I know it could be a difficult one, specially if it misplaced. But after so many DNF decided to archive.
As we are leaving Auckland we can't maintain it anymore.
Sad to see it go

Could not find it either. Seems, the camo is doing a great job. Second DNF today, which makes it a little frustrating.
Thanks anyway

Have been looking for months for this cache. Can the cache owner verify it is here. Cheers
I think I'm officially done looking for this one, after spending probably several hours over the last three months since I started geocaching looking for it...
This park is close by to where I live, so I'm always walking there with the dog or having a run around, and have a look almost every time I'm down there. It doesn't help the GPS bounces around so much under the trees, so this morning with the dog I locked onto one of the co-ordinates out in the open, and then went in a straight line into the bush, ending up more or less where I've always thought it would be. But still no luck. Then this afternoon when out for a run I had another look around, doing a grid search in the area and still couldn't find it.
So I give up. For now

Couldn't find this today. Gps was bouncing around and there were a few doggies and their owners around. I will come back another day and hopefully nail this one
Ah well, didn't find this one. Unfortunately I only had logs showing up to Feb and so started to think it might have been archived. I have been up in Auckland for meetings this week and have ended up searching for 5 different caches in the evening only to find later they had been archived since my last visit to Auckland. So really didn't give this one the full treatment. I see now its a tricky customer. Will need to come back some other time.
Ohhhhh yusssss! This has been our nemesis and a big green blot on an otherwise yellow smiley face canvas. Today started out like any other day, with a caching morning planned, and we were successful on all attempts. In a good mood and on the way home we decided to try another cache at Auckland Uni which we had not been able to find in a past attempt. Within minutes we had that one in hand. Once at home we decided that the cache Gods are smiling on us today so lets go and attempt this one again.
We've been here many times in the past, and many times walked away empty handed and blue. Today within minutes we had the cache in hand, but in our excitement realised that we had forgotten to take a pen. Not to worry, we own another cache in the same reserve so will be back to sign soon but trust us - we wouldn't claim it if we hadn't finally found it!

Under the tree canopy our GPS was bouncing all over. It was not at what we thought it would be but the hint was helpful.
GZ was a couple of meters off from where my GPS was pinpointing but found it in the end Cool camo! As the cache description states, this is a mecca for dogs so if you're not too fond of the four legged friend this wouldn't be the reserve for you. TFTC!
No luck for us here today. Searched for a while but Master 1 was getting restless.
well unfortunately we didn't find it either. The GPS goes a bit crazy under this tree cover. However we walked around for quite a while but had to give up.
Nope. Helefant must have hid it too well. Also struggled with GPS signal bouncing around. Will have to try again another day
This one made up for the previous cache find, it was a 3 difficulty that I felt should only be a 1.
Searched and search, had great difficulty getting GPSr to settle (January is not a good time for accuracy, due to the position of satellites - I tried to average a waypoint later in day, and this went from 65% accuracy down to 32% before eventually reaching 100%).
I spent at least half an hour wondering around in circles. Sometimes I could walk 6m before GPS changed, or I could stand on one spot and compass needle would change direction.
Very difficult when trying to pinpoint an area under trees.
However after several 'Last looks', I think I really was on my final last pass when I spotted something from several metres away.
I think I had moved the camo earlier and cache was now just showing, from thankfully the direction I was.
made sure it wasn't on leaving. TFTC

Gps had me looking around a bit but finally got it in the end.

A run in the reserve and we found this one. Second time around and this time it was easy. Have done the others in the reserve last time in New Zealand. TFTC!

Took a few minutes checking out likely objects before widening the search a little and found this clever cache.
Phone gps all over the place and telling me GZ was in one of about 10 places. Eventually I just ended up at the right place to spy the cache. Log was so wet I couldn't even peel it open without damaging so put in a new log inside a small ziplock bag and hope that does the trick. Cool hide MarMis! Had intended to get to 100 for the month since GAR is overseas and has managed to find a hefty number (with me feeling a bit left out). However, it suddenly occurred to me that it was a Friday afternoon and I live about an hour north and Friday traffic is often horrendous so thought I'd better make my way home so I could take daughter 2 to work in time - so left this as my last find and have gotten to 96 for the month (our largest monthly haul by quite a bit).
Out with my nephew for a walk this was our third and last cache we found in this reserve. I really enjoyed this part of the walk however on finding the cache it was a real struggle to get it out. Once we go the cache out the logs were a soggy mess I tried to dry out the container as best i could and I was able to kind of sign my name. but a new log is definitely needed TFTC.
Found it pretty easy but top is stuck and logs very wet! Thanks for the hide anyway!
Found it, but couldn't get it out to sign the log. Dog loved the mud, we loved walk and enjoyed the sunshine.
Thanks for the cache!

Found this one, the dog loved the outing - but couldn't remove cover from hide to sign.
Master 4 found this one while master 6 and i were fussing over navigating. Well done, great hide! Log paper quite damp though after all the rain.
Originally logged and found whilst out with mum (keylev) but now have own account so logging all finds I was present at and helped with.
Thanks for the cache.

Had come to the reserve to walk the dog with the added benefit of also finding some caches along the way.
This one was a nice easy find at GZ. Very cool little spot for the cache. Not sure it it was meant to have camo over the front of it or not as it was very easy to see.
Thanks for bringing me here.

I was driving past this reserve and decided to collect this cache. Arriving at the GZ is was starting to get dark and got distracted by the munzie nearby. So after searching around, trying to avoid the muggles without looking too suspicious I was just about ready to call it quits. It was then that I spotted something. Yep, it was the cache! Signing the sodden log book (which requires attention) it was time to head home. TFTC!
It took us a while even though we sort of knew ehat we were looking for:-) log book could use maintainence. Tftc!
GPS was sending us all over the place, but aha what is this? Fun find, tftc MarMis, the log book is a little on the damp side.
Having nice hollidays and nice Cache tours in New Zealand with Obelix0011. This was one of our founds on the other side of the world

This was one of the caches I found in NZ. I found many very nice locations and interesting views. Sorry that it is not possible for me to remember each one. So I write a default log. Thanks to all owners.
Thanks for the Cache.

Yay me..I got this one before molly... she is on fire though... nice camo..but was pointing out so turned it around a bit.. log book damp as well.. tftc
Was too busy searching bottom of trees, which allowed the kiwi to score before me.... Nice cache... TFTC
Aaaaah, found it. Tried before but unsuccessful. We just needed our GC buddy with us to get it. TFTC
Had two different GPS telling us we were at GZ. Looked for ages. Even climbed trees.
14055... Logsheets a little damp, rehid with lid facing down, thanks for your first tree cache Rene.
Yay! Another cache found after an intense second search. Logbook was full and wet so we added another page. SL. TFTC
Found originally as part of rebel98 team, now created own account, re-logging as rustynz
See rebel98 log below. No photo spoilers like there is now. We looked and looked and looked a bit more. Eventually it was wow, that is cool! Thanks again for the hide.

Another clever hide, nephew spotted first, in all the possible hiding places. Picked up a walking stick, which we will need now we have to trek back over to the other side of the park
Phew ! Found this with Ric while visiting in nearby area ! Parked in wrong place so fence climbing was required!
Was about to climb the next tree when my I spotted the cache in another one.
Nice reserve for a walk.

Very similar to a find just around the corner. Clever hide! Deposited plastic coin
Out for a few lunch time finds, headed in to GZ and then the GPS was not happy, walked around and found something made of wood, was not the cache, some sort of trap. Started heading out and probably walked straight over the cache and suddenly my GPS said I was 1m away and then I found the container. Great cache, log was a bit damp. TFTC.
Picked up my one for the day but as this was so close thought I would give it a go. Did one pass and fortunately as I came back I spotted it as I was not sure what I was looking for. A nice area for a search.
It made for an easy find that there were no dogs or muggles around today. TFTC
Nice had me going for a while but then thought about it, a quick re-examine and the cache was in hand, not too many dog walkers today

Very clever hide this took a while although had a fair idea what we were looking for TFTC
Took along time to figure this one. Then the last place to check before I left was the cache. Very nice.
Took a little while to find. even though it was visible from the track! nice spot.
Returned today to have another look for this on my way to pub quiz, this time armed with my GPSr, and found it immediately as it was quite exposed as I approached GZ from the path. Left in a bit more of a "hidden" state so to speak.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Took a lot to find this clever cache...well hidden! GPS signals bouncing all over the place! Great to be able to tick this off!

Again I was lucky with this find, had thought I might be struggling but got to GZ and very quickly located the cleverly concealed cache. TFTC

Was armed with only my mobile phone to find this today and the GPS was bouncing all over the place and there seemed to be a whole bunch of likely candidates. As my visit was unsuccessful I will have to return with my dedicated GPSr to hopefully help narrow down my search area.
Second time lucky! Our brains were just too fatigued last time. Happy to have finally crossed this cache off our list. Very clever hide! TFTC
The team went searching for this cache to add to the January tally (hope to get to 100 for the month).
Mum recognised the cache owner, and recalled a recent conversation with the owner; which gave her an advantage over the rest of the team.
Sure enough, it was Mum who located the cache in the spot she thought it would be.
Well done Rene - a great hide!
Favourite point from us.

Found on the way home from work on a cloudy Wednesday afternoon. Very nicely hidden indeed. TFTC.
Needed to get out after doing house chores. Hours walk to find 3 caches, but failed to find this one after 10 mins. Come back another time.
Mrs j spent a considerable time trying to find this back in Dec. brought mr j today. Co-ords proved relatively accurate and log was soon signed. Simple idea - well executed. NINO TFTC
Off with the geo dogs and geo toddler for some doggie socialisation. I went off to find this one, while the rest proceeded to the splash pond. A reasonably quick find once I had started to think like a sneaky geocacher again. Nice hide.
having become new puppy owners, we were looking for somewhere to walk the dog off leash, and combine with a bit of geocaching. unfortunately we had done most of the caches here pre-dog, but thanks Marmis for putting in another one.
we, and the puppy had great fun in this park. its worth the drive out here for her. nice quick find once the GPS settled down, and first one for Bayley to help find and have a sniff for some Geo-training!

Got there in the end after a lengthy search- very clever hide. Some walkers came past on the pathway as I was signing log but I managed to conceal the cache as they went past
Had many orienteering events here in the past and organised one here earlier this year
