Late in logging. Found this cache with Nana KoalaSandy when we went to Mintaro a few months ago.
An early morning start to go caching and get some exercise in Balaklava before the temperature rose too high.We replaced the broken cache with another container here. Many thanks for the hide jayanesse
Found it! Another bit of history I would have just driven past if it wasnt for the geocache! Container is a little damaged however contents was dry. TFTC!
Heading home to Sydney from Wallaroo and trying to get a cache in every town as I go...
Found during a day of caching randomly following the arrow to see where it would lead. Twenty six caches for the day as I meandered from Bowmans to Riverton, Tarlee and Kapunda. Thanks for the cache jayanesse!
It has been a long and super day of caching. We have found many types of hides, some easy, some hard, some prickly. I am not a fan of prickly. After attending the festivities at the carnival of the JLWE, and caching our day away, we were now headed generally in a homeward direction. We had accomplished so much for the day, and still had enough energy to make the odd find in the dark along the way. Thanks to Brisal5 and BlackAdders for a great day out.
This one was found in the dark at 7.43pm. A quick find and sign, find #6997. Cache in good condition. Thanks for the placement jayanesse.

Pulled up here and a nice view over the valley, cache is all good
Today we headed out to leasingham for an event, so off early to explore the back roads on the other side of the hill before making our way there, on the way home we detoured for a walk along the rattler trail.
Thanks for the cache

Great story on stone nearby, great big puddle, great big mess. Great big fun! TYFTC - I just made it a D3T2.5 with no reason why!

After a long emotional day, we decided to head out for an evening drive to grab a few caches. This one was a quick park and find. TFTC.
Doctor Owl was going to be in Balaklava today and she asked if sushilord and I would like to come up and meet her to do some caching around the area. It was a lovely day for a drive and we met her for coffee in Balaklava then headed to Auburn, Saddleworth, Mintaro, Sevenhill and Spring Gully before ending up back in Balaklava. [^]
We had a fun day driving on some interesting dirt roads and tracks thankful that it wasn't wet. All but one of the caches we looked for were found and we broke the day up with a great lunch at the Saddleworth Pub. All in all a great day caching.
Another quick stop as we drove past.
Thanks for the cache jayanesse.

I joined some wine drinking muggles, I don't drink, for a relaxing weekend in the Clare Valley so I could wander the countryside looking for a cache and taking in some crisp fresh air but my time here is nearly done. Until next time,

Thank you for the nice easy to find cache. I dropped of a TB while we were there.
Would have been hard work for those team coming up to here from both directions. Thanks for the history and cache.
We soon found this cache once at Ground Zero. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache and for the interesting information on the cache page. Greetings from Zimbabwe
Another Wednesday Wander for the Puzzled Puzzlers. Today's crew was myself, Sushilord, Blackadders and S.A. Sewer Rats. The target for today was to head north toward Clare for some caching up there. But as usual there were a few detours for other caches on the way to be made.
Called in and read the plaque. Interesting. [^] Oh yeah, found the cache too.
**Thanks jayanesse for this cache. **

On the road again with a few of the puzzler troupe of small animals. The Starfish, Rat, Fish lover and Adder. Our aim was to attack Clare but as usual, detours were made to pick up a few yet to find caches.
An interesting spot and history, places we would never know about if it were not for this hobby.

Found after a short search with Sir Spectre. Our main goal was to do the 2 nearby OTD series. TFTC

We have a small team travelling to The Yorke Peninsula in South Australia from Canberra. It was decided by the group before we left that our team name would be DTY, although I act like the boss, I rarely am and so the initials actually stand for - dty73, Tankengine & Youban.
As we travelled along the road we decided we couldn’t stop at every cache, so we had a quick look at logs along the way. This one looked interesting and so we stopped by the check it out.
Although we had a quick find, the cache had a broken lid and therefore the cache was full of water. It is a little difficult to log a needs maintenance with the app so I will try to remember to do it later. Tftc jayanesse!!!

We are on our way from Canberra to the Yorke Peninsula and decided to do a little caching along the way as well. All logs signed DTY (dty73/Tankengine/youban). Nice quick find here, but the lid is broken the the cache was half full of water - so needs fixing. thanks J.
On a caching trip with Dty73 & Tankengine to Yorke Peninsula. Team signed as DTY. Interesting reading on the monument. Wonder if the ghost is here? Kutgw

I am heading to Jordan and Qatar as part of a university trip in a few weeks, and I decided that as I am approaching 500 caches (not really but after today, I am), it would be a nice idea to get my 500th cache in either Jordan or Qatar. I informed Doctor Owl of this vague plan last week when we caught up to do maintenance last week, and she concluded that I absolutely must fulfil this plan. The problem was that by the end of our maintenance run (and caching along the way) last week, I was on 397 caches. 102 caches of the 499 needed to ensure I could get my 500th while overseas. Therefore, Doctor Owl decided that in order to get my numbers up some powertrials were needed. So we headed up north with SASewerRats, collecting caches that some or all (mainly me though) hadn't done. I ended up getting 78 caches and having a great day.
A nice easy find. The logbook was very wet so I 'engraved' my name in the book. TFTC.

A fine Spring day for the 2 OTD series and nearby caches with Tassie Trekkers.
Not many muggles around today, and mostly good quick finds.
Lots of bright healthy crops and scenic views along the way too.
Log sheet is very wet. New Log sheet added.
Thanks for the cache jayanesse,

Today we tackled the 2 OTD series and many other caches in the area with Roostaman. Enjoying the views and the changing country side, especially the vibrant colours of the crops that just went on and on, especially with the green backdrop of other paddocks. This was a highlight of this area making it a picturesque landscape. Most were easy finds at GZ, some a bit of a search, but a great day out.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this series for our enjoyment.

Last day, of our Adelaide adventure, will be happy to get home. It was a lovely week. Tftc sl tnln.
This one had a couple of guardians on each side, so took a little work to retrieve. Cache was wet inside and log was also damp. Was still able to sign, but perhaps a better container is needed. Tftc!
12729. Albida33, LuckyL10n, fitzy_1965 and Sol de Lune (Team "ALFS") headed over to the Yorke Peninsula to cache around the GeoArt there.
After finishing all the GeoArt, the Mail Road LBH Series and the February and April On This Day Series, we were now on the way home aiming to stop at Balranald, picking up a few bonus caches along the way. This was the next stop and find.
Thanks jayanesse !!

#5839 - 11:43; Day 4 of the geoart appreciation tour of the Yorke Peninsula for the intrepid Team ALFS (albida 33, LuckyL10n, fitzy_1965 and Sol de lune) had arrived and we were packed up and ready to head towards home. We had completed the eight objets de geoart which had been our primary targets, along with the LBH series along the Mail Road and the 'On this day February' series, with a few extra caches here and there as well. After an early start this morning, a couple of caches and a fuel stop, we were now headed for home in earnest. After leaving the peninsula and passing through Balaklava, we collected the 'On this day April' series as we passed. Now it was time to collect the odd bonus cache along the way as we headed towards Balranald. This cache was located without issue as our mission was drawing to a close. TFTC jayanesse
Yorke Peninsula 2016. This weekend I joined Fitzy_1965, Sol de Lune and Luckyl10n for a six day trip to the South Australian Yorke Peninsula to get all of the geo art puzzles at the southern tip area. We had a great weekend and apart from about five DNFs were overall very successful. The trip started on Wednesday after work when Fitzy and I jumped in the car and drove to Narrandera for the night. The next day was a long day of driving to Adelaide via Balranald, Murrayville, Pinneroo and Tailem Bend. On Friday Fitzy and I went to Adelaide airport to collect Sol de Lune and Luckyl10n before heading to Port Wakefield and down the Peninsula to get started on the art. Thee days of art later we were all done by lunchtime on Sunday so went looking for another few short series near Port Wakefield. The trip ended with a two day drive home with all four of us via Mildura and Balranald. A fantastic weekend and I cannot wait till we can do another trip !
Thanks.

After we finished the nearby April series we hit the highway to continue our trip home. Stopped and grabbed a few caches en-route to break the trip up. No problems here and the log was soon signed.

Another great day's caching with fellow Geelong cachers Suscoe, during our time in SA. We explored the area to the north east of Pt Wakefield. The weather was kind, the scenery amazing and a variety of caches dotted the landscape; including trads, puzzles and multis. Along the way we had the chance to learn quirky facts about animals, interesting detail and stories from the past as we found the caches.
A great spot to acknowledge Suscoe's 11,000th find!
Our thanks to jayanesse for placing this cache.

Well a pleasant Sunday drive for Suscoe took place today in the very good company of Phetlern.
We headed off bright and early with a mild start, temperature wise.
It was a cloudy day again and there was some distant rain on the horizon but that kept its distance from us and so the day was generally fine. There were times where the breeze and clouds conspired to make things cool.
Our point of departure was Port Wakefield and that was also our final destination. In between we headed to the areas around Bowmans, Balaklava, Watchman, Halbury, Erith and Avon. We took in a variety of traditionals, multi’s and puzzles and we found many of the caches that we stopped at. There were a few that seemed elusive and perhaps need some owner TLC.
We discovered a good bit of history of this region and we also admired the countryside which was looking stunning with early growth of the grain crops looking beautifully green and the occasional sheep and cattle looked happy in the grassy paddocks.
Unfortunately Mrs. S ended up with a small piece of tree embedded in her head which required a detour to the nearby hospital to have it removed. Fortunately this didn’t slow the finds down for too long.
