Cache find: 202Very quickly found here 2 for 2 the cache is in good condition all good TFTC
I was heading over to the southern suburbs to visit family and had decided to go a little early and find a few caches. Close to being out of time for cache hunting, I thought I would try for another three Trads in the series. This one was quite quick and relatively easy... apart from having Google Maps trying to get me to drive through a factory! Thanks **Earthbound Chief** for the cache... and the series.
I started the series earlier this week having come here by train, but didn't get this far. Today I was in the car so did the 3 further out, glad I did, as it's not a great area to walk around. This one took me a while to find, despite the hint, but got there eventually. I'll be back at some time to do some more. It's a great story/Event indeed.
Found it on the second try. I looked in the wrong spot yesterday. Today I searched harder and looked at alternatives.
Reading the heading.. reminds me of John Snow.. maybe the aliens met him too? What a crazy story and thing to tell the children. The cache was found in a likely location whilst a guy was doing some hot hooning laps up and down the street in a unregistered / no number plated vehicle.... at least he paid little attention to what we were doing!thanks for the crazy story
An excellent hint made this a quick find. Thanks to @Kristysadventures for placing her hand where I feared to place mine! TFTC
Took the little one out for a hunt today and found this series. Glad I took him out cause his height was a massive help! TFTC
Off on another Friday night caching run. OK, maybe it's not Friday, but I'm busy then, so Friday night has been moved to Tuesday. Which I personally think should happen every week, because that means the weekend is tomorrow. I selected the Westall UFO area, specifically because I needed a Large cache type on the 31st of the month. Then it was planned to collect as many of the "AREA 79: Westall 66" caches as possible. Pleased no DNFs, even if 1 was muggled out.Nice quick find with the hint, even if it was put back slightly different. Thanks for the cache Earth Bound ChiefHunter
Finished work nearby a little early today so decided to continue this series started over 10 years ago. TFTC!
Had a real long tiring day at uni today and ready to head home, just a quick detour to grab this one first.
Checked the hint before driving over, made it a nice quick find, log signed and replaced as found.
I quite like this area round here, feels pretty solitary and quiet despite the occasional car leaving the nearby car parks.
Happy to report that the cache is in good condition and the log nice and dry.

A quicvk find here today at the very end of the street. The log probably needs a replacement sooner or later as it seems rather full.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for placing this geocache here for us to find today, for without those who like to hide geocaches, there would be nothing around for those who like to find geocaches.

I headed down this way today for an event, so searched out a few caches beforehand. Another deserted street made for a straightforward find. The container was a different type from the description, but the location was the same.
Log isa little tattered but otherwise still in reasonable condition.

Out on the bike cache hunting, before being slammed by work and school next month TFTC!
We had a great time finding all the caches in the Area 79 series and collecting our clues along the way. The hides were very creative and we loved the continuos storyline throughout the series. Thanks for creating this awesome series Earthbound Chief!
I have decided to come to Victoria and go to the Whittlesea Mega, I will be travelling with Azzo7777 and other great geocachers at the mega,
Thanks to Earthbound Chief for the cache

A trip from Canberra, ACT to Whittlesea, Vic with a few side quests for LGAs. TFTC.
There are two caches here so I signed both.

A nice and easy grab with the help of the hint. Thank God it’s the weekend, I can’t imagine how crafty you would have to be with so many muggles around during the week
Grabbing a couple of caches on our way back from dropping daughter off at the airport. Quick find. TFTC
A quick find here on a Saturday mid morning.
Some people in the nearby lot but they were engrossed in a task so didn't pay me any attention.
Thanks for the cache.

After extracting the spider that had made its home inside the cache, it was quickly signed. Now to head off to get some of DNF. TFTC
Clue gathered, the plan was to get through the end of this road and onto the other caches but the road-he no go through!

Had to come back to this one twice, due to muggles at work. However once GZ was clear it was a nice quick find.
This was the last one in the series for me besides the puzzles.
What a great fun little series,
Cache was in good condition and logbook was nice and dry. TFTC

I think that we have now finished those available in this series. It has taken quite some time and has been fun. Thank you for all the caches and time and effort that it takes to place and maintain the series.
Damn should have looked at the hint earlier lol, found easily then. Security guard going in and out of 187 so had to act a little lost tftc
Although GZ seems to be in the middle of nowhere, this place is actually very busy with lots of trucks coming and going. There were some chaps replacing pipes very close to the cache, but I was a long way from home and did not wish to return. So I used lots of stealth and cunning and thought I was doing well until one of the plumbers yelled out ‘Did you find that little thing that everyone comes down here for'. I told him that I had and then fled.
Found it like a pro. I don't think I'd have looked out of place during peak business hours.
Finally made it back on the weekend, a Saturday and its still quite busy, but at least the nearby businesses are closed. Quick find with help of my camera. Clues noted and I'm on my way to finding a UFO! Thanks for the cache and the series Earthbound Chief!
Deserted area, gps jumping around a bit but after a short search got the cache and clue. On to the next. Thanks chief.
Found. I needed a cache to fill a calendar hole so I picked some of these Area 79 caches to find. It was late afternoon and most people were on the way home, so it was quiet at GZ for this one and was a quick find. I was quite relieved as yesterday I had 3 DNFs in a row before finding a cache, and I didn't want to have to go through that again today. The cache was in good condition and I even remembered to make note of the clues. TFTC
Thanks Earthbound Chief for these alien caches. I started the series 2 years ago. Needed an afternoon bike ride so headed down here for the three caches of the series unfound by me
Deadend street to an area blocked off. Is this area 66 at the end of the street. ?
Blackberries are tame when the right structure was found. Actually have a couple last to do in the series. A nice ride home.

**The Adventure:** I headed out solo today as the Cache Whisperer finally had a day at home to do gardening and to play with his new garden toys. My second Westall 66 find today and still no alien sightings. In fact there’s no one around as it’s a Sunday, which made it all the easier for me to search.
**The Cache:** The hint proved helpful, but then it became obvious on where I was to look. I normally let the Cache Whisperer stick his hand in/up/down/over there. Found after a quick feel around. Signed log and replaced as found. Thanks to Earthbound Chief for this cheeky cache, and for the series. Cache on.
**Cache Condition:** All good and in place.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Nada
**TBs:** Visited Skippy the TB.

Extended our regular afternoon walk from our Springvale home to encompass this find.
There seems to be a gas extraction plant beyond the fencing [a key component in the manufacture of powerful rocket propellants]
We're happy to say that we made the find quickly and without needing to read the clue!
Also happy that there were no blackberry bushes to contend with.

Disabled due to Covid Stay at Home restrictions. Will re-enable when restrictions ease.
This one was fairly easy to spot, signed the log and put it back in its place. Tftc
Very quiet round here on a Sunday. Quick find with no blackberries, thankfully. Tftc.
Disabled for the duration of the Covid-19 crisis.
I was hoping to able to avoid this step. Although exercise is ok, beaches, playgrounds, parks etc are being closed, and we are being asked to stay home.
The possibility to transmit the virus by surface contact exists, and with so little being known how long viral RNA stays viable on surfaces why take a risk?
At the end of the day, geocaching is a game, it is non essential and we are dealing with a serious Public Health emergency.
As we keep seeing people continuing to search for our caches I feel the only responsible thing to do is disable all our caches to discourage this until the crisis passes.
Thanks.

A micro adventure in the burbs sums up the day! In ‘66 I was in grade 6 so the story fascinated and excited the citizens. Top idea for the series. Loved this series and exploring the sites and locating the variety of caches. Found this one easily so and but ditto to last few logs. Now it’s back to Monash Medical to visit mum again... got a geo relay happening to break up hospital visits. TFTC Earthbound Chief.
I remember this incident even though I was still in primary school .. the space race was in the news .. in fact whenever there was an orbit everyone in the neighbourhood would go outside to “see” the spaceship go overhead .. there were lots of movies and TVShows .. we played games about .. so none was surprised that a UFO was sighted.. the cache itself was also sighted .. and signed!! Thanks Earthbound Chief for placing and maintaining the cache
Out with all 3 geo kids visiting the nearby library. Made a stop here to follow the series.
Not the best scenery around. At least we found a lovely little tree with spring blooms on it. Busy place with cars and trucks coming and going.
Caught a break and went in for a find.
Cache and log in good condition.
Thank you for the cache here Earthbound Chief

I love this series!!! Made the calculated scary option of doing this series at night. I must admit, by the end I had completely freaked myself out!!! What a great set of caches and a bizarre story!!! Thanks for the 13 petrifying stops!!!!!
Finally out of the super spooky Grange and back into the industrial estates. One last find before the battery dies and I'm offline. Sirens blaring, suspicious vans roaring past and a few very suspect characters getting around. Who ever thought night caching was a good idea....

Went out for a local adventure with my love, we were both excited for this trail. Unfortunately we missed a clue somewhere so we have to go back to find it it to try and complete it! Thanks for the great and interesting series.

Find #3521**
**Traditional Cache Find #2384**
An uncharacteristically warm and sunny day for winter was too good to pass up so I headed out to find some caches. No one around at this time on a Saturday afternoon. The explicit hint was much appreciated and consequently, I made a quick find.

Out to cross another day of the Calendar. A quick park and grab here - even found the remnants of what must have been the old container! TFTC
Out in the rain and hail today, my first chance to grab some clues for the Museum Mystery! This was a pretty quick find - GZ was completely quiet today so I had the place to myself. Container is no longer magnetic but it is still safe and sound. TFTC!
Found with legoman9x. CO's maintenance log was helpful in our search. Was a really quick find. Tftc.
Found with Winniethebear. "You know nothing Jon Snow" I'm guessing that its not titled because of Game of Thrones. Anyway, this was a relatively easy find and sign. I did see the remnants of a cache lid. only 2 more to get all the answers. TFTC Earthbound Chief.
I have wanted to do this series for a while but never seemed to be on the correct side of town. Today I had the morning to myself so I headed over to the Westall area to find the truth...because it IS out there!
A quick find. TFTC.

Geart to one for the Diggers on their day of recognition. Thanks for the new recoding sheet.
Boy this area has changed in the last 18 months.
