After a lovely afternoon and evening at Danseys Pass Coach Hotel with Grapea and our other halves yesterday we continued along the Pass, taking the longer way home with lots of stops.
Grapea has a pretty good hunt here. A lot of garden debris around GZ so maybe hidden there?

GPS out a bit I think and the hedge is a bit too thick for an easy find with the Sleuths today . Maybe next time. TFTC
Up in Oamaru for day #2 of the Oamaru geofest. Out with Sirbennis and KJR grabbing lots of caches. TFTC
NQF once sussed out the way in. Spotted through the bushes first. TFTC and greetings from the UK
Today our last day in Oamaru we spent mostly picking up local traditional caches, it was a wet day, but good for caching anyway. Today was also the day our team broke 4000!
thanks to all the CO's for placing the caches for us to find

7702. Thought we had better do this one on our way out of town. Very quick find this morning. Thanks Iris and Rodney
Its Sunday - and day 3 of our great expedition to Oamaru and day 2 of Geofest17.
Some time up our sleeve to go caching, between the CITO and Lunch Event.
We are scouting around the local hills. Bit of a hunt here but finally snagged and tagged. Cheers

CITO done, and still some free time before we have to be back at the Geofest, so taybeedragon and I took to the hills. Hill. Cricket pitch.
Took a while to find, but that's okay, we have plenty of whiles to spare.

Found whilst here for the geofest race with flipnz and RowenaD, thanks for all the geocaches everyone.
Enjoying wandering around Oamaru picking up caches as we go. Thanks for the hide .
A bit of miscommunication between the navigator and the driver but we still found the cache. I'm sure there would be better views elsewhere. Can't quite work out why I haven't found this one before as I have found others in this park. Oh well its all sorted now and I have bigger things to worry about. TFTC # 11,153

In Oamaru for the Geofest.
Day #2 out and about with Gadget169 and sirbennis.
A quick walk around the park to get a couple of caches. Almost lost my sunglasses here but realised they were no longer on my head before we got too far away. TFTC

#14755. Took us quite a while to track down this one. Pleased to get there in the end. TFTC.
We also approached this from below- just a tiny scramble to get there. Was almost in plain sight when we arrived, so put a bit more cover material when we left.
Found with StreetWalkerNZ on a wander around the old area and the harbour during the Oamaru Geofest.
I wish I could say this was a quick find, but it wasn't. I was adamant we should be able to access the cache from the park (that's what the cache listing implied!) but unless one is an orangutan, forget it. SW found the cache from the other side of the fence. Phew pleased to turn this into a smile. TFTC.

Down in Oamaru for the Geofest with Aiden29 and Bertie Blowfish. It was an early start for us as we were now participating in the organised event race (Rogaining) and we were on a mission and while in the area doing the race we captured caches wherever possible. We soon had this cache in hand.
Out participating in the race event for the Geofest, which happened to bring us right by here. Mrs Jag made the find while we were completing the race requirements and doing a bit of research to help us out.
Not sure if we found the right approach we came in from below and got there not to hard.TFTC.
Nice and close to town so a good choice while we wiled away a bit of time before the meet and greet for the geofest started. Not quite a park and grab for us, more, park, walk, realise on wrong side of fence, climb over, find and grab. As a former cricketer I admired the quality of the outfield, less bobbles than I would put up with at our ground for sure, fair play to the groundskeeper. Cache on more uneven ground but still good. Thanks for the cache, all good here.

Visiting for the geofest, we cached with Happy Feet 1 during our time here.

Visiting Oamaru for a wee family 'long weekend' holiday. Heading out late morning for a walk around Graves track (which turned out to be closed!) - stopped here for a quick find and sign, . Cheers.
Came up from the bottom road and after a bit ofa scramble - grandson found it. TFTC
Thanks Bitsprayer we have wandered,
From the bottom to top of town,
Perhaps our path be easier,
If the other way around.
