I had to make a quick trip to Leongatha today. Looked at this cache on my way home, but not young and silly any more. Gave it a wave and left it for more adventurous types. The equipment blocking the main route looks reasonably new, so maybe it was easier before.

Thanks for an awesome cache! A nice one to hit my 100 finds. Happy to head for home now. A favourite for me. With deutz4544
01/03/2015 > 7.55pm - 2nd didn't find it for the evening - with dgfb33. We hadn't run out the light & were able to see how dodgy some of the structures were. Once we decided where GZ was we decided not to attempt retrieval.
Nice quick dash up and back.. Dodging muggles with Dnbyers and mini cacher taking point...
2nd find for the day after a darring dash by ADI16, while i scouted for muggles. Cant say it wasnt a little tricky. Tftc
I suspect there is a new addition to the difficulty. Don't really think we should be scaling that one.
Monday- heading to melbourne late at night, popped past this one... Finally not a muggle to be seen... A quick find, sign and replace was in order...
Thanks Bounty Trackers for placing this cache

I know where it is but I was reluctant to try and get up to it. After trying to go up the frame and then across to the ladder and also trying to get up over the ladder guard The noise was a concern so we left it for another night might need to big a ladder next time.
We found this cache today at 11:30am as number 3 of 60 on our Head for the Rails Southern Tour. I spotted this one and volunteered for the retreive but I mightn't have been so eager had I spotted that a certain part of the structure was rusted right through. Thanks from D, HA, H & A B-A.
Forgot to log this one!! I was only here a few weeks ago and there was no ladder guard but luckily had an agile geoson with me tonight who could wangle his way up to retrieve the cache. Thanks Bounty Trackers for giving us a good laugh while watching the retrieval of this one!!
What an awesome Hide. So happy to have had the Geo Niece and Nephew with us to help retrieve it. The also had lots of fun playing with the signals on the old train line.

I know where this one is, but there were muggles just across the way playing tennis and so decided not to draw unwarranted attention to myself. It's so hard to leave a cache behind but I will be back to collect when there are no muggles.
Found with Eminor93. We had previously attempted this one but gave up with too many muggles nearby. Decided today that we would just go for an pretend that we were just taking photos. Soon spotted and retrieved the cache and quickly had it replaced. Thanks for the cache.
*SPOILER*
cassievorkapic and myself found this cache on a morning ride. After searching all other possible locations, it became clear where the cache was. After many 'don't look down's', cassievorkapic retrieved the cache!
Stealth definitely required as there are many muggles both in the park and driving past. TFTC!!

Found with DoorMatt on a lovely afternoon, heading back to Bendigo from a weekend in Wonthaggi. DM did the honours of retrieving container, while he 'posed for photos' as cars drove past. Tftc
Far out. How many cars can drive past this One spot? Lots I tell ya. Poor Sando23468 had to make the find and then my fingers were so cold I couldn't open the cache lol Sando got it open and we signed the log. Then I made him pose for pictures putting it back haha. TFTC
Found it TFTC , this was hard there were Muggles at the park near by, Hubby parked geovehicle on an angle as to cover GZ a little bit from prying eyes, we were soon to learn that unless we were driving a double decker bus that wasn't going to happen! We watched them watch us for awhile only for them to get bored of seeing us not doing anything some move on others were having too much fun doing what they were doing to worry about us. Hubby had a fair idea where the cache would be and he was spot on, he retrieved it I signed it and all was done actually pretty quickly. TFTC

We came to Wonthaggi for the weekend for the mid year dinner event from Ballarat with passenger misscheif18 from Bacchus Marsh.
We found your cache No More Trains on 6/07/2014 11:59 am. Stopped for egg and bacon sandwiches and coffee for $7
Good cache container, well out of the way of muggles. With recent rain Aaron had to jump the moat at the bottom to access the cache.
This is our find #3899 and find #9 today. The cache is in good shape.
Thanks Bounty Trackers for the cache!

I had loaded up the car and was heading over to Wonthaggi for Gonefishen07's & Hearse68's Mid Year Dinner Event, so as one does, I found some caches on the way.
Arrived at GZ, the rain had stopped but it was still windy and cold.
When I saw GZ, I had feeling I knew where the cache would be. It was lucky that I was still dressed in my orange work gear, as I attempted the cache. The Muggles didn't take much notice of me, Just another maintenance guy.
A favourite point given for this one.

Know where cache is but unable to sign due to muggles and a certain phobia TFTC might try to sign at another time
Too many muggles, & gps was playing up, l think it was tired of caching all weekend!
Had a good look around but this one eluded us. Will keep a watch out and if it is found, we'll be back. Thanks for the hide anyways.
Searched high and low to no avail

Found @ 8:11am, find # 3042.
Another day of caching with Biggles1024 and for the second day in a row we were back down along the Bass Coast as there were more attractive caches to find that helps the D/T grid.
We arrived at GZ, after a bit of a look around we thought we knew where the cache was going to be, the only problem was that I think the whole town decided to come out to but the morning paper. Once they had all moved on or so we thought, Mark decided to go for it and the cache was found but then all of a sudden there were a couple of muggles with 50 questions which Mark handled well, finally they all cleared off and the cache was returned.
Thanks to Bounty Trackers for placing this cache.

Find #972
Out again today with Stemicmitsar for another raid on the Bass Coast. We had our sights set on a series of challenge caches and some others that we both needed for our D/T grid. Naturally, we also took the opportunity to grab a few others along the way.
Our GPSr led us to an obvious object but we had to wait for several muggles who had been in the general store buying the newspaper to leave before we could commence our search. We searched all around but couldn't see anything that looked promising. A woman from the general store came out to 'photograph the sunrise'. That was her claim but in reality we suspect she was photographing us. It seems as though the locals are very protective of this particular object.
Another local, walking his dog came over and engaged us in conversation. He suspected that we were members of a railway society, but we corrected him by saying that we were just railway enthusiasts. [^] I eventually made the find and then the woman from the general store wanted to know if we were taking anything. [?] We assured her that we weren't. Geez, some people are really nosy. With the benefit of hindsight, we might have been better off finding this one at night, but then again seeing torches would almost certainly have aroused suspicion among the locals.
With the log signed and the cache replaced, we were on our way and not a minute too soon.

Found at 2:03 PM GAFF5. Scoured all the nooks and crannies all over the place for about 15 minutes. Had to PAF and then we realised that we should have taken more notice of the Terrain rating.
Thanks Bounty Trackers.

So many places to search for Sully1 and I here, but after 15 minutes we gave up the hunt, thinking we'd covered everything twice over.
Thanks anyway Bounty trackers

No joy for Bogonghazy and I here today. We searched for about 15 mins to no avail. Too good for us, will return again another day. Thanks to Bounty Trackers for the hunt though.

Heading through Lang Lang at midday had me thinking no hope at this cache, as it seems every time I go past there are muggles everywhere!! Well blow me down, Lang Land was a ghost town, so a U turn and a walk to GZ, a double check to see if anyone was coming and I made a quick retrieval. Log was signed and after a double check of the traffic situation the cache was replaced. Finally this cache has been cleared off my screen!!
Thanks for the cache Bounty Trackers!!!
Thanks for the cache Bounty Trackers!!!
Had been here previously and not found this one, so after gaining some info from the CO came here determined to make the find today. however we were thwarted this morning by muggles & had to come back late this afternoon to make the find. Thanks Bounty Trackers.
Spent a good while hunting around for this one this morning but no luck today. Thanks for hiding the cache anyway.

Leaving Phillip Island behind and accompanied by very wet and windy weather, we headed towards Frankston in preparation for a special family birthday celebration. With grim determination, it was on with the flouro coat and P-P set off. While out in the elements he received a 'toot' from a passing car - perhaps a knowing local!
We collected the Trackable "City Bug" (TB401T1) because he was preventing the lid of the cache closing.
TNLN . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt Bounty Trackers.

Found on another fantastic TDC night. I appologise for the very late generic logs, I left for a trip to England shorhtlly after this night and have been playing catch up ever since. There were some fantastic, inventive hides in the area that I really appreciated. Thanks Bounty Trackers for the cache
Another fantastic TDC caching night in the Melbourne and down to the Wonthaggi area. A lot of caches found, including Keep It Moving. A night filled with laughs and good company. My appologies for the late and generic log, have had personal issues to deal with, and still sorting them out, so trying to catch up now. Thanks to all CO's for their hides.....
After looking at the obvious structure, I thought, what about there, I was right.
Thanks

On another very cold night the planned route for The Demolition Crew was into the Wonthaggi area to make a dent in the unfound caches int hat area. The trip started in teh eastern suburbs of Melbourne and took us south collecting some caches as we went. With lots of laughs, it was to our surprise that a well known D5/T5 moving cache had the co-ordinates updated in the area. It was then a mad dash in the middle of the night to sign that log, before we continued the planned route into the wee hours of the morning. These winter nights can be very cold, but at least this time it wasn't raining. Thanks to all the CO for placing and maintaining their caches. We had lots of fun finding and signing. Cheers TR.

Looked for about 10 minutes for this hide but the muggles in the park nearby kept watching our movements so we called it a day on this hide.
Knowing that there had been some previous DNFs an attempt was made anyway by both myself and Ahomburg. Well after 10mintues the time limit set had expired and it was off to the next one. It does look however it maybe gone, however you never know.... Will watch and see what happens next. The Wasps reported were not seen this morning, like the cache there gone too.
only had to wait for one muggle to pass, only one wasp hanging around, had a good search but could not find, maybe will try again another day.
We looked for quite a long time for this one- although Mr Squalid looked for much longer than I did. I was put off by all the wasps coming out of the hole in the ground and flying around our heads! We still didn't find it. Thanks anyway.
Muggles are one thing, but there's a very active wasp nest right near GZ. We'll be back some other time
Another DNF for me in this scorcher weather..
Will come back next time in cooler time
Thanks

Defiantly no trains through here recently. Nice relics of what once was though. Took a little searching and then we had it. Great hide. TFTC. TNLNSL. KeMs
Just didn't have enough time for a thorough look. Lots of muffles around too!! Will return.
Went out for the caching day today
No muggles here today It's my chance but no luck
as been searched everywhere. Give up will come back again.

Well, after a failed attempt yesterday the jnr cachers visited today and found the cache where we suspected. Lots of muggles but none the less a successful find. Well done jnr cachers.TFTC
6.30pm on New Years eve was probably a good time to tackle this one [only limited traffic] but it was beyond us today.
Too many muggles today and the GZ eluded us. Living not far away we will be back another day. Got my suspicions now.
No luck on this one either today. Will be back another day but I talked to the horses that were being kept in the next field - interesting way of keeping horses and of protecting them from the flies.
Ok, so this one seems simple enough.... But when you get to GZ, the amount of options you are presented with are, well, overwhelming! But I searched anyway. The trainline has obviously not been used for many a year as there are weeds growing all around the area and rust has spread to almost all of the metal parts. I ran my hand along the underside of all the metalic bits I could find, but to no avail. There were muggles nearby playing tennis and others riding bikes, but they all seemed to be oblivious to our presence. Soon after an octagenerean muggle pulled up nearby and asked what I was doing. I replied that I was interrested in the old railway and asked him if he remebered the last time a train came through here. He told me he had heard a train whistle not 20 minutes ago and he expeceted one should be through soon! I think he will be waiting a long time before another train comes through this crossing. It left me wondering if this old guy should be allowed to be in control of a motor vechile? Shaking my head I got back into the ute and decided to call it a day.
I need to confess that this is not our first time to look for this cache, and it is about the fourth time we have attempted and aborted the hunt due to muggles. This was our 2nd visit today due to muggles. Rob had spoken to the CO and was confident of a find today. I enjoyed getting a great photo of the moment of him making a goose of himself Very tricky considering the muggle factor. Thanks Bounty Trackers for a great hide.
It looked like this one was going to test us out but geo caching brother tried looking else where and soon had this one in his hot little hand, just one of several magnetic key holders that we found this weekend. Happy pants loves old train stuff, thanks Bounty Trackers for the chance to get my hands dirty with it. TFTC
Seeing the CO's note, we decided to give this one a go. After a little while looking around, we had a moment of inspiration and the Moose soon had his hands on the cache. A great hide! Thanks for the cache.
we also had multiple seekers hunting, 10 eyes to be precise and all went home empty handed.
The skateboarders must've been wondering what was going on, we were all in scout uniforms after a camp at Nyora!

3 of us searched for a long while but no find, we'll be back. thanks for the hunt anyway.
Nice one! Last time one of us found a similar one in Germany, suss did the retrieving - this time it was vulture's term. No fuss, nice hide and we are quits.

First of 39 (ish) on a Wonthaggi Event run.. A big day, and unfortunately with these big days alot of finds blur into each other, and with soo many to log I must appologise for the copy and paste logging which I do a little too often at times like these.. A quick check of the TD combo and read of the logs ensured no undue looking, and a very quick find.. took a photo or two of my car to disguise my intentions, then signed log and returned. Thanks Bounty Trackers for the hide. Find #2660
Found after looking for a while, but alas it was found and signed.
Many thanks for the challenge.

Found with Hearse068. We had a late appointment in the area so we thought it would be a good time to do this cache as there was not many people around. SL TFTC
Found while out caching with Biggles Bear on an Anzac Day cache run. This my first cache for the day, but their 4th. After checking all the obvious spots, there was only one more place to look, and that's where BB#1 found it.

What a cool cache. Dropped by while we were in the area. There were no muggles around today (ANZAC day). We seem to be trailing Biggles Bear today. I wonder if we'll meet them. Thanks for the cache.
This is a beauty. Once I thought about where I could look, I found it.
