It appears I replaced the wrong cache while passing last week. So archiving to make way for someone else.

Drove up to the cache and saw where it would be. Looked under every pole and post. Not there. Checked the logs and saw it hadn't been found for a long time. Please fix this Southern Cross Caching.
Found while down here for work. Doesn't look like too much as you drive past at first but there would have been some hours put into this art!
#1232 Eleventh of thirty nine finds on Day 12 of my South Australian geocaching road trip. Nice easy find after a short search. TFTC
After spending an amazing long weekend exploring Port Lincoln and some of the surrounding areas, we headed back to Adelaide... picking up a few smiles along the way, to break up the long drive.
A quick find whilst taking some touristy photos :c) TFTC!!

A good find here, found on a day's road trip from/to Whyalla, on the final leg back to base now.

CPwanderer, GoodLook and I headed off for a weekend in Port Lincoln via an overnight stop in Whyalla
Our weekend was unexpectedly extended by a day due to illness and so my tally at the end of the 'weekend' was 168 cache finds
Sadly this was marred by a massive 28 DNFs
Port Lincoln, despite being virgin caching territory for all 3 of us, did not provide us with the pleasure that we had anticipated
So many of the caches were bison tubes and those that we did find, quite often were in places where a larger cache could have been hidden The other issue was the lack of maintenance on many caches
There are people trying their best to maintain the 'wheres wolly' cache hides however their resources are stretched thinly..... so if you are heading over, please pack heaps of cache maintenance containers, bags and log books and help out where you can. [^]
That being said, the trip was still a blast and some great caches were found and great views were seen!
The other two had found this cache previously so they enjoyed watching me wandering around trying to find it
I did find it though and then I took the touristy pics of the fish

Today I got to retrace my steps and do the caches in this area that I'd missed last time I came this way with Tempo. Some easy finds and some that tested the ol' brain. Thanks for your efforts.
Hi there Southern Cross Caching.
We found your cache **"Flying Fish"** at 11:47:00 AM today. This cache makes our find count 13809.
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip around the local area today. We usually start the day off by nominating a cache some distance away from our camp site and then take a route mainly determined by the next closest cache according to our GPS. Today we thought that it would be nice to visit Lucky Bay to where the ferry might come back to one day.
We ended up finding 11 & DNFing 1 caches today.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Quick stop with the geohounds led us to this easy to find cache TNLNSL, TFTC #60
A quick and easy find right near the motel we were staying in.
Found whilst on a fabulous Easter long weekend caching trip with CPwanderer travelling from Adelaide to the Eyre Peninsula. Our day has been filled with lots of fun, laughter, adventures, driving along dirt tracks with heaps of corrugations, and even searching for somewhere open for us to buy dinner on Good Friday.....an almost impossible task!

Off on a caching adventure with GoodLook on the Easter long weekend!! We had perfect weather and, for the route we were taking, surprisingly little traffic! Our target was the Cleve Cowell area althouth we started way before this. Our biggest challenge was the lack of anything open, apart from roadhouses, on the Friday and Saturday!!
Quick find only metres from where we were staying!! Thanks!!

Grey nomading and caching our way up the middle, across the top, down to Perth and home to Adelaide for Xmas. Nice fish. T.F.T.C.
Broke the trip on the long drive home, kids found the geocache before I had even got out of the car and turned my phone to GPS... they must be getting too good at this!!
Thanks for the cache

Out and about with &0thers while exiting Cowell. Stopped at the jade shop (expensive) and checked this one out. Nice easy find. Thanks for the cache
In our third week away and having been to Fowlers Bay and then down the coast to Port Lincoln and then up the other side, we stopped here at Cowell for a couple of nights.
The cache was found and signed , although it was laying on the ground.

Saw it from a distance so that made it good seeing as there were muggles taking photos

Found by Mary & David at 0915. Stayed at Cowell last night. Today, we cached our way to Port Lincoln, where we'll spend a couple of days. A stunning mobile, and we were glad of the extra detail in the cache description. All snug and dry right where we expected it to be. Our thanks to Southern Cross Caching.
hey awesome spot my brother and I recently discovered Geocaching and grew up around here. It was a shock to discover it somewhere as small as Cowell. Thanks for making it so fun and slightly awkward (truckers were staring at us).
# 7775. On the road between Whyalla and Port Lincoln today. A travelling day with only a few finds along the way.
This was my favourite town today, Cowell, loved the history and old buildings here and the flying fish are great. We missed this on the way in but stopped on the way out to make the quick find.
Thanks Southern Cross Caching

Day Nine of the WA road trip with BettyBoo3747. Today we travelled from Whyalla to Lincoln National Park. Popped into all the small towns on the way, but didn't do many caches in them.
A great collection of fishes! It was a fairly windy day so the fishes were going in all directions. It was amusing watching BB trying to get a photo of one flush on Good place for a cache.
Thanks, Robmc.

A caching stop on my drive from Port Lincoln to Whyalla. Thanks for hiding this cache SCC.
A quick find, using stealth tactics, nice collection of flying fish and a oyster, and a great way to observe the wind direction. TFTHSL [^]
Geohubby spotted the cache before he got out of the car so was just an easy grab and sign. TFTC
TFTC.14.00. From Perth to Melbourne is our last vacation journey in Australia, along this route, we look for caches. Greetings from the Netherlands
Day twelve of my holidays, heading to Port Augusta from Port Lincoln. There were so many caches I could have done, but I just picked around 20 spread out along the route. I tried the wrong one first, then got it right.
My thanks to Southern Cross Caching for the cache.
