**Cache Archived**

Unfortunately, it would seem this hide has lost its minder.

As there has been no response to a previous request to attend to this cache (09/May/2023), it would appear the cache has effectively been abandoned.

Whilst it would seem the cache is still findable, there would appear to be one or more issues which cause it to be no longer Guideline compliant - two caches (Throwdown) & wet log (container no longer weatherproof).

Cache ownership requires attendance to maintenance matters which, apart from physically looking after a cache and making regular visits to both check the cache and replace used logs, can include updating any changes to the text, updating coordinates, responding to Reviewer enquiries, removing Needs Maintenance attributes and Enabling the listing.

If there are components or remnants of the cache and you haven't already done so, please return to the GZ and collect the cache (or remnants). We don't want to litter our environment with Georubbish.

If you wish to contact a Reviewer regarding this cache, please send an email via the profile - [**Bunjil**,](https://coord.info/PR9GZ0K) and quote the cache name and GC number.

### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUESTED PLEASE** ###

----------

Hi there skytrol,

It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is some sort of issue. The recent logs may contain more details about what sort of issues are evident.

The cache has been [**temporarily disabled**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235), so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location, until the issues/s can be addressed.

**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days,** so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.

#What you need to do:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-

- **Check On The Cache**

- **Place A Write Note Log**

- **Adopt Out or Archive**

Full details for each of the above choices can be found at [**GEOCACHE MAINTENANCE**]( https://wiki.groundspeak.com/display/GEO/Victoria) on the Regional Policies page.

You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of the above. Well, when the cache is next checked by a Reviewer, if the issue has not been addressed, or there is no acknowledgment as requested above, it will be assumed the cache has been abandoned. Twisted

It would be far better if you decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

Thanks for your cooperation,

Bunjil (Pete & Helen)

The weather hasn’t improved today, it’s hard to believe it’s mid December and I’m still wearing a jumper and beanie!
After spending the night at Digby it was time to head for Millicent.

Maybe it will warm up a little once I’m over the border

Found by Rebel Acts.

with it being School holidays in Victoria I had some time spare to head to Millicent where I teamed up with the Empire for a few days caching in the area, we had a fantastic time exploring the area.

This is one of the caches found on route to SA. It sure is.

Thanks skytrol for the cache.

Find #5218. Found @ 11:57 with The Good Lady Wife, skirrel, j-bean.

On a holiday getaway multi-day road trip with the family, traveling from Melbourne to Adelaide via Renmark and back to Melbourne. The Renmark to Adelaide trip today, and one that was originally going to lighter on for caching, but we combined some getting larges with skirrel getting some learner hours.

Today was the long drive from Mount Gambier back to Melbourne. We stopped here to get a cache close to the border and found a poor deceased roo near GZ. The cache was located with no problem and we were back on the road in no time, although it seemed like half an hour had passed very quickly.

Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache skytrol

Out for a long weekend road trip with an owl and a dragon.

This location is really in SA but the Vics pinched a strip of land early on and the rest is history.

Thanks for the cache jess jase.

The second full day in Mt Gambier with Doctor Owl and sushilord. We picked up Bowerbird and headed out for some breakfast before what turned out to be quite a long road trip visiting Port MacDonnell, Kongorong, Tantanoola and then decided on the spur of the moment to go and find the Virtual cache in Dartmoor. A fun day with lots of caches and some pretty cool locations which Bowerbird thoroughly enjoyed. [^]

Doctor Owl had already found this one but we stopped so sushilord and I could find it. Big Grin

Thanks for the cache jess_jase. Smile

This was an easy find just over the border to add another county to the Project G-C map.

I found it impossible to replace the cap on the container so if the next finder can fix it, you are a better man, woman or person than me Gunga Din.

Thanks skytrol for placing it here and thankfully no Victorian police to control the border crossing. Fingers crossed.

With Heymissjo and 3 Minis
Enduring some discomfort with back pain, I followed the others in towards GZ after enjoying a few seconds in South Australia - it was still long enough for my phone to switch to SA time!
Near GZ Emeylo accidently assaulted me with a fallen branch. The bruised shin just added a new element to my hobble.
GeoNinja made a quick find.
Heymissjo tried to sign us in but the log wasn't able to take ink

Hard to believe that The Welder and I can finally travel on holidays with three of our minis. It’s a while since we have crossed the border, but it must be said that things haven’t been the same since covid... permits to cross and permits to travel back, but at least for now covid is restrained and contained. Having spent a few nights in our new geo-base at Annya State Forrest, we now push on to our next destination at Carpenter rocks... just a little bit exciting. It’s the first time for all three kids crossing to South Australia and so it seems fitting to celebrate with this cache. Master nine aka geoninja made the find. Log is in pieces, but I found a spot to leave out mark. Thanks for the cache.

We travelled across to Millicent for a long weekend to try and collect a few of the puzzles before the Mega crowds hit town. We hired an AirBnB with Robmc and Betty Boo and managed a pretty good haul for the weekend.

Today it was time for us to head home and we opted to go via Mt Gambier and Dunkeld on a slower trip home.
