Like those before us, we found the securing line but no sign of any cache. This needs checking by the owner or archiving. NM log placed and we will put it on our watchlist for maybe another trip to lincoln.
A better weather day in Port Lincoln while visiting relatives we could spend a few hours seeking a few more of these elusive hides.
Unfortunately some were abandoned, no longer there, destroyed or removed with no maintenance performed. Many by this owner of caches.
There is definitely nothing to find at GZ. The securing line is there but nothing else. It really needs archiving.

Found original cache spot with fishing line still attached to the screw. No cache in sight, line broken as previously stated, but no sign of replacement cache in area. Either we were blind or this has been muggled. Bit sad.
This was a great cache, it was my first find too! Thanks to where’s wolly for placing this! Took me a while, but through scratches and determination I got it!
Found it this time without blood loss, thanks go grandys for the tip when we saw you on our travels!
Found after a good search. Fishing line broke and log was very wet. We put a new log in a small container and put that container in the original container. TFTC
Probably there but we are now in pain and don't want to lose anymore blood
Found it but the log is wet. That's 3000 finds for me. It took awhile to find. TFTC

This was part of a road trip with a difference with my muggle dad, we hit the high (Not really) seas on the P&O Pacific Jewel which started in Melbourne and headed for Port Lincoln Via Kangaroo Island. It was a pleasant five days where relaxing was the theme.
Today we woke to a particularly bad day weather wise with an overcast sky and rain falling. I was determined to at least head onto land and find a few caches. Even tho I was here last year, There were still a lot of caches to find here. After walking for about 30 minutes, the rain stopped and the weather turned into a nice day. This one was a very prickly find, I ended up approaching from the wrong side and drawing blood from several spots. Anyway, I did find the cache in the end.
**Thanks to wheres wolly for the cache. TNLN. **

Geez bastard bush is an apt description! DNF but swapped a lot of my hair for some twigs and thorns lol. Should've known better with a TD of 3, but it was my last chance to drop another TB in South Australia [:/] Back to Queensland now. TFTH. Loved my visit, nice Heritage Trail here.
CPwanderer, GoodLook and I headed off for a weekend in Port Lincoln via an overnight stop in Whyalla
Our weekend was unexpectedly extended by a day due to illness and so my tally at the end of the 'weekend' was 168 cache finds
Sadly this was marred by a massive 28 DNFs
Port Lincoln, despite being virgin caching territory for all 3 of us, did not provide us with the pleasure that we had anticipated
So many of the caches were bison tubes and those that we did find, quite often were in places where a larger cache could have been hidden The other issue was the lack of maintenance on many caches
There are people trying their best to maintain the 'wheres wolly' cache hides however their resources are stretched thinly..... so if you are heading over, please pack heaps of cache maintenance containers, bags and log books and help out where you can. [^]
That being said, the trip was still a blast and some great caches were found and great views were seen!
Roaming Wendy very kindly came out with us for the rest of today and as a result, our find count increased as did the laughter in the car
Thank you for your company [^]
Bloody acacias, they are NOT my favourite prickly bush!
In fact, I call them Bastard Bush...for good reason!
Still the cache was eventually found here thanks to Roaming Wendy's assistance and GoodLook's reach

This was one of the caches found on a three day odyssey on the Eyre Peninsula! Myself, GoodLook and locuscache had never cached south of the Cowell/Cleve area so we had high hopes of some great caching. We worked our way down through Port Neil and Tumby Bay and grabbed those along the highway plus a few a little further afield.
Our time in and around Port Lincoln was frustrating. Lots very small micros, lots of very rusty tins and more dnfs than ive ever had in a day before this. We were very fortunate that local cacher , Roaming Wendy joined as. Her expert knowledge of the town certainly helped. A medical issue had us stay a third day. This worked out very well as we could do some relaxed caching on our way home.
A special thanks to Roaming wendy for her help and to those who hid caches in the area … particularly the Geo-Ambos, Wheres Wolly and Viper231. Special thanks also to my “mildly obsessive” caching buddies on this trip …………………………… amazing fun!!
Quickly located!!! thanks wheres wolly for the hide!!

Woo hoo, we found it!
After messaging Roaming Wendy, she graciously joined us and jumped in our car in order to cache around Lincoln with us (as we'd not been having much fun with all of the DNFs).
Found whilst on a road trip with CPwanderer and Locus Cache, with the aim of the weekend to cache in and around Port Lincoln - fresh territory for us all. We certainly had a great time, however with a DNF rate of about 40% [:(!], it was tough going! We did however thoroughly enjoy the beautiful locations and scenery.
After joking all day on the Sunday we should spend another night in Pt Lincoln, circumstances presented that meant we needed to extend our time away! We took it slowly on the way home which enabled us to once again visit some terrific places
Thanks for the cache

Found by Mary & David, in company with pprass (signed as m & p), at 1635. Our second day in Port Lincoln. Today, we cached our way around the local area. Weather not quite so bad today. Some sharp foliage to be negotiated here, but we eventually found the container. After two DNFs before this find, we decided to quit while we were ahead, and made it our last for the day. Our thanks to wheres wolly.
Found at 4:36 PM GAFF1 in the company of maccamob. We signed the log book as "M&P".
Yeah - finally! After 3 DNF's in a row we finally found a cache However we nearly missed this one as well as the grass has really grown around here.
Thanks wheres wolly.

Found top half and where the cache was meant to be but it is missing log and bottom half
We found this cache uncovered so made an easy find. We rehid at GZ a nice walking track along here too. TFTC
Cache was found in the last place we looked, which as usual was not the first place we looked. Thanks for a fun cache guys. Love your work. We signed the logbook.

We found this cache as part of a 4 day trip which went from Adelaide to Sceale Bay returning to Adelaide. The purpose of the trip was to remove Freddo was his home location too near the Clipsal 500 track and for us and Freddo to achieve a difficulty 4 1/2 and terrain 4 cache to make us well rounded cachers. The cache we needed to find was located near Venus Bay and we successfully completed this goal early on Friday morning which left us plenty of time to find "just one more". Loved the scenery and having the opportunity revisit this great area Thanks to wheres wolly for placing this cache.

Another perfect spring day for a drive around town while in Port Lincoln for a few days.
Hardly any muggles around and mostly good quick finds.
I found it all open and spread out so I fixed it and returned it to a safe place.
Thanks for the cache wheres wolly,

Read past logs about the cache now being in the spinifex and sure enough, there it was. Thanks for the cache wheres wolly.
Cached was completely visible sitting on the grass. Surprised it was still there. Placed in a spinafex at ground zero.
Just about to get out the car and phone rang sister from Adelaide (earthlight)up for a chat
Nice easy find once I stopped talking about the caches we had found yesterday in Lincoln
Took trackables for a look around with us today

Found on the "I'm not Diving with the Great White Sharks trip". A great day weather wise and caching wise. This one was a bit wet so stamped it and left it in the sun a long as I could spare.
Thanks to wheres wolly and clear skies from TeamAstro.

Spent the day caching the Port Lincoln township - found plenty but had a few DNF's as well.
Another clever hide. TFTC.

YES!!! A FTF for a Tasmanian based Cacher. After a few prickles, and a GPSr that showed it in about 4 areas found fairly quickly. As with a nano, TNLNSL. Thanks wheres wolly for this cache
