This was a turning point in my geocaching career the last caches placed by Amstradkid and the evolution of Allied Pranksters I am very sad to archive my finest.
Have been wanting to do the bugs series for awhile. After a short SWH run stopped off here.
Found 3 out of 4. Stomped through the grass and hoped any lurking Joe Blakes would slip away.
Enjoyed the pathways and was surprised how green the lawn areas were.
Sadly no smiley here today.

Really enjoyed this series and a fitting one for International Geocaching Day. Quick find by me - I actually found the remaining three . Nice walk but with the wet grass came home with very wet squelching shoes and wet jeans!!! All part of the fun

Once again geospouse BUGgered off leaving me to fend off feisty spiders. Thankfully it was dead.
An annual leave day to spend with Percival Mastiff while he is on school holidays. We decided to head to this short series before heading into Perth for the afternoon. All of the caches were easy to find and quite creepy creatures. I am pleased that we tackled these in the cooler winter months, the grass is quite long in places and I dare not think of what was lurking underfoot.

Bless the creator of the paved path I discovered near this cache....back on the bike to work the legs a bit more and give the arms a rest. Thanks for the cache AP.
Found @ 17:23!
Find #13 on a day of geocaching around Oakford!
Find #3 of this series after failing to find a few 'Oakford Stakes - Apache' caches!
Another easy find in the likely location. Took longer to re-hide than it did to find...!

The park was total empty today, which was great for me! Had the creepy crawly in ahnd very quickly and thankful for the shade at GZ.

Have been wanting to do the bugs series for awhile and seeing as though I had nothing else planned this arvo, I managed to convince hubby to do a few caches with me.
We loved the walk, very relaxing, except when we had to walk thru the long grass as a bit paranoid about snakes now that the weather is warming up. We never saw any, so all was good.
A nice walk along a path to this one. Took a few mins to find here as we were disturbed by a muggle walking his dog. Muggle just kept looking at us like we were weird for standing around the trees. Go figure!! Find was made after he continued on his walk.

Don't know how this series had slipped under my radar until today. After doing some pretty heavy trekking up through the hills, thought we would finish off our day with this fun and light hearted series. Loved them all - some were easy while others were a bit trickier, but got them all in the end. This one wasn't closed properly and the log was a bit damp - might be an idea to replace it as it was very difficult to write on. Thanks AmstradKid
Wow what a lot of searching for this 1 but finally found it in its natural habitat, tftc
It was hot and dusty and the brook was dry as bone but we enjoyed doing this creative series. TFTH, AmstradKid.
I was in the area today doing the AP series' and after finding 032, I noticed there was a big gap before 033, and this series filled in that gap nicely, so I crossed the road and walked over to find this cache.
I enjoyed the walk along the lovely path to get here. I noted someone else say that this was a tricky find, and at GZ my GPS was bouncing around all over the place, so I searched in quite a few spots before retreating to the nearby seat to read the logs.
This didn't really help me a lot, but I did go back and let the GPS settle, and had a closer look in more spots, and I found the cache!! Very happy
Thanks for the cache and series AmstradKid!

[:(!] Went with geowife on a late afternoon of caching, arrived at GZ and after a bit of searching had no luck, read previous logs and had the bug in hand in a matter of minutes SL TFTC
After completing the nearby Tour de Tonkin series we headed here and completed these buggy caches. We didn't have any problems locating the cache although we had to be discreet as there were muggles nearby. Another nicely done series of microcaches AmstradKid. Thanks for the hunt.
This was a case of 4th time lucky! First time was at the start of this Bug series, then after finding the first two to the East, then after finding the last two to the west.
Then, after getting the low down from a previous finder at the 11/11/11 Event dropped by on my way home for an easy night find. I had wrongly decided where the Green Spider would live so had been searching quite the wrong places. My GPS seemed to be more accurate at night too, as I had a very good fix on GZ, whereas in the daytime it was about 8m away.
Thanks for this and the other caches in this enjoyable Bug series, AmstradKid

Out caching after the morning 11-11-11 event.
Still with Team Machman-FelixII-Lbjezza
Walked to this one from the last one.
Quick find by Mrs Felix here, who thought she found the cache, but not sure if it was the cache or coloured shoelaces? till a stick was used to uncover the sucker!

After successfully completing K & C new series we took up the Challenge for this one.
Much easier to walk between the Caches in this series, as the GPS does not show all the newly built roads.
This was was found after a moment of hesitation.... "it is real" ???

Searched and searched but couldn't find it. Found two others in the series today but not this or scorpion.
Despite the iPod and GPS both low on batt. and dyed, we managed to locate with ease. Signed & replaced log. Looking forward to locating the others. TFTF.
Walked up from the previous cache and soon found this one. Same problem with the lid connector being brittle. I cannot remember is this was the one that stayed together but at least the lid is still on the container.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Easy find but I do recommend a pair of tweezers for this series. Signed the log. TFTH
Today, I had a couple of spare hours from dropping youngest Geoson at work, only a short, 15 Km detour, and I could clear this series.
Parked near the bridge, a dry way to cross the creek. Arrived at the GZ and commenced the search, not many spots, and I had to look around, and the Green Arachid surfaced.
Log removed signed replaced and the bug returned to its "natural" hiding spot. Thanks Amstradkid [^]

We had a very nice walk through this area today and finally caught up with Trevared, dogs and family. Enjoyed the series greatly and reccommend it as suitable for the younger Geocachers (who love insects). TFTC
After a little search sat down in the sunshine to re think. Red the geodog ran up to someone in his usual friendly way and the next thing I heard was 'have you found it yet?' It was Jacaro44, within seconds my son found it, we signed the log, had a chat and went our own ways. TFTF
We hunted for ages, went away to find the others and returns to hunt again. No luck this time. Perhaps one for another day.
Ok now I parked the GeoPatrol in a car parking bay a bit closer and a path with a bridge(GeoGod be praised)was close by. This cache had me looking for a while, GPSr was showing right to the spot but I could not see an obvious spot, but then it showed itself....lol SL TFTC
*FTF* three Bugs down two to go!!!
I was at home mowing the lawn and came inside for lunch and saw the ‘Bugs Series’ so decided to take an extended lunch break. Word out on the trail was that AmstradKid was not doing any more series; just goes to show you can’t believe all that trail talk.
I can highly recommend the ‘Buds Series’ although if you don’t like big creepy crawly then you should give it a wide berth.
Thanks AmstradKid.
