The tree holding the cache has been pruned and the cache is exposed now. Decided to archive, as it is only a matter of time till it goes missing!
Another dot day, another nearby cache, and once again it was dark, this time it was also very late and all locals businesses were closed. Log is almost full, a couple of lines left. Was actually there on placement and it is probably hidden better now than it was when it was first hidden.
Thanks for the cache
Thanks for the cache
Nimbled fingered son did the extraction - nice little cache and nice walk in the sun. Thanks for the cache
Easy enough to find, I did it in the dark with my head torch at night, had to watch out for guy dumping cardboard in the dumpster nearby but no worries otherwise.
Luck was with me this time, got two nearby caches which in the past have been too crowded/watched to achieve. TFTC!
Found originally as part of rebel98 team, now created own account, re-logging as rustynz
See rebel98 log below. Happy to find, sad to see its no longer. Thanks again for the hide.

Found it, went to sign log in car, only to discover we may have been watched by a person waiting in a car at the nearby liquor store. Decided to return cache later in the evening to its hiding place when less people were about. So as it was about to get dark, a quick dash to the GZ and the cache was home! Clever hide, in an obvious place. Thanks for the adventure and the hide
A quick find in some squally night weather as my find for the day. Thanks!

Initially we looked in the wrong place and found remnants of someones purchase from the liquor store nearby. Once we got the GPS sorted it was an easy find, just at the right height for children to stealthily retrieve and return.
had a quick visit a couple of days ago and GPS got a bit confused on me but this morning it pointed me to GZ not problems
Was able to park quite close to this one and made a quick find- the first in the new logbook! TFTC!
Visited cache today, added a new log sheet in a ziplock bag (the last bag had disappeared, hence the wet log sheet!)
Quick find after I found out we were looking in the completely wrong place. TFTC Phasevisitor
No problem with the find or muggles cramping my style. A quick visit to one of my favourite areas of Auckland.

Stopped at local supermarket to get some supplies for our visit to our daughter and for her birthday tea - was surprised to find that supermarkets 'out west' don't sell alcohol - but think it's a good idea... Had to stop at bottle store round the back and this cache just had to be claimed - was fairly exposed so grabbed a bit of ground litter to add a bit of camouflage - but it could all blow off TFTC
Very very easy to find. Hope this one doesn't go missing. Need lots of stealth mode as very busy area.
Found while completing a few caches on the peninsula on a warm balmy evening. TFTC
Visiting phasevisitor from UK spent day around the peninsular loverly walk. Have to make it a favorite as my daughter placed it
Another nice day of Caching in Auckland. Simple is good. Saw the cache as I walked by. Thanks for the hide
Had to out wait an old boy waiting for his mate to come out of the booze shop

Up in Auckland for an event and just picked this one before it started. A nice quick find and relief in the shade

Our first Te Atatu find...found during the nearby 12-12-12 event and after having had a nice chat to the cache owners...nice easy one to begin the day.

Quick find here while participating in the geo-rogaine at the 12-12-12 event. TFTC!
Found after the geo event nearby. No problems here, cache was a bit exposed so tried to rehide it a bit better with some leaves. TFTC
Rather than tea I was looking for a lunch spot and the bakery across the road was just perfect.
MAny thanks

After a nice walk along the nearby coastline we decided to grab a couple more caches on the way home. Last cache for the day. Easy to spot, a little tricky to dislodge. Cheers for the smiley!
Spent a sunny afternoon finding a few caches on the Te Atatu Peninsula. Spotted the cache while approaching GZ. However, had to wait for a couple of parked muggles to vamoose before I could retrieve, sign and replace. TFTC.
This was my first stop on a nice Saturday evening caching run through Te Atatu. Late in the evening I was able to park right at GZ and make the quick find. TFTC!
High muggle area alright, made worse by fact there is a liquor store open 7 days just meters away doing a roaring trade. Fortunately just managed to conceal myself to extract / return
TFTC and the stealth skills!

With cheap flights from Wellington to Auckland, decided to do caching trip with friends for couple of days....... first trip to Auckland, so it was a bit of a juggling thing to do caching and sightseeing all in one go LOL...... TFTC. TNLN.
Mom decided to do caching trip with her friends for couple of days....... first trip to Auckland for us, so it was nice ...... TFTC. TNLN.
No time for tea for me tonight. Just a quick search and find. Well, the options for eating out in the area have certainly changed since I used to live out West! Nicely hidden cache. TFTC, Biggles.

Nice quick find under the watchful eye of the muggle dog outside the local liquor place. TFTC

The liquor store was busy on Friday so some stealth moves were required to get this one. Thanks for the micro-cache!
I knew that today would be a busy day, and I wouldn't get a moment free to cache after 5.45am, till post 10pm, and I didn't really want to be going out after that time...
So the only other option remained - find a cache at like 5.45am... So since I was going out to the gym in New Lynn anyways, I decided to look for the easiest looking park and grab to complete my collection of currently about 34 consec days. And this looked to be not too hard, and close enough, so I went for it.
Left home super early, after reading like the hint and all, and tried to look for the cache after parking close by. Well... shouldn't've listened to the GPS... as that had me going about in circles for a while... But then I looked where I thought it would be, as I had already searched where the GPS said... and there it was after all! Still was a fast find though.

Quick find on the way to the cousins - didn't even need to get the GPS out. TFTC.
13:45 Fast find here, despite there being plenty of people around. TFTC.

Last find of the day for us, and acting as unsuspiciously as possible we managed to grab this without too many suspicious glances! Nice quick find. TFTC.
Last find of the day for us. With one of us on crutches and another with a heavily bandaged leg it was quite easy to find an excuse to stop around GZ and make it look while we were just taking a rest. Snakelion went and made the retrieval. Kinda busy but easy enough to blend in. TFTC Phasevisitor!
Pretty busy area but with a couple of PWD in the team, it was easy to create a distraction while grabbing the cache. Nice hide.
