Time to move along

28-Nov-13
Had us going for awhile but with the 20m out hint we were right onto it. Thanks for a great find!

25-Oct-13
Spent today sight seeing along the coast, from Freo to Cottesloe.
We found a good variety of cached hides, with great views.
Managed to find this one with Bundys new co-ords which were spot on with our GPS.
Thanks for the cache, FelixII.

23-Oct-13
Found it. Pic of people searching up near the graffiti didn't help. Glad I looked around. Now I gotta run to catch my train. TFTH.

ITS A MIRACLE. GOD BE PRAISED!!!!!!.

Dead tree, what dead tree. We searched, and searched, as it seemed this one was not where the arrow pointed. With the wind howling, and the rain starting to come down, time was of the essence.

We opened our eyes, and made the find. But whats this, green leaves, healthy tree. This tree certainly isn't dead. Its alive and kicking.

Either other cachers have been premature in their assumption of the trees health- what no arborists amongst us?, or they have planted a new one.

Co ordinates still about 20 metres out. My find was at S32 01.754 E115 45.022

Cheers

Bundy

Those logs certainly helped!. TCTF on a nice sunny day.

17-Aug-13
The coords were out quite substantially, but the previous logs directed me to the right place. It seems weird visiting here when there is nobody about. TFTC FelixII

16-Aug-13
Nice one tftc.

03-Aug-13
Same as everyone else, 20m out, dead tree.

18-Jul-13
Quick find once I realised it was at the dead tree. TFTC!

16-Jul-13
Lovely and sunny at the moment on a winters day! Saw it by chance as we were leaving - iPhone was a good 10 m out!!! TFTC

13-Jul-13
Congratulations, FelixII. This cache still alludes me after several attempts - with and without the shrub. Very annoying as it's in 'my' territory and it has a low difficulty factor too. Sometimes the little buggers just don't want to be found. Regards, way-finder

13-Jul-13
I can only assume the co-ords are out. The tree was dead but still in place. Perhaps we need to get some concerted effort going on new co-ords. The cache is right there it's not camoed its not hidden, if we can get you to the right spot it will be easy as it was designed. Twisted

11-Jul-13
Checked on cache today and its still there in plain sight.

11-Jul-13
Still waiting to be found. The dead tree actually makes the find easier

DNF @ 16:17.

Received a description of where this one should be hidden shortly after my last DNF, so visited here again today to see if I could tick it off my list.

Unfortunately I was unable to locate it even after searching other nearby objects too!

I suspect this one is lost in the leaves or was muggled when the small tree was cut down...

16-Jun-13
DNF @ 09:22!

DNF #1 on a caching day on foot in North Fremantle to Cottesloe!

Arrived in this area and admired some of the artwork before approaching GZ and having a look at the object that previous logs had hinted at...

Had a rummage in the leaves without finding anything. Then noticed a photo from a previous log that would have found (or lost) it if it was there!

As I had a lot planned and the area was starting to get a little busy, I decided to move on to the next cache.

A message from the CO later in the day suggested I was looking in the wrong place - I'll be back!

26-May-13
Thanks anyway

24-May-13
Was hungry. Dnf.

29-Apr-13
The little tree at this one is dying, and the grating is totally full of leaves, making searching for this one extremely difficult. Didn't want to disturb things too much as it would probable dislodge the cache and lose it altogether. Is probably still there somewhere though. Maybe the CO could check on it sometime, and maybe reposition it to another spot nearby???

Nice cache easy find took about 2 minutes to find.TFTC TFTH.

16-Feb-13
In light of the low number of finds of the last few months and 2 DNF's we decided to head out this afternoon on this glorious day to do some cache maintenance and check on this one.

Cache exactly where it should be and log still has a few spaces left, so no replacement left.

Just waiting to be found guys. Razz

15-Feb-13

12-Jan-13

21-Jul-12
With a few DNF's we asked a geo friend to drop past and they assure us that the cache is still in place awaiting the next lucky finder!

Thanks Mate.

04-Jun-12
Took us bit longer than it probably should but eventually got there! Place was pretty deserted on the afternoon of the inaugural WA Day!

02-Jun-12
Out and about with trevkevred today. GPS kept jumping around, so we searched one spot first, then the next, then another, when I laid my fingers on something metal, which moved yaaaay and went whoooop down the pipe never to be seen again! ooooops!!

Called a friend for confirmation, only to receive the message back: nope, its not there. Phew, lucky, or Mrs Felix would have to take a drive down the deep south again Smile so we turned around and after a few minutes found the little devil in its hiding spot, where we had looked before!

09-Feb-12
Out early on a short (ish) Caching run with Felix to seek out some of the newly
published listings.

We started off in Dianella, to grab the seven new ones.
Then headed West towards Freo.

I had driven to this Cache before, only to find two white vans and workman parked directly at GZ.
So never managed a search.

Today all was clear....so walked up the Boardwalk to GZ.

You would think having the Cache owner close by would give me an added advantage,
but she purposely lingered back in the distance to watch me search.

Fortunately she did not have to wait to long, found it on the third item.

Many thanks for the Cache, and for driving me to GZ and for providing refreshments....
pretty good service .....Big GrinBig GrinBig Grin

05-Feb-12
All these people, why aren't they walking on the other side... got it eventually. TFTH.

04-Feb-12
FINALLY FOUND. Back again for what is likely the 5th or 6th visit determined not to fail this time. I was just into executing a detailed search when the Mrs goes "There it is"!! Always impressed with how obvious they are when pointed out...
TFTC and this one's off the list at last.

29-Jan-12
Fairly easy find, muggles sitting in apartments opposite must have wondered what I was doing.

23-Jan-12
What a scorcher today is - lucky I had a break and found the little blighter quickly.

20-Jan-12
Ooops forgot to log this one, found with K-Max on our wander down the west coast.

TFTC

08-Jan-12
Relatively quick find as there's on a few metal surfaces in the area to search. Forgot my pen but will be back to log.

03-Jan-12
Felt a bit exposed but no one seemed to be home today. TFTH

01-Jan-12
This one took long then it should have. But with a little direction we soon hand it in hand, even if we had looked in the same place about 10 times.
Thanks FelixII

01-Jan-12
Gotcha!

31-Dec-11
Could not find looked very where though what a great dissapointment.

Read all the clues and everything.

06-Dec-11
The place was deserted. Yep, I could go anywhere. Except the lightning was coming down and so was the rain. No muggles. Perfecto. I'll spare the nano rant this time as it was found in a flash. No pun intended.
Thanks to FelixII and clear skies from TeamAstro.
PS - check the pic. Not sure I should be driving there SurprisedSurprised

27-Nov-11
tftc sl. quick find on the way home with geo-grandson.
had to shift car so muggles on balcony couldn't see me.

16-Nov-11
When I have a bad round of golf I call it a “quokka round” meaning it was so awful that I am going to advertise my clubs for sale in the local Quokka newspaper. Today was a “quokka caching” day finding only 1 out of 5, and the GPS stopped working as well to add to our woes. Thank heavens the sun was shining.

15-Nov-11
nice easy find on a sunny tuesday waiting for the kids to finish school.

13-Nov-11
We prepared for a lengthly sarch but made the find quite quickly. One just cant explain dumb luck!! Nice new area. Thnaks for bringing us here. TFTC

06-Nov-11
Three visits over the past week, the last with the Mrs who ALWAYS finds the cache - not this time. Checked every square mm of the item at GZ and the adjacent ones, still no find. Maybe there is a magical hiding place that we are not seeing...... or its simply gone?

28-Oct-11
Found it

19-Oct-11
It is a long walk from "Beware of the Trolls" cache to here so finding another good hide made it worth it. The unexpected views in the area were just great. Co ords spot on, so the find was easy. It is great the places you can hide a micro. Well maybe it is time to head back to Perth! How good is this!!! the train station is just there!!! Excellent. Thanks for a perfectly located cache!!! OH and a good hide.

15-Oct-11
15/10 Not Found at 08:30... I lost patience after 15 minutes. Smart new neighbourhood growing here. Thanks for the hunt.

11-Oct-11

After finding the new cache near Claremont I came down here to find this cachge. The GPS wasn't giving me a good GZ so just searched every object until I found it.

Thanks for the cache.

29-Sep-11
Went back today with cobpen for a day out. While waiting for him to find it,I was shocked to see some of the aluminium bench seats are starting to corrode already. How long will they last? Probable not as long as the cache. [:(!]

29-Sep-11
Took a while until the GPS settled but got it in the end.
Thanks FelixII

27-Sep-11
wild and windy day...struggle to stay on bike...quick find...cheers FelixII

25-Sep-11
Self doubt is my worst enemy. First I saw this on the Web at 6 am and thought no, it is too close to chwiliwr territory. Then at 7am with no logs I rushed off to have a go. Spent 30mins and gave up thinking I have got the coords wrong (no boards).
Went home checked coords (they were right) so armed with self confidence went back and found within 5 mins at 8.35am. Which was lucky because as I was sitting down SquALeD rocked up.....Phew I got my **FTF**. SquALeD insisted I rehide the cache while he went for a ride around the block. Nice to meet you SquALeD and thanks for the cache FelixII.Big Grin

25-Sep-11
Saw this and went out for another pushie ride in the sun. Was getting to GZ when me GPS started pointing to a gent sitting on a bench..lol. "Found it?" I enquired "yes hhaha" came the reply from Vidahoy....beaten!..arg!

So 2TF for me but no matter, A good ride, a hunt and a good talk with Vidahoy!...TFTH
