After the recent transfer of Grandeeze caches to us we went out on a maintenance run. Checked on this one after a report of it missing. Unfortunately it has gone and due to the location and increased traffic on the road not getting any slower, we have decided to archive it rather than replace due to safety concerns.
Cache is not there!! We knew where to look for it but no goods here. Plus Alex-thesquirrel has found it in the past
Tricky! A bit of a precarious location though. Lots of traffic travelling at high speed !
My 2nd find for the day. Indeed a lovely view of the Barossa, even backlit in the morning SL at 08:17 on Sat. 13 May 2017. Cache and contents are good and dry [^] TFTC Grandeeze
Found during our holidays in Australia
We have been to the winery Pindarie and had some very good food and tasted wine. The view from the restaurant is great.

A quick park and grab. TFTC!
Unfourtunately the lid has broken off the hinge and the log book is very wet.

Went for a tour around the Barossa and thought we might try a last cache on the way home. Lovely view from here. TFTC
Our last full day in the Barossa so we headed out to grab as many finds as we could. Took all the back country lanes - our type of caching. Thanks Grandeeze
The last day of our SA caching holiday with richlink dawns and we are off to places a bit farther a field in a quest to grab as many smilies as we can in the time we have left. Thanks for your cache Grandeeze.
Had done the one earlier on our trip down Gomersal road and another quick one before heading to Sepplesfield. Lovely view. Thanks.
Tftc great find abut unsafe spot so be careful when crossing the road but good cache.
TFTC - fun trek out with Aprikot to find this one - road safety is important as an unexpected muggle carrier nearly knocked them over
Easy find, but a bit of a stretch for me, but when a cache is to hand, what is a bit of barb wire digging into the body! Cache #2347.
A quick find with the squirrel after a christmas dinner with family in Tanunda, tftc
The day started with meeting up with Semik and Locus Cache, piling into Harry and heading north!
First stop Nuri!! Was great, as always, to catch up with some Smiling Tomcats and talk for hours!!! Next stop was some lunch in Angaston to fuel up for our Girls Day Out Adventure!
From there, it was a fun and bouncy ride in Harry to part of the Five Oh Series before heading somewhere special for our 100th cache! We diverted slightly to take some photos of the dust storm swirling around the Barossa after the recent fires.
Semik took us to Stone Garden for our first major milestone and what a perfectly special place it was! Stunning views and so peaceful. It was awesome to share this with two awesome chicks
After logging our 100th cache, we then kept going to log our Most Finds in a Day (50!) Driving round the Barossa and surrounding hills was simply stunning and a great day - we were completely knackered by the days (nights) end ??
Thanks for the cache!

A quick find on the way to 4WD muster in Peterborough. Enjoyed the views. Thanks Grandeeze.
When visiting family in the Barossa you have to find a few caches. Found 10 today. We were able to stop for this one today as the traffic wasn't too bad. TFTC!
Very quick drive by find in the rain. Had to dodge the traffic as on wrong side of road. TFTC SL
Found it with CherryRose on our 3 days of caching fun in Lyndoch. Very wet. Time for CherryRose to get out of the car.
Out for an afternoon with Purrfect Di and geoson Sebastbat and couldn't resist stopping by a few caches
Nice view, not the best parking! A quick find and sign though

Lets do something on a Sunday drive never worry its a freezing cold day but nothing stops cachers going out. So out with Squash99. found quick as when pulled up could spot the cache. Thankyou for the views TFTC
On a cold day why not go for a drive, picking up a odd few caches in the Barossa area. Easy find with TheKellyGang
Owl and AndyColombia were heading home from the geocaching birthday party, caching as they went. Owl (who was driving) nearly didn't stop for this one as there really isn't anywhere safe to park, but finally consented to a U-turn and a cautious stop in the only possibility. Made looking at the views almost impossible, as she wanted to get out of there fast enough to not get clocked.
After attending 15 years of Geocaching and on the way back home, with the company of Dr Owl we decided to grave a couple of caches, it wasn't an easy spot to park, so it make it a bit hard to enjoy the view but any way we enjoyed for a couple of minutes TFTFun
A quick stop-and-grab at 17:12 on the way home from the Barossa after a full day of caching with Koolmoose. TN, LN, SL. Thanks.
this one was a little hard to get to due to traffic but go it in the end
thanks for the find
thanks for the find
Nice drive home from work thought I would stop and pick this one up. Nice views. TFTC.
Sunday afternoon = less traffic. We were on wrong side of road. Found with mrbuzzy
Parked on the opposite side of the road to the cache and had to find an opportune time to run across and retrieve it without raising any suspicion. Fortunately the road wasn't too busy on a Saturday morning. TFTC Grandeeze!
Such a beautiful part of Australia it is nice to stop and take it all in. Cache was soon in hand and off we go to enjoy the valley.
A quick stop and find at a cache that was on the right side of the road (even though it was on our left) as we headed back to Adelaide after attending an Engagement Party at Tanunda yesterday and stayed overnight. TFTC.
Had to time it just right in between traffic flows
to nip out and grab this one! TFTC

Quick stop and grab in between traffic. Lovely view, be careful of the barbed wire fence!
Staying in Gawler, on our 2nd trip around Australia.
Decided on a country drive, as the weather was beautiful today.
Cache was found quickly, and in good condition.
Many thanks for the hunt today, Grandeeze.

South Australian OZ Mega 2014 in Murray Bridge. A Twelve day trip to and from the mega. Plenty of caching along the way and near Murray bridge. A great time with lots of cachers all over the place to make for a very entertaining period.
I joined up with Sol de Lune for the lead up to the Mega and the mega itself. Following the caches around the countryside has been a wonderful experience in and around the Barossa. Thanks.

A couple of days out from the SA Mega and Albida and I were on a run around the area grabbing a few caches. No real problems with any of them and the ones we attempted were in good shape. I think we will need another week to make any sort of dent in the numbers around here though......
Thanks for this one......
