14-Oct-18
On a long trip down to the mega with Lis's crew. So for me it good for numbers and favorites caches. With several stops and a lot of caches and several souvenirs up for grabs the trip was the perfect opportunity to get my numbers up and get some challenges that I have qualified for.

14-Oct-18
Another puzzle solved back in September 2016. I must have been doing a lot of puzzles back then as my notes tell me I could work out the co-ordinates by simply reading the code and figuring out the word patterns. This was our last find for the day. Thanks again for all your hides today Smile

15-Sep-18
Although GAR was feeling crook and we'd already spent all day helping our daughter move across town, we stopped by at the final for this hide since we were really close to it. Managed to find fairly quickly which was a bonus. Thanks for the puzzle (another I could solve!) and hide Cats&Dragons!

31-Aug-18
I had solved a couple of these relatively quickly on Thursday as I was planning to come for a bike ride past here today. I had to double back after logging as I almost forgot to grab the bonus info, TFTC

08-Jul-18
Out for a day's caching with Team BOPnJam.
Having this solved for a few weeks, was a good chance to get over to the area to pick up the smile. And others gave me stick for finally having something to contribute to the day..... Well yes i can actually solve puzzles and find caches (at night). Wish it was during the day as it would have been a bit faster. TFTC and the puzzle

08-Jul-18
Out caching with Team BOPnJAM. The aim of the day was to clear as much of Huntly as possible.
On the way home we headed for "just one more" in Hamilton.
This was helped to boost the days total. Well over 120 caches found today and still counting!
TFTC

08-Jul-18
Another big trip planned this time in an effort to obtain all the Hidden Creature Souvenirs. Team BOP (Davidson clan, McJandals, Frogybecaching, TNXPro & myself) joined with a couple of Westies (Jag50&Merlot58) to fill up the van and clear Huntly off the caching map Smile Now we're on our way home - head lamps at the ready - cherry picking our way through Hamilton. We signed the logs as BOPnJAM for expedience and to save on log space.

This one was probably an easier find in the day because it took much longer then it should have at night. TNLNSL. Cheers Cats&Dragons. TFTC.

With Hidden Creature souvenirs up for grabs. A plan was hatched with our Westie buddies. We were all ready for a stormy rainy day but the weather gods were good to us today with no rain until getting home at 10pm. A fun day was had by all and many thanks To all the COs for giving us a reason to come here. We had a nice mixture of cache containers, types, DTs and hides. We signed as BOPnJAM to save room on the logs. Please excuse my cut and paste logs in advance due to numbers. Cheers for the great puzzle and time taken to set up.

05-Jul-18
There is quite a bit of rubbish not too far from GZ, but TFTC.

01-Apr-18
I've come across this code in making digital breakouts so I knew what it was right away. The actual cache took some searching as we had (probably) misinterpreted the clue. Eventual reading some of the other logs led us to trying something else and sure enough it was there. Thanks.

01-Apr-18
Michaelteacher solved this one earlier. We had each solved some for this trip and are hoping to get as many of these as possible. Funnily enough we had a similar puzzle at an escape room we did today. Not sure about the hint though, a bit misleading. Took us a while but at least we found it in the end. Tftc Smile

03-Mar-18
Definitely learnt a lot about different puzzles solving these mysteries. I liked this one. And another smilie. Nice quick find. Much easier than the last one. Tftc

25-Nov-17
Found this one amidst the 5pm traffic. Very busy area. Had a fun afternoon out with a friend.

24-Nov-17
A friend and I solved these puzzles and this afternoon we set off to pick a few of them up. Didn't actually do very well amidst heavy traffic (Friday afternoon) in this area and not much luck at two others. Think one of them went AWOL and we had a spot of cache blindness at the other... reassuring to find this one, TFTC Smile

27-Aug-17
In Hamilton for a Daffodil show yesterday. Early start for a big day caching, a quick stop as I headed out into the country side. Thanks Cats&Dragons for the cache.

18-Jun-17
Firs cache for a day of picking up solved puzzles around Hamilton. Enjoyed the variety of puzzles in this series. Had to visit twice as we forgot the bonus first time around. TFTC.

03-Jun-17
Limited-time picking up puzzle caches. Quick solve some time ago and relatively quick find. TFTC.

09-Apr-17
Geohubby solved the puzzle but doesn't know too much about the finding of the final since geowife did it, while hubby looked in the wrong place. Fun little puzzle which was quickly solved and then a few minutes to find the final. Thanks for the puzzle and cache, good series.

02-Mar-17
Quick find and solve for 1400th cache and 394th mystery cache . I have been on sweep of the area grabbing what I can in between business calls Greetings from oz TFTC

28-Aug-16
I was out and about on a beautiful day and thought why not do a bit of caching. This was my Third find for the day. I needed a mystery for a souvenir but was not having any luck with the three other attempts. This was a more easy find. TFTC.

13-Jun-16
Was looking for this one in the wrong place for a while (as usual) and was getting some weird looks, but luckily found it eventually. Lid is cracked. Thanks for the puzzles and the cache Smile

12-Jun-16
This was another last minute solve in bed last night. Not sure if this is an actual code or a made up one? Figured it was easier to just nut out rather than research. The find was super easy. I got spotted emerging from the bush after replacing the cache - got a strange look. TFTC

11-Jun-16
Popped out this morning for a quick find, as I was staying nearby.
I think we've had several visits to Hamilton since I solved this one, so it's nice to finally complete the job.
Thanks for setting this up

25-Apr-16
Nice to find this and always a puffed chest when you have success thanks for the cache

26-Mar-16
Crusaderwoman did the hard bit - I just got us here on the way to the rugby....

Solved this ages ago & just needed a moment to pick it up. Easily found (even in the dark!). Took it back to the car to sign the log & then all these baby spiders appeared - eeek! Swiftly signed & returned to prevent a full on spider infestation! SL. TNLN. TFTP. TFTC. Looking forward to getting the rest in the series so that I can get the bonus!

04-Dec-15
Went for an early morning walk to find this one, despite plenty of workers about we managed to find this one and get the clue for the final cache. Clue had fallen out of cache but we put it back in the container. TFTC

04-Dec-15
Was worried when I saw the construction nearby but cache is still safe. TFTC

13-Sep-15
After a fairly full on day yesterday I decided to cruise a bit today and to take things as they come. i’d solved all the ones in this series and made a concentrated effort to find them all, giving a few trads along the way the cold shoulder. Found it on the ground, replaced it back in a more fitting place, the lid is cracked but otherwise everything's ok. Cheers and TFTC

25-Jul-15
Works all done and good byes said and now it was time to head to Hamilton and have a bit of a play heading down. I had to meet a friend at 5pm and I left Auckland at 9am. So a 8 hours should be enough time to get to Hamilton Big Grin. I have had this one solved since the Auckland MEGA. I have seen this code before. It was time to grab this one as I was in town visiting friends. I parked nearby and made a quick grab and sign.

Thanks for the cache.

Last summer the idea was born to visit [Green]'New Zealand'[/Green], together with [url=http://coord.info/PR3NXJG][red]'MimiNemo'[/red][/url] Razz
After some important decisions regarding the beginning of our trip, the flights, the general route and the car were made, the most important question was still unanswered: which caches can we visit during our tour [?]
To get an answer for this topic I was fetching almost every cache from both islands Red Face[8)][:X]
[url=http://coord.info/PR3NXJG][red]'MimiNemo'[/red][/url] and I love [Teal]'Geo-Arts'[/Teal]...so we added all these cache series to our wish list Cool
After this decision was made this list was more than 300 puzzle caches long...unsolved puzzle caches Surprised
Two weeks before Christmas it was getting time to start solving all these mystery caches Wink
Even with the different language I could find almost every solution Cool
In the case I was not so successful I was contacting some of the CO's...and was always getting help from them...many thanks for this support [:X]

During the following weeks our cache list was growing and growing...meanwhile more than 1000 caches long...too long for a simple bookmark list from GC Sad
Time to get our route and caches in sync...time to save the PQ's to our Garmins...time to start this holiday:

Chapter 23: [red]Hamilton[/red] to [green]Thames[/green]
Today we were exploring some of the highlights of the [Navy]'Coromandel Peninsula'[/Navy] [:X]
On our way we also stopped for some interesting caches Wink

This unknown cache was one of them Razz

I would like to thank all the cache owners for showing us these great places and maintaining all these caches,

Together with [url=http://coord.info/PR3BC8B][red]'Dev46'[/navy][/url][/red] I was on a 'sightseeing-tour' through lovely [Green]'New Zealand'[/Green] Wink
During our great time we could see a lot of beautiful places and we also could find 'some' caches in the area...this was one them [:X]

Many thanks to all CO's for all these nice caches CoolBig Grin

25-Jan-14
Sixth find of the series this is addictive I'm sure I will be late for dinner although they expect me to be as I'm always late for dinner to many caches on the way from Rotorua to Auckland . Only one left now and then the bonus can't stop now have to finish what I started.

09-Nov-13
We're proud of ourselves solving all the sc# puzzles. A muggle came out to the letterbox and asked did we have enough water,. Very thoughtful but I think he was checking that we were not dodgey.

31-Oct-13
#6494. Thought we'd start with the SC series of puzzles to see if we could get the coords for the final. So far so good. TFTC.

31-Oct-13
Despite there being just one place where the cache could be hidden, it still took us a wee while to track down. StreetWalker spotted it, where I had already looked Red Face, I don't seem to do well with these sorts of hides. TFTC.

Id seen that code before so the solution was quickly determined! Big Grin

Another find to Gunnie69.

This is Day 4 of our trip to the Land of the Long White Cloud for the 2013 NZ MEGA event in Auckland. I joined Gunnie69 and Kaisho53 for a fun packed 5 days of geocaching adventures. The day was in the Waikato region doing the Kiwi Art Project caches and some others in Hamilton.

27-Oct-13
Ghostgums, Kaisho53 and I pulled up at GZ to find another car in front of us, parked immediately adjacent to GZ... Ah, it's ok, they're cachers who have either just nabbed the container, or are about to move in... Wink We waited for a while but there was no movement. Hmm,ok. Maybe they're not... Surprised

We assessed the situation and figured that with the cover provided by GZ, we could get the container without being spotted so while Ghostgums kept guard, Kaisho53 and I moved in. It took a bit of a hunt before I spotted the container, then I retrieved it and took it back to the car for business. All reassembled, I nipped in and dropped the cache back in to its lair. Back in the car, we pulled away and the muggles were still staring into their phones... All good... Big Grin

Cheers Cats&Dragons.

Not busy on this Sunday, although heaps of cars at a nearby property. Took a few minutes to find this one, but it was just where I was looking. A representative fav for this one as I am really enjoying deciphering the codes. I've come home to finish the last three, and have even got Steed involved- he usually leaves the puzzles to me, but we had fun semaphoring across the living room.

On the hunt for my 1200th cache find today. No strategy or plan... Just driving and picking off caches as I go.

Another puzzle solved some time ago. Just enough time for this cache before heading homeward. A quick find in a fairly quiet area. Enjoyed this puzzle and series. Will be back for the others soon. TFTC.

The team and I headed down to Hamilton today with the aim of completing this cool puzzle series. The solutions have been sitting in my old puzzle book for over a year now. About time to revisit Hamilton and complete the formalities on these caches, I think!

Okay, working from a new play book now, to determine find order. No doubt we are doing this less than optimally!Anyway, I was quickly onto the solution here as I have done several verisions of this one previously. Another super quick find. Cheers for the hide!
