Knocked the bastard off finally! It's taken three attempts (although, to be fair, the cache wasn't actually there for one) but I finally got the right contortion to grab the cache. I am really glad to put this one to bed. TFTC.
Thanks for replacing this cache. It's been on my to do list for a long time.
I did a cursory look first, but didn't find the cache until I searched more carefully. TFTC.

Started on the wrong end, but reached in for a second time, and found the cache, cheers
Attempted to make this our 300th find, after spending nearly $300 at Kmart haha (while traveling up north after a holiday) but we looked and looked and had no luck. The rain and our patience defeated us.
Had to come over on business so combined a bit of pleasure as well. Quick find here. Thanks for the placement.
Nice one. Driving up the line, we stopped for dinner at the food court over the road. Before climbing into the car for the next led of the journey, I popped across to the supermarket and grabbed this on the way.
Hitched a ride to Te Rapa for an hour or so of cache hunting before getting picked up. TFTC.
Continuing on my early morning caching trip before work today, I followed two cars into the carpark, wondering "hello, whats going on here" - luckily they were either employees or mums getting food for kids lunches. So I parked up and felt my way around for a while before realising I was getting further away from GZ. So went back to the start and used my brain this time, and the cache was immediate at hand.
Time to head into town, and work.

Had to laugh at myself... trying to do some kind of contortionist act to "reach for the road" when such skill is not required Thanks for the cache - had to make the late night shopping trip worthwhile!
Nice spot. Might have been spotted by Muggles but we were sleuth enough...we hope. Stretch up bottom corner.
As part of our current GIO-Licence stage, UncleSam, Dragon_Griffin and I were required to find 50 caches in a day, with each needing to be more than 1km apart. This required a complicated plan including an Excel spreadsheet, many hours spent searching geocaching.com, and measuring distance on Google maps in order to find quick, park & grab caches that hadn't already been found by any of the 3 of us (and weren't likely to result in DNFs as they had been found recently). We also had to lock in a day that fit around 3 people's busy schedules. But eventually, all obstacles were overcome, planning was complete, and the day arrived. That day was today. So caching bags were packed, coffee was consumed (yup, that was me ) and we all met at my place for an early start.
This one was HILARIOUS..... was hard to look for the cache when I was too busy laughing at how we must look to passers-by (that is a busy road, after all!) Got there in the end with efforts at stealth and one of us standing guard.... sort of..... but more laughing at the antics too!
Thanks Cats&Dragons.... cache #35 of 50! Off to the next on the list!!!

Was completing part of my Geo License with NewLynFam & Dragon_Griffin where we had to find 50 caches in one day, but they must be 1km apart from each/all caches done that day. The problem when doing this with 3 people, and 2 of them have done a few around the country it made it a little harder.
We enjoyed our day traveling around. Please forgive me for the generic logs, but was a long day.
Thanks for supporting my addiction.

As part of my current geolicence challenge I needed to grab 50 caches in 1 day more than 1km apart. I hatched a plan with NewlynFam and Uncle Sam for a road trip to complete this challenge and with the cache route in hand we set off on our mission.
This was number 35 for the day out of 50 with no DNFs! Once we got to GZ we knew where we had to look... it was just a matter of how stealth we could be. Trying as best we could to 'tie our laces' we soon had the cache in hand. Hopefully the muggles were too busy doing their shopping to care what we were up to TFTC!

Lots of passing traffic but chose my moment and it was in the 2nd place I looked.

#608 -found on a cache trip over to Hamilton with my caching buddies. Took us a while to find, but we got there in the end. Hint didn't help us much. Great idea though better than the usual placements TFTC
Found it while on our caching mission. May need long arms to reach. Great one, but watch the muggles.
No luck with this one. It was pretty dark, so probably a good time to be hunting, but I still felt a bit exposed.
I was on my way down to the Hawkes Bay to spend a bit of time with one of my daughters and her family. I needed this one for my cache-a-day run.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
Well hidden. Coordinates were right on point. Foggy day here today with a lot of people about. Found with JayDubENT. Thanks for the cache
Found on a foggy day, a load of shopping muggles but no worries. Bit of a reach, but well hid. With Casey2201. Now back to the Naki! Tftc
Took forever for the pedestrian crossing , but I guess I can't blame the CO for that. Knew where I was heading, and for some reason concentrated on the wrong spot. Was about to give up, let's have a look there and I had it. Tftc.
This little beastie has eluded me on the previous 3 occasions I have attempted it. On a roll with finding 6 others this evening under the cover of darkness, I decided to try my luck once more. I dunno. I was expecting something smaller, so when I laid my hand on this & it moved, I almost got a fright, but then that quickly turned to elation! TNLN. SL. So glad to have a smiley here!!! TFTC!
Pretty certain we were in the right place, but wondering if it's been pushed up way too high to be reached?? Couldn't get our hands on this one.
On a day trip to Hamilton with Philip.Perry and his son. Our second mission together but rest assured there will be plenty more.
Twenty Ninth find and took some time and knowledge from previous logs before Daniel managed to extract this one.
Glad we got it.

Time for another trip over the hill from Tauranga, this time with KmanNZ and my son Dan. An awesome day out, got home just before 7pm with another 40+ caches under the belt.... but it wasn't just about the numbers these Waikato locals have put out some awesome caches.
This one took some time as well, in the end previous logs and my sons skinny arms found this cache. A very tricky hide in a very public spot.
Cheers Cats&Dragons

At long last this green box with no smiley has been laid to rest with the help from a friend. Thanks so much.
612 Been to Europe. Been to Sweden. Been to the Waikato and in fact still here. And been and got this cache.
ok didnt get the hint on this one, but had a fair idea of where it would be, yup I was correct soon had the cache in hand and signed, tftc
Again working in the area. Pop down for lunch and this cache was across the road. Had a first look but felt very conspicuous being so close to the main road. Grabbed my hiviz vest and I felt comfortable. Eventually found it turning myself into a contortionist! TFTC
Found caching with alpenmilch80 on day #3 of a 3 day road trip to the Taranaki.
Yuss! Found after a previous DNF earlier in the year.
Thanks!

Thanks!
Quick trip to the supermarket with allaboutthatcache. Would be rude not to get this cache. Tftc
My second day on a cache run to Taranaki together with Slieschke. Today the goal was to explore the Forgotten World Highway and to make our way back to Auckland. We decided to take a longer break in Hamilton to help celebrating its 150th birthday with fireworks and a Time Warp. Great geocache to find during the night time as nobody is around to watch you. TFTC
Great little find before going to watch the movie 'dead lands' at Te awa. TFTC
Great wee hide place....loads of muggles strolling about, had to be so early for this one....tftc
We returned today to complete some unfinished business having logged a dnf about 12 months ago. Looked in all the same places again this time but persistence finally paid off.

We got here early enough so not many muggles very well hidden but a quick find tftc
Out and about with Gap (of Fap and Gap). We planned on a big round up of caches around Te Rapa... so we started off early. It rained as soon as we arrived in Hamilton, and never let up. I got so wet, I had to ask Gap to visit a second hand shop to get a warm, dry coat... All part of the adventure we had today.
It's definitely convenient when a 'previous finder' brought me here. 'The cache is over there', and it was. TFTC.

4.10pm - Been here before looking for this one. A little patience and a good look, we found it. Tricky little hide I must say. SLTFTC
man, not the easiest find! but thanks to a fellow cacher for a hint, made for a find after several earlier attempts
Had looked for this one before but there was to many muggles then but less muggles today so was a nice slightly tricky find.
Too tricky for us....only 2nd ever attempt at geocaching. Looked very suspicious though with all the cars coming and going.
Tftc. My son found this one. I didn't want to go stomping through the garden but he had no problems.
was in the area placing a cache, well sort of, so decided I had to find a cache as well as put one out, tftc
Was here 7.30 saturday morning and the traffic was not too bad. Pretty sure I knew where this would be but I think my arms are not long enough. Will have to bring some help next time. Will be back. Thanks C&D anyway
In Hamilton today for the hot air balloons, unfortunately it was too windy for the mass ascension so we did some caching instead. Found what we thought was a very good hiding place here, but didn't locate the cache. We did our best to be stealthy but felt very exposed with all the traffic going by, so gave up on this one for today!
We needed a small-sized cache in (or near) Hamilton since we got an old travel bug who wanted to get in there. Hope the owner collects it! Europe, hmm, the day after tomorrow we will be at home. So this is kind of Final… Thanks for sharing this & greetings from Finland!
It took as a while tofound it. Neatly wanting to give up but than we found it
This cache has been in my to-do list since it was placed. Today was finally the day I decided to go for it! Not even a blown coolant hose in my car prevented me (although it did delay me while I fixed it!) and the cache was soon in hand and us now off my list! TFTC!

thanks for the cache was a fun one to do one of 10 i did today on my last days work for the year
GPS was right on the money. We knew this was cats and dragons so knew we had to be a bit clever. Walked passed it a few time first and then we came UP with the goods. TFTC
Seeing as today was Christmas Day this spot was (pretty much) muggle free which allowed a good thorough search which resulted in my wife making the find. TNLN, TFTC.
After yesterday's DNF I e-mailed the CO to see if he would be willing to give a clue. A clue duly arrived (thanks for that, Steve) and I returned first thing this morning. Even with the clue it took me longer than I expected but eventually cache was in hand.
We took cashkids travel item no 13 and left a kangaroo bottle opener key chain.
TFTC.

Had a good long look at the obvious location and a few nearby less obvious places as well. Unfortunately nothing appeared and I left empty-handed.
