Woke up to a beautiful sunny day, so Nahkins and I set off to conquer "Are you there yet" caches plus the 2 bonuses. Also had two at Bridal Veil falls and two on the way home to do. So that was 20 for the day. Had 3 DNF in the "Are you there yet" caches and 1 at the "4 Brothers". Couldn't find the Bonus Caches as we only found 7 Green clues and 1 Red clue. We were a bit gutted. Waterfall was in full force today. #6. We looked and looked but did not see anything. We even looked on our way back from falls but still nothing. It may need to be checked.
Woke up to a gorgeous sunny day, so NZPatoto and I set off to conquer "are we there yet" caches plus the 2 bonuses. Added to our list were the two at Bridal Veil falls and two on the way home to do. Total 20 for the day. A little disappointed with 3 DNF in the "are we there yet" caches and 1 at the "4 Brothers". Couldn't find the Bonus Caches as we only found 7 Green clues and 1 Red clue. We were a bit gutted with the DNF but absolutely stoke with the beautiful day. The views in some spots were just fantastic. Waterfall was in full force today. #6. First of the DNF. We looked and looked . So did not get a bonus letter/number. TFTC
As the weather wasn't really nice today, we decided to look for a couple of caches and these ones we chose because you wouldn't even need to walk around too much
We didn't make it to the end, but found #1-14 (we didn't find 4 and 13 though) and also the Northern bonus. A couple of logbooks were wet and need to be replaced and #10 doesn't have a logbook at all. I put a small slip of paper in there so that I could sign. For the rest, we really enjoyed the tour (even though we sometimes felt a little insecure being so close to the road. TFTC
P.S. I might have written the wrong date a couple of times. Looks like I haven't really arrived in 2017 yet

What a fantastic day on the road weather in our favor and much sun screen was used, the gravel side was quite and very long and we were able to quickly make the grab on most, we did have some issues with parking which we either walked back to the cache or hubby dropped me off so he could go park.
Great to see the weather proof paper, to which I lost my pen and my stamp wouldnt work without making a mess so used my trusty laminated cards to leave.
We have never been here and want to thank you for bringing us here. Sorry about the copy and past logs.

filling in time today as leaving raglan and picking a friend up from the bus stop later thought i would start these ones until i run outta time tftf most of the log books damaged and wet didnt have enough supplies to sort these out sorry aroha and happy caching tftf I will return at some stage to finish the trail off
B=54 The paper inside was wet, some of the names have rubbed off, and it was also full. The next person may want to put another paper inside it. This is small, so you have to have your own pen too.
Sailed right past this one with a logging truck up my bum, will try and return. Mission not accomplished, this one is a bust but TFTC anyway! Couldn't find it Blenheim Bear

Banian and I found this cache on our autumn northern roadtrip- where we did a circuit of the north island from Wellington right up to Raglan, then across to Napier through Taupo, before heading home, finding masses of caches and discovering a plethora of unique and interesting locations. Today was a day up to Raglan through the Are We There Yet series, plenty of clever cache locations.
Found with Redants on our April Holidays Road Trip. Day one, Wellington to Onaero. Day two Onaero to Kawhia via coast road. Today Kawhia to Kawhia via Raglan.
Nice weather and very little traffic made for a good trip. Found most of the series and one bonus. TFTC.

On my way from Raglan to Bridal Veil Falls during night. I would like to make the walk more interesting so look for the 13 caches along the way.
No luck on that one.
Search the tree, but can not find.

With a good weather forecast for the area and a long weekend starting tonight, we thought we'd better have a trip to Raglan today rather than face the probable hordes during the next few days. Our return trip was via the Bridal Veil Falls with some "Are we there yet?" caches thrown in.
Had to drive past #7, and it looked like we would have to do the same here, but we managed to find a park a bit further on and walk back. TFTC.

Nice series while out on a weekend drive - it always makes a drive more exciting. Thanks!
Found this cache on our 4 week trip through New Zealand, on the way from Raglan to Omokoroa. Greetings from Germany.

134 For Christmas I aimed to do this series. Managed 30 out of the 33. Enjoyed the ride. It has been a few years (Pre Geocaching) since I last drove this. Was surprised at the amount of traffic early on Christmas Day.
Quick find. This weekend there was meant to be strorming, and a drizzle started here, which had me going "oh dear... I wonder how wet the rest of this odyssey will be.."
After a great night on the water kayaking with the CO and a bunch of crazy people Evilno9 and I made our way south from Raglan in the morning to collect all those "are we there yet" trads. Mhh not there yet as we are still missing out on the bonus finds. TFTC
Spending the day with alpenmilch80 today to collect the caches for this series after hanging out with a bunch of fine folk in Raglan the evening before to do some late night kayaking.
Continued to dodge the rain as much as possible and pick these up without too much bother along the way - one more to add to the find list here and away we went to the next. TFTC

Decided to pick up all of these on our way to the Bridal Veil falls. They were a but easy, so eventually we decided not to get them all. But it was fun very quick to find all of the ones we tried to. TFTC
Out today to finish of what we started about a year ago, this was one of two I missed before the falls because of parking issues, roads quiet today and found all the caches too.

Greetings from Denmark
Our daytrip today was the Bridal Veil Fall and a special place at a beach that we visited 14 years ago.
On our way to the fall we found this nice serial of caches. Very easy to find and the road was not to busy today.
We collected numbers hoping to find the bonus.
We signed all caches with our second nickname: HFDK

It was an awesome day for caching. Thought I would take this way through to Raglan from Cambridge. TFTC.
Z-NZ and I had started this power trail quite a while back. We managed to catch up for a spot of caching while I was home on holiday for a few days so it was time to get some more.
Please be careful with parking on this road as it is quite hard to find safe parking where you will be seen by on-coming traffic. Awesome little trail though, will have to get out again to finish it off and collect the two puzzles as well.

Teamed up with my old geocaching friend Becsicasa briefly to have a crack at finishing off, and gaining more clues. TFTC, no issues with these today.
Sorry for the copy/paste logs, as I hadn't saved these given it was a spur of the moment trip

On our way to Raglan for the long weekend. Toured the route via the falls. Were joined by Wasgij for a great outing. Most caches were easy to find. TFTSC
Vistra and I decided it was a lovely day to go for a drive, headed down this was as the trail looked to be perfect for this situation. Quick find, Thanks for the cache.
It was a lovely day for a drive, so Yorkshirekiwi83 and I decided to head down to Raglan for a day of caching. After picking up a few caches around Raglan, we then hit the "Are We There Yet?" power trail in the afternoon, and managed to find all caches in the series! A quick find here, thanks for the cache and the series!
After finishing some work out beyond Morrinsville I had some time to go and find a few caches before I had to head to the airport and home. I had spotted this trail only yesterday so on a spur of the moment decision decided to see how far I could get before I had to head to the airport. TFTC, Biggles.
tftf and really enjoyed my wee spin along these back roads. cache placement very good and parking too.
One of 8 finds in the series. No problems grabbing the cache and was good.
Signed all finds as SDL. The ones I did grab were fine.
Thanks Cats&Dragons.......

Counting down now. Found cache on a road trip to Auckland Mega with Rediguana. TFTC
New Zealand 2103 trip for the Auckland Mega at Albany. Day 11, Te Kuiti to Waingaro. I was not planning on a trail before getting back to Auckland, but I was out this way and the line of icons called to me on my map, so I had to give it a go. This was quite an interesting series, plenty of different hides, a pity some seemed to be many meters out, but persistence usually was all that was needed. The road was not too busy so stopping all the time did not seem to be an issue. It has been great to see a section of NZ in pretty close detail. Thanks.

We appreciated the well thought out hides with parking usually close to GZ. TFTC
Woohoo!!! another Cats and Dragons power trail. Always love these, as the caches in placed in nice sensible places (despite a couple of thorns which we have later found out were not there on placement) and great parking spaces. Found all the caches which enabled the bonuses to be located although we replaced one with the owners permission and another cache site had two caches there (one on the ground and one secured to a tree) More details on caches #11 and #19. Thanks for another great day's caching and making us enthusiastic about caching again after a big slump in September.
Yep, another quick find!

I was headed to Otorohanga/Waitomo overnight so took the long way after popping into Raglan to find a newly published challenge cache. I didn't quite end up with enough time to complete the trail, having to skip the final three caches because I needed to get to my accommodation in Otorohanga before reception closed for the evening. (I didn't realise the road became gravel halfway or so along, and wondered if the Rally of NZ had ever come through here.) Found all the green numbers except for "J" but have since found worked out the final coordinates. At this point I've only got 5 red numbers however I think I had 5 caches that I DNF'd or did not attempt on the last half of the course.
Thanks for the trail, I'll return one day to complete the unfinished bits!

First time on this road for 25 years. Some great views along the way although there are many slips due to all the rain. When we saw how many caches there were on the road we couldn’t resist the challenge TFTCs.
a nice little drive in the country, plenty of rain and wind to keep the muggles out of sight - well we thought so.. but what with the safe parking not always matching the GZ's every time they saw mrs alligatorsnz treking to and from, cars stopped for concerned "are you ok's", but they just drove straight past Mr alligatorsnz - beats me how they told the difference since we both tall and wearing full length rain coats....
Found with Team Kiwifruits on our day of conquering Raglan's power trail! What a great day of laughs, music, (almost) missing eyes and some good food at The Shack. What a memorable day of geocaching.
Thank you Cats&Dragons for the power trail, we really enjoyed it!

Secured this cache as part of our "Day of Raglan Geocaching Expedition" with Vamber.
What a day! Laughter, scratches, loss of eyes, Neil Diamond (actually there wasn't any of that - just a dam good playlist!), and 1 too many pine trees!
Thanks Vamber for such an awesome day of caching and thanks to Cats&Dragons for a fantastic trail.

Quick find on the way to Bridal Veil Falls. Unfortunately I didnt have time to stop at all in the series TFTC
I have looked in all caches, but couldn't find the clues for the bonuscache....then now I see how the clues are presented hmmmmm now I properly missed out on some
Again this one felt like dodgy parking - and the rain was getting heavier - cover provided near GZ very thoughtful of you - this was our last of the series for this time - forgot all about collecting clues for bonus cache - not sure when/if we will be back this way - but TFTC and the part of the series we did manage to do Cats&Dragons
Camo blended it in wonderfully with hiding place. Nice to find this one after 2 DNFs. Back on track!
We really enjoyed this series of caches far out to the west. The caches were well positioned to allow safe parking nearby unlike another series we recently completed. Although we gather as many of the bonus codes we could we missed too many to locate the bonus. Many thanks for taking us on a great journey the highlight being the falls. TFTC
11.25: On the way from Pukekohe to Stratford. We wanted to see some landscapes that we have never been to before on the North Island. We picked out a fine selection of caches from this powertrail, mostly determined by answering the question whether we considered it a good idea to stop close to the cache or not. And again: it did not take that long to find this well camouflaged box.
Weather: fine, 18°C;
Wheelchair: yes;
State: all good.
Thank you!

Heading to Kawhia for the night, so decided to make a day of it and go the long scenic way and grab a few caches along the way. Mostly easy finds, one or two had us stumped but persisted with it and eventually found them all. Had a couple of close calls with some muggles, especially trying to find a safe place to park, but managed to get at all the logs without any troubles.
Missed two numbers throughout the trail, one for green, and one for red, but managed to bash the geochecker and got him to cough up the co-ords for the bonuses. Didn't have time to collect them on this run so will have to come back soon and get them.
Great trail, and fantastic views of the harbours.

Nice little side trip on way to Raglan for the weekend.
Some took a little search. TFTC.

Really enjoyed this series of caches, thanks for the effort putting it in place C&D
Grabbed this and then on our way and then read the instructions properly... Had to nip back to see whether green or red! TFTC!
The longest sunday drive on a thursday we've ever taken. Thankyou cats and dragon
Headed out today with the cache owner on a maintenance run. Easy finds when you have the owner with you. TFTC
Carried out a maintenance run accompanied by Nova Lightining, everything ship shape and hunky dory
In the area to watch the New Zealand Rally. Grabbed a few caches at lunchtime while on the way from SS3 to SS6.
Last one I had time for. I must say I found these caches pretty pointless.

Didn't find this one that easy. Parking tricky but we got there eventually. Tried the previous evening but got too dark to see. TFTC
