Idled up the back of the hill after coming from the Circle Work cache. Found bits of the Sistema lid but no Eclipse tin. Replaced with a plastic film container and log sheet in a bag. Going down the other side I am not sure I would have been able to drive to the top if I had come in that way.

03-Feb-17
My GPS receiver had this about 9m away from the marked coordinates. Found intact though (temp container)

11-Dec-16
As we were borrowing TT016 Hilux and the driver for the morning,
we requested that we do this one & it took three tries for us to successfully reach the top.
A bit of searching revealed bits of the cache scattered within metres of the road.
Some cache maintenance and a temporary cache has been placed.
Pity about the rubbish which is left behind by other 4WD people.
Thanks for the adventure and the view skytrol Cool

11-Dec-16
Clare007, Hevwalker and myself were lucky enough to hitch a ride to this one with TT016!!! Quite an adventure getting to the top!! On getting there the remains of the cache were found..... in small pieces. A makeshift replacement was put together ... and hidden at the GZ!!

11-Dec-16
A trip down to the South East with CPwanderer & clare007...this one required a 4wd & skilled driver (S-I-L, TT016)...we had just done Impassable, which was meant to be our only one but couldn't stop there...this one was actually a lot more challenging...it took 3 goes in the 4wd on the sandy track to get up the hill...at the top we located GZ but the sistema container was all brittle and bits were strewn all over the place...there was an eclipse tin there too...I don't think this had anything to do with the cache but it does now...we had tape so taped it altogether with a page from my note book for the log...the CO will need to do some maintenance on this but it will do for now...a fun adventure...TFTC skytrol

21-Jan-16
This cache has been muggled, so will need to be checked on at some stage and replenished with more swag and to tear out a page of the logbook "doodled" on by muggles.

17-Jan-16
Visiting friends in Mt Gambier so took the opportunity to find a couple of caches in the area before heading home to Victoria.

This one was located not far from our friend's home, so it was first off our list of 4 caches to do in about one hour. Having driven this hill plenty of times before, my muggle friends knew what was waiting for us and today their 4x4 got to within a couple of metres of the top, but we couldn't get any further as there was a massive hole in the sand in front of us, and we didn't feel like building sand castles today to dig us out if we had been stuck. So we just parked where we were and the GPS said we were only 20m from the cache so we jumped out and took a few steps and found the cache. It has been muggled, only junk left behind and so we attempted to hide it at the same spot with a little more camo. Perhaps it might be a good idea to change the coordinates and move it back a little ways from where it is to stop it from being muggled so easily. TFTC and for bringing us to a popular and fun little spot. Smile

The outlander tried but the Pajero made it (well almost). None us were really trying! Where's the beach? Cool

Cache found on the Joy of SECS tour with four-fun, Freddo, thewhitedoggang and Team Waldron. There were a stack of boxes to find so we pushed on. We even had a quick round of Mountopoly and a couple of Powertrails to add to the fun. The weather was cool and sometimes icy so wet boots were the order of the day.

Thanks to skytrol and clear skies from TeamAstro.

Apologies for the generic log but we did a few trails and some of the Mountopoly series. We also did most of the BLE series.
