Hi Johnnygoescaching
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.

Beautiful snowy day today but unfortunately didn't find this one. Maybe missing?
Saw several suitable places for finding a cache while doing up a shoe lace but none with a cache in them. Can’t help but think it’s gone.
Found with some guidance from a mystery person driving past. We found a log, and an object, in a bush. Reading previous logs, not sure if its in the right place. We returned it there though. TFTC.
Log book was completely drenched when I found it, had to empty it out. Replaced with a little bit of paper. Quickly found, TFTC
I had the assistance of two previous finders and they said that it is missing from its hiding place and we checked out the other similar place without luck.
Found after a decent bit of barking up the wrong place, and a lot of muggle avoidance. Was not able to log - the paper is a soaked mess.
Very clever hiddy hole could not put name down all the paper inside has turned into mush. In desperate need of being replaced. Cheers though for the cache.
I really love how its hidden super creative
Also contents was wet so couldnt put name in however I might put a new bit of paper in latter today

Thought I would find this one well out of office hours . It took a wee while to find I soon had it in hand. Thanks
I have looked for this lots of times but usually on short runs when I am running fast. Today a slower recovery run and there it was easy as. Still very wet log. Pleased to finally find.
A straightforward find in between trick or treaters. As others have noted, the log was damp, so we added a drier one. Cheers
Out for a bit of night caching while J is at the school disco. Searched a good 10 minutes before R came up trumps...what a great hide! TFTC
Soon had this in had but the log pretty much is full and needs maintenance. (Soggy) just put my name on this one - no date. Tftc
This was one of the earlier caches I looked for back in 2014. I never found it and it really bugged me! After finding another 100 caches around the city I was a bit more aware of the sneaky methods of hiding, and had it within 30s! Was really nice to be able to tick this one off! TFTC!
Been out filling in dot days, trying to be good and do one a day... as I looked back on the calendar I realised I missed logging this one. Almost paniced would have to wait another year to fill in the grid.
This was a great little hide. Fav point.

The plan was hatched a few years ago now and it has been a standing weekend away with a few of us mad keen cachers. This trip was made up of Karma Reprint, Team_Gaters and me (TheWanglers). We couldn't use a previous anagram to sign the logs as one member was in Aussie. So we had to come up with another... Hmm, KiTT? We decided on KiTT but after signing the first few logs something KR mentioned took a while for me to sink in and I didn't really take on board until the next time I signed the log. "Hey, the double 'TT' looks like Pi!". Oh, that's what KR said! So we signed the log this trip as KaTT pronounced 'Kapai'! And the trip was kapai!!! We had an epic weekend starting with a detour to Peel Forrest for a few FTFs, stopped in Omaru, thrashed Dunedin and detoured to Port Charmers for a FTF and then back to Pleasant Point and Peel Forrest to finish off the weekend with more FTFs. We got home to our families at a respectable hour after clocking up just over 1100km!
We had a few milestones we really wanted to crack. My 4000th, TG's 5000th and KR's 10,000th. We cracked my and KR's goal and got really close for TG. It really is about the numbers. This trip was awesome as it has given me some ideas
We had settled into our home for the weekend and scored us some steaks for tea. We were hydrated and fed and headed out for the evening. I was driving and KR and TG headed out to look. They were taking awhile so I headed over to GZ and found it straight away. Nice cache, fav from me. Last one for the night. Back to our wee home for a shower and whiskey or two.
Thanks for the cache.

Show weekend and a Road Trip to Dunedin with 'The Boys'....Karma Reprint & TheWanglers. Initially came up with the acronym KiTT but on seeing the TT looked like a Pi symbol we quickly changed to Ka(Pi) (ie. Kapai)....and a fantastic weekend it was. 3 days, 1100km, a heap of caches and great fun.
I was pooped form the 'long' drive down from CHCH during the day so TW was driving around this evening.....just getting on dark. KR and I weren't having any luck so TW hopped out of the wagon & made the quick find and sign. Grr. LOL. Last of the evening...time to head back to base for a shower & a beer. Tomorrows another day! CHeers - cool hide.

A quick stop thanks.
Canterbury show weekend and time for our annual road trip to some place with plenty of boxes to find. One player short this year as PurdiePurdie got a better offer over the Tasman, (no not another MEGA).
TheWanglers, Team Gaters and I took off at 4:45am for Dunedin for a weekend of fun frivolity and finds. The plan was to get as many as we could, while still having a good old time, which we managed in abundance. Logs were generally signed kaTT, which actually should read ka pai, but I can not seem to get pi as a symbol.
A great time was had by all.
Thanks to all the CO's for their hides.

Well hidden I've been trying to find this cache for ages and with the help of a kid with OCD who found it by mistake and he was a muggle
Hevic and I couldn't find it last time, but it was a case of "second time lucky" as, despite a bit of grumpiness from myself at having a DNF followed by a DNA (combined with the bitter cold wind that had sprung up), I managed to set eyes on the cache. Hevic managed to extract it with quite some dexterity, we signed and sealed, then disappeared. Cheers!
Wooh hoo!!... the start of a busy morning/afternoon of getting some caching under our belts today! P&vee picked me up and it was a lovely day to head out - after the damp and cold days we had this week. So this was our first one today. Took a while to find...then HA! it spotted me way before I spotted it! A great find to put under our belt for the first of the day. This was a great cache. TFTC
First for the day and eve07 had in hand hand while I was looking in the wrong place.
I was beginning to think that I was jinxed as i hah had several attempts at this one. Was on my way to a cache in Ross Creek so decided to have one last try. Stood back a bit and thought and suddenly saw it. I think I saw a particular cacher's hand in the execution of this hide.
TNLN. TFTC.

Hevic and I had some difficulty finding this one - looked around the best-looking hideyholes, but it was rather busy even for a Saturday and after about ten minutes we gave up. Sad now.
finally found this one after several failed attempts!! found with newest recruit THE DON AU. TFTC!
Sigh! Second DNF for the day! After studying the description, hints and other logs, I searched places that seemed the obvious choice, I eventually gave up! Will have to come back on another day with some fresh eyes!
tricky to find at night!! Staying at johhnies for U15 national girls hockey tournament
Down for the weekend so thought as is was nice and close I would have a look. So much easier when you have a dog to walk at the same time.

Not many people around this morning so it was the perfect chance to have a go at this one. The junior dakotacat found this one straight away. A nice hide. TFTC
A return visit to this cache site having been muggle out earlier. A team effort, but the junior dakotacat was first past the post. A neat hide, with a cricket match nearby offering more interest than our own activities.
Came back for another stab at this... Hey I looked there! Someone has snuck in and done some maintenance!
4793. Decided to spend a couple of extra days in Dunedin after the Mega Event. This was day two and the eleventh cache find of the day. It was obvious to us where the location would be as we approached the area. However, a young male muggle was sitting in his car at GZ, waiting to coach some tennis over the road. After he had gone we were successful in our hunt and the cache was quickly found and log signed without causing any attention from any muggles. We loved the camouflage! Thanks for the cache, Rodney and Iris.
Time for a few early morning finds with the Walenators.
A wee peak here and a wee peak there and waddyaknow there it was. A good and clever hide.
Thanks for the caching fun

Kaisho53 did the honours this time after we'd spend a few minutes looking around trying to spot the elusive cache.
Day 4 on our caching trip to Dunedin for the NZ MEGA 2012 event with Gunnie69, Kaisho53, Ozibags, Ghostgumsand MrMeccano. The morning was spent wandering the Flagstaff hunting in the mist & rain, rambling and plundering. After the CITO event, the afternoon was spent starting at the Octagon and heading through North Dunedin, around Forsyth Barr Stadium, University of Otago and heading out towards Leith Valley.
Sorry about the late lo but almost caught up now
TFTC, Johnnygoescaching!

GZ was obvious on approach but locating the container was not quite as easy. It took six of us a few minutes before Kaisho53 came up with the goods. A neatly done hide too I might add...
Log out and names in, it was tucked away again and we headed off to the next.
Found in the company of fellow Queensland hunters Kaisho53, OziBags, TheFourBees, Ghostgums and Mr Meccano.
Cheers Johnnygoescaching.

Caching with Ghostgums, Mr Meccano, Gunnie69, kaisho53 and fourbees while attending the NZ Mega. As we searched it started to rain - and it was cold - which prompted faster searching. Found it, signed and ran to geomobile to get out of the rain. TFTC Johnnygoescaching.
