Woo hoo, I had help with this one having met and helped 2 Swedish cachers at my previous find. All the best for the Te Araroa team. They are going from Bluff to Cape Reinga, the opposite of most people.

*Having the day in Wellington before taking the ferry across to the south island tomorrow.* We met another geocacher - 2UI, at the previous geocache we found. Once we left, we realised we were going the same direction - towards this one My husband found this one before me and 2UI even had a chance to look properly. Then it was time to go separate ways - for real this time. **#4483**

We are in Wellington for a few days. We walk through the streets, stroll along the promenade, ride the cable car and visit the botanical gardens. We follow the lab caches, which often lead us to unusual places. Unfortunately, we have to leave some traditional caches without logging them because there are often too many muggles watching. In Wellington for WOW and staying just across the road from here, so I couldn't miss the opportunity to grab this cache and check out the sculptures and the tap - thanks for the interesting info; love these little hidden historical gems; an FP for this reason and for the creative container. Have found a similar cache in Dunedin before, so had a fairly good idea of where to look once I got to GZ and quickly had the cache in hand. Tftc.

After hosting my event outside Te Papa, I met up with my geowidow in the museum & we spent a good while looking around several exhibitions. Then we split up for me to visit some caches.Having found my main targets for the day, I meandered my way back to our hotel via a couple of outlying caches. This was the last & I was attracted by the high number of favourite points. I easily found the location but with high muggle footfall I quickly resorted to the hint. Phew, this took some patience. Didn't know Moore Wilsons opened this late - had to really be patient, and once I checked all the likely spots I spotted something that could be it (good camo, almost threw me off). Auf dem Weg nach Wellington haben wir einige Dschen eingesammelt.. es hatte ein paar knifflige Rtsel darunter und der eine oder andere Cache fhrte uns an ein schnes rtchen. So waren wir bei einem Teich, auf einer Raststtte am Puzzlen (da tankten wir auch gleich Kaffee), im Wald bei einem Babyvgelchen, bei einem Flug- und Fussballplatz und zu guter Letzt bei den Kiwis - zwar haben wir leider keine gesehen, aber dafr passend zum Valentinatag ein mitgenommen!

Today we spent the day in Wellington. Beside some caches we visited the Te Papa museum and went shopping on Cuba street,On our way to Te Papa we made some stops for further caches. Had to find this cache at 10 pm due to the business of the area and to be able to follow the hint easier. Knew what I was looking for, just wasn't in the right place for a while. Found with Miro!The cache only had little scraps of paper, no container. May need a new log and container.

Needed to come back when the coast was clear. Didn't know what I was looking for, but was in the wrong place for a while. Really cool cache.

Got a pop from the store to drink as I struggled with the cache. Looking through the photos, I realized I was in the right place on the wrong level. Once I changed elevation, the find was easy. TFtC!

I would never have discovered this water fountain or it's story without geocaching, so an easy favourite here.

I spent waay too long nowhere near gz searching without success. I even went topside for a gander.

Eventually when I decided to call it and slunk away, of course I found it.
Probably should have used my gps a little more.

Found with Kat33, Mumzi and TheGrunch. Greeting's from Calgary, Canada! Logging our finds for the last three days as the rush of the trip caught up to us and we weren't able to schedule some time out to do it earlier unfortunately. Had two full days in Wellington which sure lived up to it's windy nickname. I really enjoyed the weather for our time here actually. It was nice if cloudy during the day and was raining in the evening when we were settling in for dinner and done for the evening. Our first day we walked around and checked out the heavy hitting museums in town while picking up two caches while on the road. Yesterday brought us to the Botanical Gardens and then back down to town as we checked out the National Library and the two churches near by. The afternoon brought us on a pretty decent geocache mark as New Zealand has now stormed past Hong Kong as the third country with the most finds for us! Today brought us another transfer as we moved along to the South Island and Christchurch. Found the virtual at the front of the airport and then, after dropping our bags off at our hotel, made our way into town where we grabbed another virtual, a traditional and completed a five stage adventure lab as well. This cache was cache 9 of 13 and was found on 2023.02.24 at 1:08:00 PM for a total of 5073. Next cache on our walk was this one. Kind of thought about passing on it as the area was pretty busy but the area mentioned in the hint was fairly secluded. Kind of surprised myself by looking in at one spot and finding the cache right away. Cool camo on it! Signed the log and then carried onwards. TFTC kjwx!

Been searching i the wrong area but found

Over the last couple of years I have infrequently cased this area, looking for hints but not actually making a dive for the cache due to how muggl-y it can be.
Today, I parked in-store and wandered to the area, and spotted something out of place finally. Not too busy either, allowing me to quickly grab and sign before departing. Tftc!

I've tried this one a couple of times and just haven't managed to located it until today. So happy to tick this one off the list.
