My first geocache find on my Bibbulmun E2E SOBO - an easy find too thank goodness because my pack is heavy. TFTC , in the rough.
As a former student at KSHS in the late seventies, it was great to revisit where we used to do cross country. And even greater was finding a well maintained golden oldie! Thanks for keeping it alive!
Catching up with the MICKS crew (Meme28, I C Nothing, Cirrus_WA, Kapelula, SirFancy & myself) for a jam-packed day full of caching. Logs signed as MMICKS. Thanks to all those we found.
Road trip day with the MMicks, taking advantage of the public holiday. A day of great fun with plenty of laughs and finds. We found your cache easily and it was in good condition. TftcMMicks team - Monkeywand, Meme28, I C Nothing, Cirrus_wa, Kapelula and Sir Fancy.
A nice but warm walk into the cache. We made a quick find at GZ. Out caching with the MMICKS Crew. Some logs signed as MMICKS. (Meme28, Monkeywand, I C Nothing, Cirrus_WA, Kapelula and Sir Fancy) TFTH!
Public holiday caching with the crew ICNothing Cirrus_WA Kapelula SirFancy and MonkeyWand. Cache found with no issues as we all lined up for a photos in alphabetical order! MMICKS. Cheers for the old one!
A quick snack as we parked the cars up and waited for the full team to arrive and then started the walk to GZ.We spread out quite a bit along the way with the kids doing a great job getting there in the end.Once at GZ the cache was located without issue and we signed the log before heading on our way. The planning for the Labour Day geocaching adventures of the MMICKS (Meme28, monkeywand, I C Nothing, Kapelula, SirFancy & myself) started a few weeks back. With everyone locked in, we deliberated on where we should head for the day. It was decided to begin in Coolbelup, attending a CITO event before focusing on a few new offerings on the map.The second part of the day was spent heading to the hills, trying to collect a few older caches and necessary attributes between Mundaring, Kalamunda, & Lesmurdie. With the heat of the afternoon finally getting to us, we called it a day and headed to grab an ice-cream before making our way home. A fun day out with the full group netted me 13 finds, 1 event attended, and 1 DNF. Thanks LazyLeopard for placing Old Rough for me and others to find.I added my name to the log at 11:55 on 4/3/2024.This is find number 8148 for me.
This is my 5082 find.Thank you LazyLeopard for placing and maintaining this cache.SirFancy West Oz Geocaching committee member.www.west-oz-geocaching.com/
Out with Tiger777 cleaning up a few dots in the hills on a Spring like Winter’s day.
Walked in to this cache from the Captain William Vlamingh cache. After a short search we located the cache in its hide my hole. The shade from the trees here provided a nice reprieve from the hot sun, and the log was a helpful seat to sign the log. This was today’s objective, being one of the older caches in WA. Cheers LazyLeopard!

So excited to find our first cache!! In the rain with kids and a dog, super fun
We had a wonderful time looking for it!!! Thanks so much for everyone taking part.
Targetting some old caches today. Nice little walk with a furry friend and lots of friends for him. Enjoyed the find, tftc!
Was driving along looking at the map and from the aerial view wondered if this was a golf course. Sure enough it used to be. Wouldn’t have fancied teeing it up here, looks like a tough track. Tftc cool spot
Another old cache we had on our list to find. A nice walk around with plenty of muggles exercising their dogs. Got near to GZ and left the path to soon spot the camo and sign the log. Great to see it still going. TFTC
We are drying out the contents and replacing container which seems to have been leaking.
Found with Dora the Explorer on our day off work. It is good to find these old caches and that they are still active. TFTC
A great walk! Great hiding spot that wasn’t too difficult to find. Thanks for the fun! Log book was a bit wet but still usable
Log book dried out, container replaced and cache re-hidden in original location.
Container looks to have been chewed by a dog. Will replace with a new container soon. For the moment it's not there.
Thanks for creating Geocache!, did it with my friends for a second time! -Micah Pollard
I was at this old golf course for the in inaugural Great Trail Relay. In beween my laps I had to time to walk up here with my grandaughter and make a quick grab. It was a lovely walk amongst all the fresh wildflowers and my grandaughter enjoyed checking out the cubby house we came across on the way. We even managed to cheer on one of our relay team as they went past the cache location.
Also nice to grab an another 'old' cache

I have found it! Good hiding spot with the pieces of wood around it. The only thing that gave it away was the light colour of the lid
