Nessieee3 and I looked far and wide for this one. Nothing like the 2020 photo that we could find. A lot of trees and branches down and a few bait traps so maybe the rangers have taken it away?? Will keep an eye on to see if anybody finds it subsequently.
Struggled to find. Spent a good 20 mins searching in area. Lots of fallen trees which might be preventing find, or potentially moved
Too many trees. Was a few fallen down trees which might be impacting on he find
We ended up randomly joining forces with a relatively new comer to caching and his two sons, so there was 5 of us searching with no real specific hint. Not a great run today in this area.
Little bit out of position but great local geocache and also the log book is a bit rugged
Quick find on a lovely summer walk. It was quite exposed so I've added some natural camo. Tftc
Really cool place here, had to pick up something nearby so checked for caches and found Tahuna Torea. Kids had a nice play in the water, then we enjoyed a leisurely walk spotting birds and reading the info signs. Cache was a super easy find as it was just sitting out in the open tftc!
Heading back towards the start and a few paces off the trail for this one. Was an easy find, though a little in the open, replaced a little better.
Last walk(s) of the day and this nice looking walkway looked to be just the thing after our earlier Mission Bay outing. The look of a loop was appealing and all the options were snapped up in near-perfect weather conditions.
After a cache-less day over in the CBD yesterday in recognition of Olivia's 19th birthday, on the 19th no less I was keen to get out today for a leg-stretch and a few caches. Still not bothered about where we actually go, as we have so much choice, so much untapped potential in the area to choose from (for now, it changes after a while of living somewhere).

Took us a while but we found it on our way out! Had no pen so couldn’t sign the paper!
Spent a long time tramping between the trees to find this one. Not quite where I expected. About 5m from path.
We found this cache during our holidays, when traveling around Auckland!
Thanks for showing!
Best regards bhudi from Germany

Millie, Freddie, Natty, Tom and Emma found this cache. We struggled quite a lot but eventually we found it.
After hunting through the bushes with smallpooka it was spotted and retrieved. TFTC
A lovely walk along this reserve today. We saw plenty of birds and also fish in the pond nearby, it was only natural that we found a few caches too.
Upon arriving at GZ we started a brief search, could not spot the cache so we decided to divide and conquer. I soon heard the cry of 'Found It!' and after a moment of 'Marco Polo!' I had it too. The cache is in good condition. Thanks for the cache. #893

This took us ages to find! It's definitely more than 2 m from the track, and not really behind a tree. But we got it and Bella and Cami (7 and 4 years old) have just had their second find!
Found this specifically because we picked up a TB at Ardmore that wanted to end here and after a long journey - not least the last few weeks tripping down as far as Temuka and north to Otamure we've finally brought Charming to it's destination of choice. Thanks to Charmings owner and mattandjax.
TFTC: bro in law has moved to the area and first explore with my 3 year old (looking for treasure!) and her cousin. What a treat this area is, thanks for bringing us here
Find it ! I put my TB inside !
This cache need a maintenance ! A lot of ants inside !

Out on a walk with our playcentre thismorning so nipped of the track for a quick find here took the travel bug and dropped another
Visited today simply to drop in a TB (Charming).
This was a TB I had picked up about a month ago in a cache near Wellington Airport which had a mission to end up in this specific cache.
So happy I was able to help complete a TB mission, the first time I have been able to do so

Unfortunately the logbook was wet, but we could manage to write on it.
Beautiful area!
TFTC!

Nice track. We're very thankful to have some nature not far from the city centre to calm down after a heavy day.
Thanks for hiding.
Thanks for hiding.
Caching with TheMexikiwi today and tried our luck here.
GPS was quite jumpy in here, but chose the right area to search and the cache was found and in good order.
Nice spot out here - TFTC

My first geo-outing for 2019.
What do you do to blow away a few alcohol-related cobwebs after a terrific New Year's Eve? Go for a walk around the Tahuna Torea reserve and Glendowie Spit with your Muggle partner!
The weather was dry but moody today, which made for nicer walking conditions but not so great for photography.
Having parked up at the end of West Tamaki Road, we took a casual bush walk to get to the spit itself. It was about 2 hours after low tide so we initially thought about directly walking across the mud flats to the spit, but changed our minds halfway across and returned to take the track that led to this cache.
Getting close to GZ, I could see that the cache should be just a few metres off the track so leaving my partner to her own devices for a minute, I headed into the bush where I was able to locate the cache after a short search. The contents were mostly dry, so the log was quickly signed and replaced. I also dropped off a TB here, although the existing one that's showing on the inventory really isn't here which sucks for the owner.
Thank you for placing this cache, and hope 2019 is a great year for you.

Lovely weather and an early finish from work so thought we would come and get some exercise and collect a few caches too.A quick detour off the path and soon noticed the natural cameo and signed the log.Cache is a bit damp inside but logs seem well protected.
A bit of hunting off the path, till J. literally stumbled on it.
Bit wet in there and no piggy.
Made sure lid was firmly replaced, and cache covered.

Our second cache on this day. Even though we had to search for quite some time, as it was very well hidden, we finally found it. Content was also quite wet though. TFTC!
Enjoyed a walk along here after work, collecting some of the caches. I over shot this a little so went around in a bit of a circle before zeroing in on the correct location. Nice cache, cheers
We headed over towards Glen Innes this morning to go caching as we wanted to boost our finds on this calendar date. A nice walk along the path to GZ, where we found the cache after a short hunt. Thanks.
Late afternoon walk around Tahua Torea collecting a few caches along the way. We enjoyed our visit especially the walk out onto the spit. This one took us a few minutes to locate but got there in the end. All good. TFTC
Neat spot.... having a look around my own backyard to see if I could spot some birds (and spot I did: kingfisher, tui, fantail, shag and swallow). Alas a blister may need to cut this walk short tftc!
I bashed around for awhile like a bull being wrestled by a cowboy, but eventually found success.
Wow that took a while but finally found it under some driftwood. You can definitely see the trampled grass everywhere! Nice spot.
