The sign the cache was attached to has been vandalised several times so we think it's time to archive this cache
I went up to Fern Glade today and I happened to notice that the sign that this cache was stuck on has been removed. After a nice walk I took a look for the cache in the area where the sign used to be and it was nowhere to be found. If I were the CO I would look into this.
Tasmania Trip Day 4. My first full day in Tasmania was based out of Burnie. I did a few caches around own before it got too busy and then expanded the area to caches in the Burnie Region. Once I had done that for half the day, I headed a bit further west to get my next county. I enjoyed visiting Wynyard and the Table Cape area, even if it was fogged in. Did I say it was supposed to be a heat wave ? They are warning for one, but I got quite wet at times today. I headed back to Burnie for another quiet night trying to do some logging.I ventured up into the fern glade area, and had mixed success. It is a great area, but it is not a good gps area. Plenty of people walking about, but none of us saw any platypus today. Thanks for the cache sharnie's tribe45841.12 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2018 Nov Parkville Charity Coin A#389**Albida**
In Tassie for the next few months. So many great places to visit and so many different caches to find.Heading from Warrath to Burnie today where I am enjoying driving through this area and grabbing a few along the way. Started searching on the wrong side of the road. An easy enough find once at GZ but wet so replaced bag and log. Thanks sharnie's tribe for placing the cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can find this cache.
Today we moved camps from Sulphur Creek to Cooee Point. Back into Burnie for some caching. Weather much nicer today after a grey couple of days. We had a lovely day walking along the Paper Trail, visiting Guide Falls with picnic lunch and then to Fern Glade for a big walk. Great day out with geocaching as our guide.Nice easy find TFTC

Should probably be on the other side of the road, but still a good find with the family
Nice and easy one.

Jetstar was having a sale…. in the middle of winter, for a destination further south than I already live. That sounds like a great idea!
So a plan for a 4 night whirlwind tour of the northern part of the state was hatched. I’ve seen lots of this beautiful state, but haven’t found a single cache. With plenty of challenges to tick off, and a long list of targeted caches, this week is the time to turn that around.
After flying in last night, today sees an ambitious schedule with plans to cache all the way to Ulverstone for the CITO and event, and then on to Stanley.
Having ventured out here to collect the adventure lab, I was pleased to discover a beautiful park and river system. After a short explore I grabbed this cache on the way out.
Thanks sharnie's tribe for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

Good find on a great autumn day while wasting time before an appointment in Burnie
Thanks for the cache! Lovely spot here, shame there were no platypus out and about!
Found this one while visiting Burnie today.
An easy find in the obvious spot on our way out.

This has been a very relaxed and surprisingly warm trip to Tassie, weaving our way around new and favourite places. We stopped here to find your cache before moving on.

After finding no emus here, we dashed over to Roundhill for a joint 1st to find, then came back and made an easy find here.found with GeoMaggie2. Found, stamped and replaced, with Maggie and Mollie, my GeoWesties, while roaming around Tasmania with our motorhome “Mylittlebus” looking for content for our TASMANIA ALL OVER facebook. Join us there. Thanks for placing this cache (and others), keeping us on our exploring toes.
Travelling with Angus 88 we found emu cat geocache and then the one at Roundhill and then we found this one it was a very easy find. Thank you for the cache
