It appears that the Teddies may have got a bit over enthusiastic and the cache has been destroyed. Temporarily disabled.I will pop in there in the next few days to investigate. Thanks averageseeker for reporting.
Fantastic for our first ever!

This was my first geochache and I found it with my dad. We both had a great time we got a purple teddy bear and left a feather. It was slightly hard to get to and slippery
After going to the geo event (coffee and cake, meet and greet) this morning thought I should get a walk in and nothing better than picking up a cache or two along the way. A great place for a cache.
Thanks geo-twins

The GPS wasn't helping me so much on this cache but there seemed to be an obvious hide and so there was. Thanks geo-twin for the cache.
Suscoe's 20th find of 27 for today as we wandered around this area.
A nice quick find by Mrs. S.
Log signed and away we went.
Thanks to geo-twin for placing this cache.

Nice find! Fantastic spot for a picnic! Unfortunately the cache, was not in it's hiding spot but I replaced it so it was no longer visible to walkers. TFTC
Found @ 12:05hrs.
I had a steep climb to this hide after leaving the wrong track. Many thanks to geo-twin for the cache.

We were wondering about the rating of 1.5 as we clambered up the hill, only to find the path had wound around to GZ. Oh well, thanks for the cache and showing us this little walking track.
Great to see such a well kept cache in a great hidey hole with such a full log book! Tnln Tftc
Just enough Teddy's left to have a picnic, lovely place and good work by landcare group.

We spent the day in Bairnsdale today doing as many caches as we could before we headed off towards Sale. This was one of the caches we were able to find in conjunction with caching friends LazzaL. Thanks to geo-twin.
In Bairnsdale with friends Liz & Bruce trying to get as many done today as possible before moving on to Maffra. Thanks to geo-twin
Another nice hide to cap off a very enjoyable weekend in the area for caching. Thanks for the hide.
What a beautiful way to spend my lunch. I took photos of the lovely road leading up to it, the dozens of rosellas at the entry gate, the delightful goat tracks and the picnic spot at the top. I went back to my work and showed everybody the photos of this lovely peaceful spot so close by. Thank you so much for this cache- I plan to spend some more lunch breaks there from now on
Took nothing, left nothing but some great trinkets in there and loved the log book. My 30th find

Another bright and sunny but cool winter's day. Dragons and bears out to grab a few caches around the local area and enjoy the fresh air. So we have finally got around to visiting this one. This is such a peaceful area, and yet so close to Bairnsdale housing. Nice walk along the track and the cache was found. Cache is in good condition. Took small Pooh bear and Left squinky cake and presents for the bears on their picnic. SL Replaced cache.

Thank you for taking me out to a part of Bairnsdale that I never knew even existed! (After about 20 years of coming down here as a child)

Well done to the friends of Picnic Point for the work they have done in this area. No teddies left here except for the one on the log book and my travelling geocaching teddy (Miss Chief). Hopefully there is a photo in the Photo Gallery. Found with the help of taurus1955. TFTC
# 5505 Found on a last trip around Bairnsdale before we head to the Lakes.
There was a break in the rain again so I went for a drive before the muggles appeared again.
Nice and quiet and not many muggles walking around while I was here.
A quick find this time and a safe spot to hide too.
TN LN SL Thanks for the Cache geo-twin,
Roostaman.

Found early on Sunday morning in the misty rain. I am visiting family friend in Bairnsdale this weekend. Nice easy find. Thanks geo-twin for the cache and the great location.
Our first geocache and unfortunately didnt find it but thought we saw it...much too high for us. Dont know if that was actually it though [?] What a beautiful area! We have only been in Bairnsdale a short time and didnt even know it existed. Great walk and such a good spot for a cache
A wander up the hill and on the way I was keeping an eye out for teddy bears having a picnic. As it turned out the picnic must have been either later in the day (I was there just before lunch time) or it was another day as I could not find any teddys. What I did find was a cache. An easy find here today.

What a great spot with heaps of bird life and a great grassy area to have a picnic. I know its silly to say since its called picnic point but I didn't realize that you could go into this area I thought picnic point was the area outside the fence. I'll definitely be coming back with more time to have have a good look around and maybe even a picnic. This is what geocaching is all about you think you know an area then someone places a cache that takes you to a great spot that you would probably have never visited otherwise. Thanks geo-twins
Steep climb to a great view. Lots of bird life here, we saw lots of brilliant blue wrens, so tiny and beautiful. tftc
Geotoddler loved this cache, thank you. A nice, short walk to GZ with heaps of birds to see on the way. Lovely little area.
Took marble, left nose toy

Real good find. Cute teddies. Left everything as found. Good spot to leave the car and go for a walk. Great spot to buy local apples round the corner Yum.
I remember playing down here when I was a kid. Enjoyed the walk and love the work they have done to regenerate the area. TFTC
Found this morning at 08:00am after dropping Smart Sassy Siren off at the branch for work. Luckily for me SSS's Dakota was still in the car from the last 3 or 4 days that we have gone out caching. So I was ble to go out and snaffle this quick grab.
Thanks geo-twin, for the lovely location, I'm urge it's a lot nicer when there has not been recent floods.
Took a green teddy,
Left nothing but a faint memory

I had a few hours to spare and what better way than some caching. I have chance the area before and it was nice to see some new ones. Really enjoyed the nice walk into the cache and found it in a great hide. Could of been a bit larger without any trouble. TFTC
I've had fun hunting for and finding this cache, It never ceases to amaze me how the CO in the first instance comes up with the idea for placing a cache at this location. After signing the log and then replacing the cache, another find becons me. Thanks geo-twin for the cache.
Today was the fourth day of our excursion out of Tasmania touring from Melbourne to Canberra and return via Gippsland. We visited a number of towns and areas today between Bairnsdale and Cann River and we were lucky enough to find some caches along the way. Again it was overcast at times with some very infrequent showers, we have had another excellent day. This cache took us to a lovely area beside the river. It was very peaceful in the early morning but it must have been too early for any Teddy Bears to be up and about. Accurate coordinates led to a quick find. TFTC geo-twin
Good Bye Liddle Nif enjoy your travels hope to see a few more photo's of your adventures.
First find on my own using Geocaching iPhone app. Couldn't believe how close to home! Clever hiding spot. Took blue teddy and replaced with butterfly brooch. SL TFTC!

A really nice park in this corner of the town. I didn't realise that Bairnsdale was quite this large!
I parked near the river and walked up the track to GZ. After signing the log, I continued up to the top for the view and a couple of notice boards of information.
Thanks, Robmc.
