As there's been no cache to find for some time, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Looks like it might be gone - it was near one of the letters - it wont be for a number of weeks before we sort (if anyone fancy putting one out it would be appreciated !)

I had a good look for it on a quiet Saturday afternoon. Even took the leap across. Spent a good half hour looking with no success.
We left home hopeful to nab this cache. We got to our destination and we stood, we stared, we stood some more, we stared some more, we both even attempted to jump. This was a broock broock chicken out and not really a DNF. We will be back later to try again and not chicken out. Hopefully.
this was my target for after the event in town tonight under the cover of darkness , I came prepared ( spare shoes and towel ) that water is cold should have brought my dry suit . searched all sides while dodging the odd car and even scaled the summit with no luck I hope its still there but I couldn't find it tonight
Well, I did get out of the car and pace around a bit but couldn't actually have a good look. More of a DNA than a DNF, there were far too many mini muggles around to try. I wouldn't want to be the cause of the cache going missing. I'll have to make another attempt outside the school holidays.
Hello from England. This was our last cache during our fabulous holiday in NZ so what a great one to finish on, . The water was cold, and deep, so one of us changed into her swimmies and thus made it to GZ for the find. Have a FAV for the high terrain experience in a nice little park. TFTC [5372]
Looked all around GZ and tried to spot it. Soon found what we thought was the cache, then it was discussion time on how to get it and hoped that it was actually where we thought we could see. Kids and I were in hysterics watching Dad navigate his way to it. Once he got there we realised he had nothing to sign log with! Fortunately it was what we had spotted and he only ended up with one wet foot - very clever! Great spot.
Out to fill in the D/T chart and was looking for a number 5. La Vista put me on to this cache but on arrival it had gone.
La Vista got a new container from Oz some Camo tape and it's back up running.
Now on the the next D/T

The LaVista team invited me for a wander down the rail trail today but we decided to say hi to Little G before we went. This was a bit of a challenge and I'm impressed with LG's photo as he looks so clean and DRY!!! I was so pleased RoVista had the gears necessary and he made the retrieval itself in short order. Okay... woot woot we can cross this one off the list. A very nice T5, thanks. Regards, G.
It's been not OK for so long .... Have been past this cache many many times with every excuse not to venture forth & find ! Today was the day to take the big plunge knowing that L4TB had recently replaced the cache. Ro Vista had some fishing attire that had the honour to reel in this tricky LittleG cache ! His support crew was able to provide plenty of advice on the technique! Phew! It's OK now the cache is found & log signed ! what'll we do now ! On the way to the Smile trail today !

Looking4thebroc very kindly enabled this cache for us
- the down side he placed it in a slightly different location so information between cachers will not really help - treat it like cache creep
Many thanks again it was very much appreciated LGM

Great idea for a cache. This was certainly a big effort to finally log a find. Attempt 1 was muggled before it started. There were people sitting in parked cars nearby and kids playing on the grass. Not a good time for some acrobatics or swimming. Attempt 2 was better in that no one was around at first. I did get wet feet, but made it out. However, I had to curtail my search after I started getting too much attention. I didnt want to risk exposing the cache if it was there to too much attention so I waded back. Boy that water is deeper in places than it looks. Attempts 3 and 4 were to confirm the cache was gone and to help to enable it. Pleased to be able to help and to get this one. Cheers LittleG Magic for the cache!
Likely to replace - a 'high profile' local Cacher has made a kind offer to fix - we appreciate the help with open arms LGM

My second attempt at this one. The first time, I arrived to find lots of cars parked nearby. I tried to wait the muggles out, but then gave up since I would be drawing a lot of attention while looking for the cache. Today I returned to find the area much quieter. I waited out some walkers and then made the attempt. However, I coudnt find the cache. I didnt know quite what I was looking for and I began to get a bit tense as I was attracting unwanted attention. Eventually returned to safer ground without signing. Rang a friend and was told that the cache should have been just where I was looking. I am not certain it was not there as I was feeling really exposed and eventually fled with people watching, but I am 85% certain I gave the cache location a good look over.

Mum came up for the weekend with my 'little' brothers, and so what better way to spend time together than the way we always do... Caching together!! Oh yeah!!
So inbetween running errands and doing some other stuff together that we had planned for the day, it was caching party times.
This one was actually ok. Especially for a brother with extremely long legs who had to go through almost no effort!!

All the Polaks+ were ready to jump in, but it took /dev/gc0c only a couple of steps Must be all the good food!! Thanks for a fun adventure!!!
Hey guys, Miss Cochrane (11) here, the Cochranes (mostly Dad) really dislike LittleG caches ( sorry guys!! ) but I think Little G Magic is the best putter-cacher-outerer in the world!! I managed to force the family into this one as I had looked at photos over and over again and was determined to do it. It took me like 10 minutes to decide weather I should go in or not. Dad kept yelling "just get in all ready!" Yes Dad. I know you are to chicken to do it yourself. I slowly put my legs in to get used to how cold the stream was. It was then when I received a push from Mum to " help me " I swam over to the water monument thing and climed up the ramp like spider pig! (See pics in a few days posted as a note) I saw a little "thing" after a lot of searching and I first leaned, so not possible. Then Mum chucked me over a knife to help me get the cache and a pen to sign. I was attached to the side of it and was so nervous about falling in that I dropped the knife in the water never to be found again [xx(] I thought about dumping it, going home and logging it as found but not signed but then a lightbulb flickered above my head and I managed to get the cache. Logged and carefully put back in place. Be careful of the gooey ground though. AND DO NOT DROP IT!!!!!
Best LGM cache yet! Fave point from us! TFTC LGM!!!

Cache lid wasn't on properly and log was damp so didn't sign. Unless you are part monkey you are going to get wet on this one!! Thanks
This month we've taken up the challenge to find at least one cache for each day of August. Today has been a great day, we kicked off with a good chapel service at Burnham this morning, then when we got home the little fella had a really good nap (two hours, normally he is only down for 45 minutes!). Off the back of that we knew he was going to need a bit of a run around so we had a hunt around on GC.com for a decent cache in a park. This one fit the bill, so we saddled up and made the quick run out from camp.
The little fella and I headed for near GZ, mum looked a bit worried as I clambered over the rocks with him in my arms. He was very happy to get his feet on the grass, and he started romping around as all almost twos do. We had the bike out of the wagon and he and mum had a good ride around on the bridge while I went in search of the cache.
Mrs TEF was very sceptical about my ability to locate and retrieve the cache without getting wet, but after I took my shoes off I managed to keep my toes dry.
Clambered to GZ without too much trouble and then quickly located the container. Afraid to say it isn't watertight and the log was wet and mouldy. I managed to sign it with some difficulty and the popped everything back in place.
Getting back to my shoes from GZ was a bit more of a challenge, but got there in an easy leap.
After we'd ticked off this cache we went and played in the playground. The little fella was very happy when he spotted the llamas (or are they alpaca?). After that we romped around on the slide and the flying fox. All in all a great afternoon and everything that geocaching should be about for us as a family.

My son Lachlan found this one. You have to be agile ( he's 14 ) and brave / confident to be successful here. Funny part was his sister had a pen to sign it and tried to throw it to him but it ended up in the water ( she's a great thrower - not! ). Managed to fish it back out without getting our feet wet!
Was going to leap to this one but could see it all ending badly, so wet feet it was. #2 Little G cache for the day. Nice cache
"How do we? .........hmmmm"
Bit of wading, some soaking pants and mountain goat manoeuvring it was in hand!!!!! Yipppeeee a Little G ))

Big smile all around!!! I came by this way when it was raining and had a 'tool' in the back of the truck. That was too small and didn't work/reach. And despite my ninja skills, worn shoes and slippery rocks don't cut the mustard. Today was the day. Dry and still it was my time to do this one again, last time I did my graceful gazelle leaping and made it with dry feet but to my dismay the cache was not there!!! Today I repeated my graceful leaping and all gazelles of the world will be proud. The feat had been repeated and the feet are still dry. This time the log was present and I happily signed the log. Did I mention that my feet were dry? Took some photos sat a bit and smiled. One last moment of gracefulness and I was back in the truck off to get another LGM hide that has eluded me. Thanks for this great wee cache, favourite from me. Another LGM gem.

We've been past this and knew where it would be. It was a matter of time and timing as to when we would go for it. 11.45pm seemed like an OK time. success.

I abhor water, except in baths or showers. As this cache was the closest to home, I just had to have a look. That was three weeks ago. How was I going to do it without getting wet? Saw that most NZ cachers just went for it. No finesse! Today, I decided that I couldn't pass by the cache every day and ignore it so I went into Mitre 10 and bought myself a $2.99 tape measure and made the appropriate measurements on site. I then went home and collected my geocache helper, aid, tool or whatever you like to call it. 1.80 long. Perfect. Less than ten minutes later the log book was duly signed and I was wiping down my tee shirt that had got a bit dusty when I was on top of the wall. Mission accomplished. Actually, as it's around 27C today that water does look a bit inviting.....

Well I really need a 5 terrain cache for a challenge cache and it has to be done by October. So I thought I was prepared for anything or at least would know what was needed next time I came by. Today I tried bare feet and didn't like the squelch so some other option will have to be thought of before next time.
Starting to think this might be missing - but it is small When near we will check out LGM
was a great time watching hubby get wet trying to look for this one...
but no success today
Next time will take appropriate items and will achieve success [8)]

kicked off the shoes and rolled up the pants. Oh I wish I was taller still parts got a bit wet lol. Oh well yet another one for another day. Tried to spot from a distance before attacking the spot but no joy so just took the plunge of well. Still a good spot
Finally gave this one a go today even thou it was a little drizzly - managed to obtain cache without getting wet only to find the log stuck inside - gave it a tap several times to no avail then plop out it fell into the water - sorry to say that the log was not retrievable but thankfully we had some paper in the car so were able to replace. I also dont recommend jumping off the top to get down lol. TFTC
I was here for working and I used my free day for sightseeing and geocaching.? This one was exhausting, but very cool!

We found this. No joke! Having just completed the other Little G cache down the road at the Bridge we were on a role. Pulled up and not a muggle in sight. After a quick look we could see the cache. We looked a couple of access options but after testing the water decided to get it know. Water temp was Ok and the base was not as bad as some logs had suggested to us. A quick grab of the cache made this T 5 considerable shorter than the 5 hour hike we did for the last one. Signed the and replaces. TFTC. A favourite point from us
A great cache! We found it with the help of Bugzptr, unfortunately the day wasn't very warm - not the best weather for getting so wet!
Found with the help of a very wet bugzptr. Interesting place for a cache. I had lots of fun.
No.5 Leap Day Cache.... and boy did I have to leap for this Little G cache! Twice in fact as had to return to dry land for tools to get the cache out. May not be in the same age bracket as Little G but managed it without getting feet wet. First time I've ever been glad of tussock. Was a well earned smilie.
#1000: Woo Hoo!
Yay! My 1,000th find! I had been out to look at this one before, and decided it deserved a special occasion. When I started getting close to the 1,000 mark, I knew I wanted something memorable, and this fit the bill nicely. And since I've found more LittleG Magic caches than those of any other hider (with the exception of the Dalmations), I thought it that much more appropriate to make my 1,000th a LGM hide.

I asked the GeoSpouse if she wouldn't mind accompanying me for this milestone, and she happily agreed to "document" the occasion. She even took me out for a nice coffee to celebrate afterwards. Glad to have been able to find this one.
SL/TFTC!
Yipee we have completed this one. Sent 6 yr old in on two separate occasions to retrieve but eventually I excitedly (but grumbling at the same time) had to go in due to 6yr olds physical retraints. Saw a fish. Took ages to actually see target. Tried to get fixated after this one but no success so will return to that soon. TFTC
found the tiny thing with my friend a week + ago and just getting around to logging all my finds. easy enough to see, but... well have fun.
Found with friend. Even made a vid of the adventure to get. Awesome. Tftc
Spotted it then circled round for what I thought was the best approach. Still deeper than expected, but the cars airconditioning soon dried things out.

I drove by a while ago to scout it out a bit, there was someone else in the water looking like they were attempting it. I sat and waited for a while and finally decided to go and ask weather they were "looking for something by LGM" (not to give too much away, a geocacher would know what something by LGM means wouldn't they?) anyway they said no and looked at me funny. So I left and finally got around to getting back there today, hot as hell, and I thought if I don't just get into it and do it now, then I never will, so I did. Circled, then slid in the front, surprisingly deep and muddy at the bottom. Went around the back and found it was a bit shallower but still as muddy, made my way slowly around the front and shuffled up the thing... The cache ended up being exactly where I thought it was, despite the hint the owner gave me ... hmm. My first T5 cache, will qualify for part of BGSc now. TFTC (455)

by the way the log was dry as a bone when I opened it, so I guess someone has replaced it.
Found it. Didn't sign log as we didn't have a pen - what kind of cachers are we! Anyway, thanks for the fun and it was such a great hot day for this.
Cool find. Didn't sign log as the adults of the team (who sent me to retrieve it) had forgotten their pen. Classic. TFTC.
Just happened to be passing by (Yeah Right), no, honestly I was!! Quick retrieval and everything was OK. TFTC.
Took so much gear, just in case, that there was no room in the back of the Rav. Needed none of it. A fun find. Wish I'd had a replacement log;-- with all that rain it is soaked. Thanks.
What a shame about the log - might be a while before we get out that way . Did not expect the container to get wet. Next cacher to attempt - if they read this perhaps could add a new log it would be very much appreciated. Strip about 2 cm should do the trick Best wishes LGM
I was out this way looking for some other hides, and knew I'd need to have a look. Circled around for a while, but with so many people around, and not really dressed for the occasion, thought I need to come back. No real DNF, rather a DNAttempt. I'll be back though!
Circled GZ, spotted the cache, smiled then circled again to plan my attack. ... this was a fun cache. Thanks Little G.
Out for a family adventure in the cold and blustery late afternoon. Quickly spotted. Alas forgot the camera. Family stayed giggling in the car whilst I quickly retrieved. Only got one sideways glance from a passing car
What fun........but a bit brrrrrrrrr this arvo....
Most excellent.

TFTC. This cache resulted in severe belly laughing as the night retrieval took place. Thanks for another great LGM cache.
Had a little wander around, and before long my eye spotted the cache. The hard part done, I sent MD in to retrieve the log and sign the cache. You don't need special equipment when you bring a Moneydork along! Cheers Gav [9821]
3757. Well we made our plans - Iris & Stella (5yrs) said' "Rodney / Poppa - you can go!" He tried to make himself invisible - not that it worked - and we took photos of the successful effort! We girls had fun watching and Rodney said he enjoyed challenges like this one - once he got some feeling back!!
Thanks
