My son asked if I could take him to Tatuanui today. I jumped at the opportunity as I knew I could collect some solved puzzles and start my scientific souvenir journey. I left Whangarei on Sunday to stay in Auckland that night and break the trip up. I was very lucky to pick up 3 ftf's on the way down to Auckland.
Today we left at the leisurely hour of 9am to avoid peak inner city traffic. These last 3 archived puzzles were the main target of the day. I was also keen to turn a few other other Hamilton puzzles into smiles. This puzzle I'd solved in September 2016. I had collected some of the others on my Mega trip to Turangi but was disappointed that the rest got archived shortly afterwards. I was hoping I'd find them today and was very pleased I did. It was actually just lying there as obvious as anything which surprised me. Thanks for this old puzzle

Had the solves in a list on my GPSr and had not noticed they have since been archived. Cache still there and I signed the log this morning. I was chuffed to be able to solve it. Thanks Cats&Dragons.
Starting to get the hang of these puzzles. A quick solve earlier in the week, and nice clear hint and easy find while out for a bike ride along here today, cheers
I must admit I can't remember how I solved this puzzle, it must have been a while ago, but here we are in the Tron so figure it would be rude not to at least have a go at a few of these. Mrs Tuolei asked for the hint to which I replied "geochecker" and that's as close as we got to an actual hint. Fortunately, her 20.20 vision is always a great bonus and cryptic and rambling clues had no use to her.
Another puzzle knocked off here, good to get a roll on. Thanks for the cache, all good here, and nothing to be concerned about.

Wow another one to the growing collection today. Totally enjoying the day so far. Tftc
I solved this a while back, but it sat on my solved puzzles list until today. I actually searched at the right place but missed it the first time around. TFTC.
Yay after having solved this for a while finally found a time that suited my friend and I to go hunt for some of these puzzles. Really liked these puzzles
Out with a friend today in Hamilton in the heat to pick up a few of these caches. Nice to be able to change a previous blue frown to a yellow smiley! We had a great morning out, TFTC
There has been a lot of vegetation removed at GZ and a new fence constructed. I think the CO should check whether the cache is still there.
A friend and I solved these puzzles and this afternoon we set off to pick a few of them up. Didn't actually do very well amidst heavy traffic (Friday afternoon) in this area and couldn't find this one. I suspect that it has gone AWOL due to renovations in the area, time will tell....
Have had this solved for a long time ...rainy day stuff for me ...pondered for a while then it all fell into place and geo checker was happy with me. I was over this way on an errand... so it only follow suit to grab a few of the solved puzzles....school holidays so all quiet at GZ and soon had the cache in hand and signed ..thanks Cats and Dragons for the puzzle
I started this series a year or two ago as a novice cacher and puzzle solver. We were over in the Tron today and and as an added bonus we had time to find a few solved caches. 3 of these to find plus the bonus. Parked up by a daycare centre and waved to the kids through the fence, but was glad that it was school holidays and no one around at gz. Cache soon found and all in good condition. Thanks for the puzzle an cache placement Cats&Dtagons
Thanks for replacing this cache; managed to get back today and pick up the final code for the bonus. Now all I have to do is figure out where we put all of the rest. Thanks for another great puzzle series.
have had this solved for a long time but it wasnt there, saw it had been replaced so thought i would grab it today, tftc
Like the last visitors we could not find this one. Looks like there may have been a bit of paint applied here recently so cache may have been muggled? CO informed.
Together with arbor95 I am on a holiday tour in New Zealand.
We are two Germans, old friends since a long time. Together we visited a lot of other countries in the past, even before we started geocaching. [^]
For our trip we usually looking for some extraordinary caches.
Therefore we had mostly a lot of fun.
Here we looked without success and didn't find it.
Thank You very much for this geocache, for the challenge and for the maintaining.
Greetings from tripleclaus to Cats&Dragons.

Thanks for this great series of puzzles and caches. Almost finished this series. Was looking way in the wrong place at first but got there in the end
A month or so ago, I printed off some puzzles to solve while we enjoyed the autumn sunshine. Got onto the right track pretty quickly so it was an easy solve with the help of my phone.
Today I'm hoping to find the series so that I can try to solve the bonus. So I was disappointed when I saw an empty geo-container at GZ. I looked around some more and found the lid, but no clue. Then spotted another geo-container. So looked some more and a log book appeared. Still no clue though. Then I remembered a couple of other clue 'styles' and hunted with a different focus and uncovered the clue!
Will message CO details of how I left the cache for fear of giving too much away. The hint still applies. Pleased to not have to log a DNF. Thanks for another fun puzzle cache!

Omg! Must have looked dodgy ducking into the bushes. Had to "text" while a few muggles went past. Accurate coordinates & good hint helped. Cache was nice & dry. SL. + a domino, - nothing. TFTP. TFTC!
#194. Solved series a while ago. Quick locate but got stabbed by a defensive flax in mid stride. Tftc.
Lovely day for hunting caches and thanks to commitment from 4robf4 the cache was located. TFTC
After a fairly full on day yesterday I decided to cruise a bit today and to take things as they come. i’d solved all the ones in this series and made a concentrated effort to find them all, giving a few trads along the way the cold shoulder. wasn't all that easy to get to but a bit of perseverance paid off. Cheers and TFTC
A wet night and no cars about until of course we tried to stealthily find this one then it was like the auckland motorway! A bit of walking back and forth and we got to get looking. A good laugh digging around for this one. Pen failed us with log so a sort of date and a dribble circle signature was best we could do. Tftc. We had a good laugh my sister and fellow cacher evisser8
Found it! Possibly looking dodgy with Osbourneroadoddballs at night! Possibly choose a dry night to solve this one! Great fun! TNLN
Works all done and good byes said and now it was time to head to Hamilton and have a bit of a play heading down. I had to meet a friend at 5pm and I left Auckland at 9am. So a 8 hours should be enought time to get to Hamilton . I have had this one solved since the Auckland MEGA. I was in town and wanted to grab some puzzles and finish off a few challenges and collect some goodies other than trads. I looked in the wrong prickly spot first and had to wait for a police muggle to drive by before ducking into the bushes once more.
Thanks for the cache.

Mrs nzk enjoyed solving the puzzle and we are enjoying the finding. Thanks for the hide.
We come over from Whangamata for a day out in Hamilton and the weather was fine so it was time to finish some puzzles that I had solved last year TFTC
2nd time around a night find not so many muggles. After analysing GZ a bit more 2nd search was alot easier.
T4TC&clue
T4TC&clue
Carried out maintenance with bonus clue included in place, please read hint and replace as found
Hope that you enjoy your find
Hope that you enjoy your find
Search for a good half hour with no luck but will back as is the last piece of the puzzle i need to get the bonus.
1.20pm - Cant get over how many new homes have been built in this area. Had to dodge a few muggles here but soon had in bag. All clues in tact so will have to solve the Mad Scientist. SLTFTC
Last one in the series got all my clues will head to Auckland now for dinner then work out the bonus and get on way home tomorrow . Thanks
#6503. Luckily it was late morning when we got here, which meant the muggle factor was quite low. Still felt a bit conspicuous searching for it, and was pleased when I spotted it.
This hide was in a tricky spot, especially if the wrong time is chosen. Could have taken a while, but Streetwalker tracked it down fairly quickly. TFTC.
This was a great puzzle to solve, we had heard in the past about using it, so it was good to be able to put it into action.
It proved to be a very difficult search at GZ. Eventually located the cache (it hadn't been placed according to the hint).
Replaced it as per hint - so hopefully the next cacher will find it a little easier. Thank you .

With some help from a fellow Geocacher Katy King who pointed us in the right direction. ie where do we even start. We solved this mystery and with the help of the junior geocaches we found the cahce. TFTC.
Squirrel Nutcase hid it well. After a fairly brief look I left steed to it as two of us looked pretty conspicuous and he was better camouflaged than me. He finally emerged triumphant. Six done, one more to solve before the bonus. Thanks, these have been fun.
Out and about enjoying some nice autumn weather. Didn't plan this trip very well, so ended up hitting caches as I remembered them.
Just up the road... Don't know when this puzzle was solved. Has been sitting on the collection pile for ages. Arrived at ground zone expecting to look low. Spotted the cache and wiring almost immediately. Tried to hide a little deeper on return. Glad to also collect some flax seed on the way back to the car. TFTP and TFTC.

Took me quite a while searching to find this cache. However pleased to find it and get another one in the series located. SL TFTC
Got to GZ and thought it would be a lot harder to find than it was. Thanks.
Not sure if the CO's and me will be talking much together if they continue with hides in that stuff, LOL. This turned out to quite a hard one to find, not where I was expecting it to be at all. Liked the puzzle though, and pleased (on reflection) that I persisted with the hunt.

The team and I headed down to Hamilton today with the aim of completing this cool puzzle series. The solutions have been sitting in my old puzzle book for over a year now. About time to revisit Hamilton and complete the formalities on these caches, I think!
Last find before the final. On target to complete our goal! I don't actually remember anything about the puzzle or the solve on this one. I assume that it was relatively straight forward...? Anyway, this was the hide that took the most looking. Abundant vegetatation to contend with. After a few minutes I changed my angle of attack and made the find. Cheers for the hide!

Cool little hide, grabbed ay night, I forgot to record the clue, but luckily the hide is within walking distance of my home so I'll pop out another evening to retrieve it. Not the first I've solved in this collection by the first find, hope to pick the rest in the next two weeks.
Spent the day solving some puzzles so thought I'd cross some off tonight with Z-master, #9 for the night. TFTC
Attempting to clear my solved puzzles list. It's getting rather long.
Nice easy find as the gps died, only a quick glance at the map and SUCCESS!!!

Final solve for this mission - all seven solved in less than an hour we were on such a roll! This hide nearly had us though - but not for long! TFTC!
The first of many puzzles I have solved that I need to find the caches. Won't say I walked straight to it! But got there in the end. Tricky little container. TFTP & TC
Solved this one ages ago. Had looked previously but this time managed to find it fairly easily. Thanks very much Cats&Dragons
Found thank to an assist. Fairly quiet out early this morning so no muggle problem. Now to the Bonus!
The last in the series for us. Now we have all the clues, it's time to work out what we need to do for the bonus cache. Thanks for the effort put into making this series.
A nearby bell rang out whilst we were signing the log but managed to escape without being muggled. Yeah! TFTP & TFTC
Happily this was part of our puzzle clean-up. Great fun thanks. (Contents of cache spread around so we tidied it up and replaced carefully. )
Groaned as we approached, thinking we were going to have to search flax then bashed a bit through to find the cache. A good series that we have enjoyed
A few muggles around this morning. Neat cache. #7 on the search for all 8! Time to put my white coat on and figure out this last puzzle
We were in Hamilton for the weekend to attend the 'Why Not An Event Cache'. We had spent several nights solving the puzzles in this series in preparation for this trip. Parked close to GZ and after a little searching came up with the cache. This is a very busy road so we had to pick our moments to put the cache back. We had just done so and was heading back to our vehicle when we realised we had not got the clue for the final. Bugger. Back to the cache for a second time!! TFTC.
There were some muggles outside their house, directly across the road. Didn't try to attempt.
All found - really enjoyed the series - thought we had one to go but realised it was the bonus - we will be back to pick this one up Thanks for this puzzle and cache and the series.
One of many puzzles that were collected with Trout-fly today. Loved this series and heaps of fun working out the puzzles. Thanks for the cache and the puzzle
Fairly quiet here this morning. Only had to wait for two muggles with their dog to walk past and the area was clear.
+ a marble, - nothing.

A straight forward solve, but not so for the find. Pleased to eventually spot it so we could move on to the Bonus. TFTC.

Last one before the bonus, had a go at this one first thing in the morning but DNF'd it and left it till last, could not do the final without it so had to give it another go, nice puzzle and tricky hide, TNLN TFTC.

Solved the entire series on the afternoon they were published, but was stuck at work at the time (not working very hard, obviously!). Really enjoyed all the puzzles - not too hard, great theme, and I learnt some new stuff too. Perfect!
Finally got round to heading out with 5-year-old son today to find all these caches.
This was our seventh of the afternoon. Know this area quite well as we head to school this way. This was the hardest find of the afternoon - so many passing people, so I must have untied and retied my shoes a dozen times, while crouched near GZ trying to peek into the likely spot at the same time as looking as if I had a perfectly good reason for having stopped there! We were considering giving up when a bit more of a rummage around revealed the hiding place - by now we were fairly sure what sort of thing we would be looking for, which made it a bit easier.
Decided not to swap anything today, so just signed the log.
Thanks for a really great puzzle and cache - we really appreciate the trouble you have gone to in setting up this nice little series.

Had a mission to find this one, CB came along and found it instantly. So annoying as this was my third visit to find it.
met the caretaker. Who was at gz. He seems very interested in the concept of geocaching. Was looking at buying one and use it at his work. He also found the cache for me.he took down some details about geocaching
