After giving Mike a little stick about not being able to find this one I thought it best to head out here and have a poke around. I'm more then happy about this request for maintenance as everything was aligned - I had a photo of the container (posted 2011), gz was perfect for the hint, I had zero meters distance, satellite view had me on top of it and if all that wasn't enough - it hasn't been found in nearly 2 years. For a 1.5 star D/T - this has definitely been cleaned up.
It would be awesome to have you look at this someday mitchlin because you could look at Ngamuwahine Road GC35K6K at the same time. Then again - I would say that, I just love smileys

Like previous logs (which I hadn't read before coming up here Grrrr) Definitely not here, got scratched to bits from blackberry bushes whilst having an extended look around. Neat spot though.
Looked around all obvious places according to clue and GPS very over grown with blackberry think this is missing
Didn't find this, but there were loads of muggles around which did prevent a good search.... Thanks anyway. Gorgeous area, enjoyed heaps of swims.
This was a quick find before heading into Tauranga to collect some caches needed for a challenge.
It was spotted from the side of the fence and signed quickly after

Easy find near educational place. Kids all over the place doing various activities including orienteering. None of them near the cache so we were able to retrieve and replace it with no problems.
What I love about these type of caches is that you find the secret places only locals know about Took geocoin!
About to start on a bush walk but first there was a cache to find. Discovered and we were off. TNLN TFTC
Popped out after work to collect this cache. Always an interesting drive up the road, especially when you meet a few vehicles coming back the other way on the narrow bits. The roadsides have recently had a haircut which helps sneak past the oncoming traffic. Parked beside GZ as I knew exactly where the cache was having been up earlier with 4CJ. Log a bit damp but no problem writing on it. TFTC
I have never been here before. I liked the river and hopped over the boulders without falling into the river. I got the cache and found it was wet inside but the logbook was dry. TFTC
Seriously narrow road in places, but really lovely reserve when you get in here! Container was damp inside, logbook was okay. Thanks for bringing me in here! TFTC!
A day camp for the girls' kindy up at Ngamuwahine lodge was the perfect way to spend an early summer's day....topped off with some 'treasure hunting'....a great way to introduce some future prospective geocachers to the 'game'! This was was perfect for the little ones - not more than 20yds from the gate of the lodge. A great way to finish off the afternoon, after playing in kayaks on the river, making sand angels and going rock-hopping whilst looking for chocolate coin pirate treasure.
Cache quickly to hand - contents a little damp!

Woohoo....second find of the day - late in the afternoon and just before tea. No swap as they were a bit damp.....not more than a quick coupe of steps from the lodge - a great way to introduce some new friends to geocaching.

Decieded to head in here on the way home, will have to come back and collect "Sandfly Woman". bunch of kids (with overseeing adults) having a swim at the watering hole.
They weren't interested in what I was up to so it made for a quick find and departure.

This area is a hidden gem. Shame not allowed to camp in here. The cache was an easy find. TFTC.
Very cold this morning with a heavy frost on the ground and all the puddles frozen. Beautiful clear blue sky though so the valley looked amazing!
Many thanks
Many thanks
We must have been chasing Mac Ross all over this area .. nice hide, initially dicing with thorns then realised that over the fence was not private property haha.
On to the next one. TFTC.

7896 Went to the wrong side of the fence initially, watch out for the brambles… Cool spot for a cache.
Found on our way South to attend the Tauranga Get-To-Gether event. Made the detour off the main road for this cache. What a lovely spot that not too many people would know about. Quick find on a sunny morning. TFTC.

Our last find for the day, just as a shower of rain arrived. Another well stocked cache, so good to see ; thank you Mitchlin.
We used to camp up here many years ago - great spot - thanks for bringing me back up here - good for tramping too - again good cache TFTC
Pouring down with rain, was sent to fetch the cache. Whacked the bush not to get too wet. Still very wet. 2TF with Sefrican. TNLN SL, cheers
