Dnf. After reading the activity I realised its because it was taken. And i was good to know i was looking in the right place after seeing some log photo. thanks
Said face a lot of construction going on searched all obvious places still no cash to be found.
Hi kaimaikid, I'm another of the Scout leaders from the Welcome Bay Den (along with snowangel). The trees are being cut down in preparation for the underpass construction so my daughter and I grabbing this cache on Friday night before they got to the hiding place. What's the best way to get it back to you? Is the mobile number in it current? Or hide it with one of your other ones?
Found this one rather exposed. Also I had read that it needed a new logbook so have supplied one and also re-hidden and covered so it's as obvious.
TFTC.

#344 - Did a quick detour down here after work, Checked other possible places 1st, until i spotted the obvious place. TFTC
Log is super full there were nowhere to sign! and i had no paper with me!

Disappointing to not find this one. Seemed like it was fairly straight forward given the name. But it wasn't in the obvious place and we spent ages looking through the surrounding area. Did we miss something?
Cache has been on my list for awhile. Good to knock it off while it's still there. Tftc
First cache find traversed to and fro a few times before find. think i have the" bug"now. Will be hunting for others! Neville.
Looking at the map this looked like it was on the track. Instead we hit the creek. Was able to walk round and retrieve the cache on a rainy Saturday.
With 2 previous dnf today I was looking forward to finding this one and after noticing a maintenance attribute I was a little concerned. But no - this was a quick in and out, cache found complete and in good order. Re-hidden as well as can but expected given it's placement but probably does need a new log. TFTC
We discovered the lid tonight at Cubs - and as per the last log have retrieved the rest of this cache. Everything appears to be there so have replaced in original hiding spot but may need new log book
Found this lying out in out in the open & missing its lid, sorry could not find this. As there were children playing around the area, didn't want to re hide as per the hint so have tucked it into the greenery around the right post with the chain attached behind the rubbish bin, a short walk from the car park & entranceway.
In the hood for work. Seeing the Girl Guide hall I figured there was probably a cache nearby and sure enough there was. Nice little spot which has seen a bit of water flow by in the last few weeks. TFTC.
Nice easy find whilst trying to enthuse a group of rangers. This was a first for them. I think they enjoyed it and there will be one or two who will become addicted to this pastime. TFTC
A quick find here. Took a photo of a racing car TB and the other little car here to send to the 9 yr old German owner.
I love these scout caches, hope the idea sticks with some of them. Loved Snow.Angel's log.

Came back to the cache today to have what could be my last look at it. We aren't sure if we will be going back as Welcome Bay Scouts this year, nor how long it will be before our hall is demolished to make way for the new road, so this was in some ways our farewell to it. This was the first cache I found, one morning on a camp a few years ago while all the scouts were still asleep! I have been coming to this hall since I was 5 and started in Pippins, now I'm nearly 20 and a Scout Leader. We have used this cache to help teach the Cubs and Scouts about geocaching before taking them out to find others, it's been fantastic for all of us. Thank you so much for this cache, we love it.
After being on the wrong side of the creek... It was nice to find the cache. Thank you!!!
New Zealand 2103 trip for the Auckland Mega at Albany. Day 7, Sapphire Springs to Rotorua. I started this one on the wrong side of the stream, so after fixing that I had a good search in the dense tree cover before seeing what I was looking for. Thanks.

Easy find with no GPS. Lucky, as I had flat batteries anyway. Log book too full to sign, so I replaced it with a non waterproof type. Contents were completely dry, so this log should survive. (Left original log in there for owner to pick up). Nice area. Thanks for bringing me here. <°))))>
Once I figured which side of the stream it was and how to get to the other side, it was an easy find. Thanks.

Found after a little bit longer walk. Start from the different side of the stream. So first go for the 2 close cahces. Then come back and find better way to the cache. Nice and easy one.
TFTC
PS: the log book is FULL

Took a while to orientate ourselves (living up to our name), but once we did it was a nice quick find. Thanks.
5 days post having my tonsils out i needed sum fresh air so mum took me to look for sum treasure. Nice easy find for beginner cachers. Nice and cool under the trees on a hot day
A quick find here once i made it to the correct side of the stream. Logbook totally full but still found a space to scribble my name and date. New log needed. TFTC!
Like others before us we had tried the other side of the stream on a previous occasion, so this time it was a quick little stroll!
Baden Powell would approve of geocacing and enjoy having this one so close to his den --- they could have a badge for it!!

In the area for kids' sports tournament & thought we'd grab a couple of local caches to go with the medal haul Nice hide, dropped off TB, tftc
TnLn . Found in around fifteen minutes thanks to the 'Sherlock' of the day Jeb and the perseverance of Sas. Glad we never started from the other side tftc!!
Should have read the cache description better as initially got to within 25 meters of the cache but on the wrong side of the stream. A quick drive around the corner and the error was corrected.
Many thanks
Many thanks
Looked for this one the other day without reading the description properly... helps to be on the right side of the stream TFTC
After looking at what I thought was GZ, I followed my gps, and found within 40m of my first guess. TFTF.
Spotted the hide on approach and Kiwileo picked the cache up out of its hiding spot, just beating his younger brother to the grab. On the way out picked a couple of bags of grass for the guinea pigs. TFTC

Darkness came quickly and my mobile was almost flat. Didn't recognise the hint in the gloom and was really going by touch. Found the cache and looked up to gauge location. Got the hint then. TFTC.
Tried to approach from the wrong side of the drain. Soon got in the right place for a quick find. Thanks.
A short walk in the gloom before we tried our second night cache. Found by torch light. TFTC
