As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm temporarily archiving this to keep it from continually showing up in search lists. Just contact us when you have the cache repaired, and assuming it still meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 30 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.

Oh well should have read logs, although on the positive side never been here so thank you for that. DNF
This needs checking owner, nobody has found it since we were here last time. Could not find today
Had a good look - no luck - the security guard came and helped also - still no luck!
Security man on duty in the area, came over to see what we were doing!!!!
We had a good look to no avail --- though we were loathe to go too far inside the bushes and there was lots of unpleasant rubbish there.

Got it, would like to say that it was a plesent experience (but it will be one that I always remember) but I can't. I reakon that you could have filled the trunk of the car with the rubbish (within 3m) at the GZ.
Very pleased to have know that I found it,
Please note that the rail bridge is closed to foot and cycle traffic till end January 2013 due to maintenance

A nice walk to gz and after a search we gave up due to it not being a very nice area...maybe the council could have a clean up and if people didn't use this area as a rubbish dump it would be a much nicer reserve.
Couldn't find it, gave up searching because it is disgusting, locals seem to use this area for a rubbish tip, drug den and toilet! Filthy people....
An easy find for the ten year old niece. Tide in and darkness falling. TFTC. Left TB.
9330… Headed over the railway bridge with Ross while waiting for the Flash Mob count down. Not a big fan of Harekeke, so very glad to find it quite quickly, now for the return walk across the bridge. TFTC.
Late afternoon with the tide in seemed a nice time to come down to the reserve. Quick find. TFTC

awesome day for a bike ride around finding and fixing caches. this is in good condition. thank you for this cache i bike past here all the time
far too many muggles setting out for the day along track so made the call to try again next time over this way.
My new years resolution is to avoid flax bushes at all costs... Nice spot if there wasn't so much rubbish lying amongst all the flax. Recommend you come at high tide to see the area at its best .
This took alot longer then it should have to find, was having a blonde moment! But got to introduce a friend to geocaching who is now hooked so mission acomplished!
Rain getting heavier and some workers on the GZ, but my geocaching mate still keen and lucky, was looking in the wrong harakeke bush [B)]

Have been meaning to find this cache for a little while now, but finally had the time today. Nice stroll in the sunshine to GZ, although a tad windy. only a couple of muggles using the bridge to cross over, to avoid. Nice area! TFTC

We had only just begun searching at the Matapihi Reserve when we spotted some muggles coming in our direction. Quickly switched to CITO mode - plenty of rubbish around - then recognised Lion Fish who had come to find the same cache. Nice to have another chat after last night's Event, and delighted when they spotted the cache for us. Thanks.

Needed the clue to find this one. Cache was a bit too small for a 'regular'[?].
A nice outlook back over the inner harbour; TFTC Mitchlin.
It was good to catch up with Kiwicouple again following last night's Tauranga Event!

Had a long walk over the railway bridge. I always find these types of hides hard and this was no exception. Especially as there was a choice of locations. Cheers.
FINALLY.Must have had my eyes painted on because i spent a cosiderable time checking that bush blade by blade. Thanks mitchlin, my previous log about placement was unfounded. If the cache was under water one would be getting a tad nervous. Cheers & thanks.Left TB.
Noticed this new cache during our visit to the area and also noticed that it had not been logged by mid morning. Arrived at GZ and our GPS led us directly to where we eventually located the cache. Unfortunately for us the log was not blank but a great hide and a nice place to sit and watch the local pukeko family strutting around. TFTC.
FTF FTF - Finally! - GPS was throwing me towards wrong bush- but widen the search and found it Had looked there before though- just managed to see it today. Much nicer weather today with the sun shining and the All Blacks winning !!!! TFTC
Went down at lunchtime to have a look-see, but all we saw were Pukekos and their chicks. Then we discovered why, the whole area is under water...
Waded in ankle deep and had a look at the front & sides, but any further in I'd have needed waders. "Looking for watercress?" the passers-by asked...
So we called it quits - will have to come back another time, suitably dressed.
We noted that there is quite a bit of rubbish & broken glass around the site too.

Went on way to work early morning - no luck - lots of water - walked over bridge again after work - less water but still no luck finding cache and GPS was showing 0 - saw a likely place but not there
