Found it. Couldnt find any tools but managed to get it out with a bit of natures help.
Little walk to get to the GZ, quickly found and discovered what was required. Tools where no where to be found. Created our own set of tools. TFTC. FOund with Loz47
Very clever hide, a great cache for my 100th find Log was too wet to sign though
In the final week of what has been a 2.5 month working holiday through South East Asia and Oceania. Had to find a natural TOTT. Thanks.
TFTC! There were no tools so we used a long stick and came across a very damp cache!Duck Caches - #57
No sign of any tools, but we managed to fashion some and (fighting off local wildlife of the mosquito variety) retrieve a damp cache.Very pleased with ourselves, thanks so much for the cache!
Fun cache. Couldnt find tools but found our own way to do it. Log very wet. Found with kniightstar. Tftc!
First we had an issue getting to gz, but once read the cache page figured it out. No problem finding the cache but no tools to be found. We did find a way to get the cache out using nearby equipment, maybe not quite the way it was intended but the cache popped its head out for us to retrieve and sign the log.
A fav point for the effort gone into the cache.
Thank you Tim+Jed for placing this cache.
Log signed as B&P

Got it!!! Took more than a few attempts but eventually received the cache. Yess! Very fun cache. I enjoyed it. The log paper was very soaking and starting to disintegrate. I added in my own but if paper but maybe re will probably be needed.
Had an hour to spare this afternoon so decided to collect a few caches while in the area. Had read up on this one before attempting and had a fair idea of what may be required. The tools I brought were not useful with just one person so improvised with tools I found at GZ and it was a quick retrieval and log after that.
Thanks for a fun find and TFTC

Found the inner cache after a bit of searching but couldn’t find the tools to lift it. So we tried a couple of different tools and finally found one that with a bit of finger stretching on both sides lifted the cache. Log is in a bad shape, falling apart, but we managed to sign properly. Just take care you don’t leave behind any rubbish.
Thanks for the great find though. It felt like a true suburban adventure

No luck here. I was with a previous finder and we both think it may have gone missing
Pipe dream alright, I couldn't even locate the pipe in question! But I didn't have a relevant tool on me anyway, so I shall try to return another day with one.
Managed to get this one without any tools and got it on first go with almost a few fails tftc
Tools to get cache are missing which makes it a tad harder to find adequate replacements nearby
Came to spend some time with my daughter who lives in Wellington and she decided she wanted to show me her workplace which is nearby. I am trying really hard not to think about caching as that is not what this trip is about (unfortunately) but as this has so many FPs I thought this was worth stopping for. Unsurprised by the FPs once at GZ and will give one of my own. As mentioned, tools are missing and rather than walk back to where we managed to park, we used what was to hand. A few mishaps as tools we found weren't up to the task but eventually we had it sussed. Thanks for something not so ordinary Tim+Jed! Did look up where the others in the series are but turns out two are archived and the other on a walkway and that is not happening today unfortunately.
Cool cache. Probably not the best one to try to find in the dark, but at least and I didn’t have to worry about having too many muggles around. As other’s have mentioned, it’s a shame the tools have gone missing, but we made do with things found close by. It’s always cool to find caches that have been around for a while like this - thanks for maintaining it. KTG
Out for an evening of chills and friends with KTG. Thought we'd collect this while we waited for our dinner to be ready for collection. No "tools" at GZ.... they've gone walkies. But that didn't stop KiwiKatieG fashioning another tool MacGyver style.... not long after that, cache in hand. Log was all goods. Still lots of space for signatures. The log did small a bit musty though. Lol. This is tue first time we have found a cache like this. Thanks to the CO for placing. We enjoyed it. FP from me on this. TFTC
Easy find but a little difficult to extract. Signed log and replaced where found. TFTC.
Found with 15YO. Drove up to Karori after drum lessons in Aro Valley. I had done pipe dream #5 a while back so I knew roughly what to expect. This one initially had us stumped. We soon divised a quick solution to the problem and the cache was revealed. Love a good challenge and this one ticked the box. TFTC
Came back here today with my son and grandsons...They were quite intrigued...
Yay success finally....!
Thanks for the challenge...
Favourite!

So cool....will be back with son and grandsons....they will love it....kept dropping at no.4 for me!
I need more patience!

Spent the afternoon getting the sub-urban pipe dream range around Karori. Needed help locating this one as my GPS was leading me to the open lawn. Not that helpful. Once at GZ I knew what to do but it takes patience to deal with the drops. Eventually success, logged signed and off to get the rest <3 TFTC
Thanks for this cache today. I needed a bit of a wander on a lazy chillax day and it was fun to come here and put my mind to this on a random walk. Got the rhythm pretty quickly but you still hold your breath with each manoeuvre to see if it will come crashing down again or not. Enjoyable and log achieved successfully with a sense of satisfaction. TFTC.
Got the technique sorted after a couple of false starts, and quickly got the container moving. All good in cache, signed and returned. FP for a creative idea. Tftc!
I was on a four-day trip to Wellington with my niece and nephews and decided to head out to find a few geocaches before our Parliament tour.
Took a little bit to locate the cache, as it was nicely hidden. The boys tried working together to extract the cache, but after a few failed attempts I stepped in to speed things along and finally sign the log.

Came here yesterday. Buses were free for the day so jump on a few and went round the city grabbing a few caches along the way. Nicely set up cache. Tftc
Found with little blue hen and granddaughter. Third of 4 and a clever concept. Glad to be adept at scoffing Asian cuisine. Will add favourite as will little blue hen. Sad to see the destruction site adjacent. Tftcsl
Out and about with Flowerydaze around Karori and Brooklyn. This one had me struggling to maintain a clean sweep with this series. We had not seen this type of field puzzle before and it required some concentration and patience to extract. TFTC FP awarded.
Well, they say it's all in the way you hold your mouth, and that seemed to be relevant as Talla64 persuaded this cache to reveal itself. No problem though, and the log was signed and the cache returned without drama. Thanks for another great Sub-Urban Pipe Dream cache.
Another very creative extraction. Took a bit of time for the GPS to settle then voila. A wee bit sad looking back at the old stomping ground that was Wellington Teachers College not so long ago. TFTC
TFTC! Finding the cache was one thing, actually getting to it was much harder! Got it eventually
Love your caches!! Out with geeves90. Stopped it then had the fun of getting it out. All well here
This one has been evading me, clearly not looking properly!
Today bigger issue was the where to put ones feet to stay clean and dry.

Glad I had some cover as I meticulously retrieved the cache. Very fun cache and yet again, deserving of a favourite point. Great series, I’m really enjoying them. As a bonus, I’m getting clues for the Mystery at the Museum.

Another very clever cache. Took several attempts and a lot of patience but got there in the end. Many thanks for these really fun caches. Being so popular, they are also excellent for points towards the carnival souvenirs. TFTC
Well i got a text from Rattll and Mar1sa on Monday night asking if I wanted to go on a road trip to get highest favourite point caches, I said I would be a starter as Mr Watcache would be away so why not and I needed to get the 500 points for cache carnival. Mar1sa being so organised sent us all a list of caches we were going to try and get if we got all of those we would come home with 650 points she is so organized. Saturday came along up at 5,30am picked up at 7am sharp, then off to Sanson to pick up Rattll there onto the main drag to get our first cache a few k's to go to even start caching. great conversation was had then we met trignz at the first cache and we all stayed together using the team name as (WaRMT) it has all the first letter of our cache names in it with an extra a to form it. There were such great caches we got today and this was one of them no wonder they have high favorites we went all over Wellington up hills down hills down same roads many times did some long bush walks again up and down hill went through a lot of cemetery's ya always think of Wellington as up and down hill small tight streets but it opened my eyes to some great parks and walkways but the parking was always a challenge. Thank you for placing this cache for us all to enjoy gets a favorite point from us. we took nothing left nothing but we did sign the log WaRMT. once we had all the caches we had on the list we got the odd extra few caches always a bonus getting more than you planned for. we were Lucky enough to stop for lunch around 4pm but we did stop twice for coffee drinks and supplies to keep our energy levels up. about 7pm it was time to head for home Mar1sa was driving the whole day and did an amazing job we all had turns at navigator we finally got home at 9pm ready for a rest cuppa and bed. an amazing road trip and I think we are all still speaking to each other. again thank you for the cache gets a favorite point from us. picked up nothing dropped off nothing and signed the log we placed the cache back exactly where we found it.
I arrived here in what was quite a secluded spot and it took me a minute to find the cache. When that finally happened I thought "oh no!" how long is this going to take? I set to work and was quite close to having retrieved the log when I lost my concentration and "lost" it. Just when I was pondering whether to start again or come back another day some voices started getting closer. When I realized they weren't passing by and I was in a spot that is only likely to be approached by geocachers I emerged to greet them before I got muggled. A gang of four cachers from up north were here because of the high FP count on this cache and for me it was the most fortuitous muggling ever. Because it meant one of them could have a go I could sign the log despite screwing up my first attempt. Thanks "guys",much appreciated. (Why don't we have a better colloquial for "guys" that include women without the horrible term "gals"?) I only remember one of their names now but I'm sure their subsequent logs will remind me who they were!
I will give this an FP too because of the novel design and circumstances of the find. TFTC!

we were a mixed team today and needed a name so signed as WARM T which covered Watcache, Rattll, TwigNz and Mar1sa.
this one we could almost drive to, and was lucky enough to meet another cacher, watcache and twignz did the honors and soon have the cache sorted
up at 5.40 am and home at 9pm and now some logging to do.
thanks for the great cache + Fav point

Mar1sa and I hatched a plan during the week for a day trip to Wellington, chasing high favourite point caches to collect points for the latest souvenir challenge. We asked Mrs Watcache if she'd like to join us and later Twignz was added to the team as well. Although I'm more of a coffee drinker, we couldn't make that work with our initials so eventually decided to sign the logs as "WaRM T" to save on time and space on the logs.
We headed towards GZ after grabbing some lunch, but with the driver heading back for the car, one of our team waiting at the turn off to direct her and the other two making the final approach to GZ, we arrived in dribs and drabs, so the retrieval was already under way when Mar1sa and I arrived. We were surprised to find our team had multiplied by one as trancer96 was in attendance too. We decided to leave the other two to it as they were doing such a good job, and chatted instead. Being sociable is important too.
Thanks fro another well crafted cache Tim+jed

They say that you can't beat Wellington on a good day, and today has to have been one of the very best I've experienced for a long time. No wind at all, the Tasman sea almost like a mill pond on the drive down. In short, stunning!
In fact it was a perfect day to get invited along to spend some time with Watcache, Rattll and Mar1sa on a hunt for some highly favourited caches to hopefully get all the points required to complete the Cache Carnival event. A day that would see us having plenty of laughs, some surprises, lots of walking including a fair bit of vertical ascending (this was Wellington after all), a few wrong turns (I blame the navigator lol!) but most of all good company and shared success. For the sake of easy logging, our collective team caching name was WaRM-T, and this was what was recorded when signing all logbooks.
Walking towards GZ, we were suddenly aware of a bloke emerging from the bushes. Instinctively I was wondering if this was a home owner or suchlike, but he immediately announced that he too was caching but hadn't succeeded in retrieving this particular one. So myself and Watcache had a go at getting the cache, and after a couple of minutes we were able to emerge from the bushes with the cache in hand, enabling us all to sign the log before it was replaced. Nice to meet you Trancer96, especially as I have often seen your name come up on caches that I have logged.
Thanks for the interesting cache, and helping us have a memorable day. I love a good field puzzle and I'm happy to give this one another FP.

# 1420 Out and about today looking for some quality caches to count towards the latest groundspeak challenge. This one popped up through the filters and so I had to check it out. Took a rather long time to find the actual pipe but when I did it was just a matter of figuring out the correct technique, getting into the rhythm, and hoping gravity doesn't try to claim the container. A mighty relief when the container was revealed. Quickly signed and returned. Thanks Tim+Jed for a type of pipe puzzle I hadn't seen before, very well crafted. Gets a fav from me. Now off to find another in this series.
Took us way longer than it should have to fine the actual pipe. Then took some tricky fiddling to get it out with the help of mini cachers...
Found it using my McGuyver skills as I had left my kit at home. TFTC and favourite given.
Took way longer than anticipated. Used a few alternative tools and persistence paid off. TFTC
YAY Finally found this one. Took me longer than it probably should have but fun and challenging all the same.
Interesting cache. I like the concept. An easy find. Out and about geocaching with my sister K of J'n'K. TFTC THLN
Found with renelm before his event "Farewell and thanks for all the fish ('n'chips)". FP. Thanks Tim+Jed for this fun cache.
I met popmac here.. meaning.. I met popmac at the wrong entrance to the cache.. we tracked out and found the correct way in.. located the thing and quickly got the cache container out (it took a few tries.. I was being a bit too eager as time was running out for my own event up the road.. haha)

An exercise in extreme stealth tonight as the nearby building was occupied. Took some time to manoeuvr this one out of its hidey-pipe, very happy to turn this sad face upside down. Thanks for the work done in rebuilding this great cache.
All done! A full rebuild was required as everything had disappeared, but it's been completely replaced and is ready and waiting for your visit.
Hi
It appears that this cache has been inactive for quite some time.
With the Local MEGA event soon approaching, I am checking over Temporarily Disabled caches prior to the area being over run with Geocachers.
Is it going to be replaced or should it be archived to make room for possible future caches? If the cache owner does not contact me within Three Weeks, I'll assume the cache needs to be archived.
While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if you haven’t done so already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.
I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future.
Thanks for your understanding,

In light that is was definitely misssing and now disabled
I got the kids to school and completed other tasks and then thought right it is time to look into these pipe dreams which have hung fire for a very long time
This was the third of the pipe dreams to be attempted today but i came away with a DNF ..like previous cachers perhaps it needs checking. It is so sad top the see the once vibrant teachers college all idle with some broken windows etc. it would have made an excellent intermediate school for Karori and relieved the pressure off the full primary schools which hjardly have enough space to to swing a cat as they say!
thank

Found the pipe with the powerful magnet. No nail so used my own. Nothing in the pipe.
After searching the GZ for a bit and seeing no pipe, I noticed the remains of something under the nearby building that met the requirements of this cache. Suspect it has been destroyed by over zealous sub-urban-ites
Good spot and saw where it is very likely to be but the coords are coverd in tree trimmings and no sign of tools.
Had great hopes of working on this one but too many muggles and following others was not willing to search through piles of grass clippings. Maybe next time will have more luck.
Almost ha a Did Not Find Pipe error, however perseverance kicked in. The lawn clippings got all trough my shoes!

Thanks to the Cache Owner who has gone to the trouble of creating this cache, determining the coordinates and then averaging them to make sure they are accurate, placing the cache and registering it online for our enjoyment. Without Cache Owners doing their bit, there wouldn’t be a fun hobby that we all love - so again a big THANK YOU. For our bit, all we need to do is find and log the cache that was carefully placed for our personal enjoyment. As we log it we should consider that the Cache Owner also needs to maintain it - when the log sheet fills up, they must replace it. When the container becomes full of water, they need to empty it. When the container is broken, they need to repair it. When it goes missing they need to find or replace it. Well..... the great news is we can do our bit too - make sure your log doesn’t take an entire page - just a name and date. If full of water, empty and dry the cache as best as possible. Be careful when handling the cache and make sure you replace it where you found it. If it has a bag, seal it. Just remember - the Cache Owner showed respect to you by placing the cache - please respect them and fellow cachers that follow you by being careful with the cache. And if you have a spare log sheet and the cache you are at needs one, please leave it behind. Finally, if the cache does need maintenance, please let the Cache Owner know - you can log a Maintenance Log or you can drop a line to the Cache Owner. Above all - have fun and remember the Geocaching Code. .

Took a bit to find the pipe. Short thinking time, longer manipulation time. Reward obtained. Favourite point allocated.
Had us going for a minute or two. Mowed grass on top of tree trimmings didn’t help. Great cache. Day out with Spider-Bite. Thanks
Found the pipe but wonder hot to get the cache out. After some trials & fails, finally know the function of the two extra tools. Patience is the key. Clever one. TFTC
Great to have the cache presence confirmed for our 2nd attempt, thanks Tim+Jed. It was quite the hunt for team B&D today: rifling through and relocating trimmings — more than needed in hindsight, but I eventually spotted the skulking cache. Then further team effort to extract the contents! Thanks for the hide and committed stewardship.
Yay, success 2nd time around! Thanks Tim+Jed for swiftly confirming that the cache was still there. B spotted it after we'd done quite a bit of 'gardening'. Teamwork made for dreamwork and we soon had the cache in hand, trying not to drop the required tools in the process. TFTC!
