz, -gonefishing- and Yeetrees. Thanks to the owners of the 500 + caches which I had the pleasure to find along the way and which contributed to a very fun trip.
