Im not sure this one is still here as the previous finds were done quickly by others.
1233. 3:30 pm. Last find for the day/trip after a wonderful trip to Russell and area with the family. I don't have the full GB1 series yet, but it is getting closer. TFT(South bound)C.
I am heading south today back to Auckland, so I am grabbing a few along this side of the road. TFTC.
Good parking on the way south. Taking Grandma back to Auckland after lunch in Hikurangi and 2 days exploring further north. Tftc
A nice quick find thanks. Some of these caches are starting to lose their lids.
Found on a drive up to Northland to pick up a few more TMGT, and have a holiday with my Ma.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Day three of our get away up north and it was time to head home. Had a few 36 degree challenge caches to still get but managed a few extras on the way home and a nice lunch in Whangarei town basin and of course the usual Friday afternoon traffic snarl up in Auckland. Overall a great couple of days in the north and again, many thanks to all the C.O’s. TFTC!
Northland Day 4: Travelled down from Kerikeri, through the beautiful coastline of the Bay of Islands, before ending off in Whangarei. Today’s journey was marked with a bounty of seasides and waterfalls, and with the weather being particularly fine today, there was no excuse to stay in today. Another wholly productive day, with nice haul of caches of all shapes and sizes: a wholly great birthday treat with the family today.
The following is the specific log for each cache:
A really quick series of caches along the highway, I found this one is a slightly different location than the last. I like the variety. TFTC!

22467 Traveling through New Zealand to see nice people and places. Also to find some geocaches.
Today we were went from Auckland to Paihia. On several spots we stopped to find some caches and to enjoy the lookout views. All day was sunny,so we also made a walk in Puhoi to get the caches along the path to the mountain view. Also the GB1 caches were very popular because you can park safely for them. At some Parkings there were many muggles, but they had no interest in us. they took many pictures.
Most caches were found quite quickly. A few took more time. Several were with waterproof paper, but our stamp and pen do not work that good on such paper, where when it was wet paper it logs fantastic.
Riser5 TFTC and the fun it brought us. Theo

Find number 3950. I had come up to the Country Music Festival in Paihia and managed to find some of the north bound series on the way up. On my way home so collecting some more of the series. I had signed the log and was making my way back to the car when friends drove past in their motorhome. I quickly jumped in and followed them. They had pulled over at the next intersection thinking I had car trouble. After assuring them I was fine we were both on our way. Just geocaching. Thank you for the placement.
Heading back home to Auckland after visiting North for the long weekend and thought we would grab a few of these quick finds on the trip back down. No problems here, thanks for the hide.
Another we could get to. A bit disconcerting having lots of trucks rumbling past. Thanks for the placement Riser5
Slowly but surely I am gathering all the GB series it may take a while ....I may have to come North more often lol thanks Riser.
Feels like a long time since we have been home to enjoy exploring our own backyard, so off today to explore Kauri and around Lake Waro, but also a chance to collect some previous DNFs that have been updated. What an awesome afternoon of caching was had (although now to deal with the sunburn consequences). 22 caches in 3 hours of adventure, we even had to go for a swim to collect a cache, this was our 14th cache of the day.
Off up north to a sporting event, so decided to try for some caches on the way back.
With the good clues, cache was soon in hand.

Took my best friend for a drive out to Helena Bay as she's been in the UK for the last 3 years and is now moving to Wellington next weekend- did some quick park and grabs on the way as we didn't have a lot of extra time on our hands. TFTC
Taking the opportunity to grab some caches during my week long visit up to gather some caches. Heading back south now. Quick stop here and cache in the likely spot. TFTC
After spending the weekend in Paihia we had to drive back to Auckland. Decided to stop at a few "roadside" caches on the way home to break up the trip. Cache was well hidden and quickly spotted. Signed the log book and continued on our way home. TFTC.
Out and about with my friend Lis's crew on our way to the CITO. Stopped here on the way for me to pick up some P&G's. TFTC.
Todays plan was for a further attempt to increase my unique Minutes for the 400 Minute Challenge in Manawatu. I only needed an extra dozen or so to tip me o=ver the magic mark and, with a plan to head further North than before (whilst a cacher), there was a good chance of success. Built the plan aroubnd the barrier caches spread evenly along the upper S H 1 and also another couple of Letterbox hybrids and an Earth cache at Hikurangi. The hope to also fit in Waipu Cove and Mangawhai Head was a step to far. Settled for 53 caches all up, 23 new minutes so mission accomplished and I can now claim another D/T for my grid. Many thanks to all the C Os whose caches I found today. Got to see some cool sights of lower Northland and help my little missions along. Got all the North ones on the way up and the South ones on the way back down. Yay

My oh my! What a long day! this is my last cache for today, the 30th including a FTF this morning. Been on the go for 10 hours or so and now it is time for the wine and cheeses I have stored back at my motel in Whangarei, so good night one and all!
After spending yesterday caching around the Far North, today yorkshirekiwi83 and I made our way from Kaitaia back to Auckland via Doubtless Bay and Paihia, stopping for many caches along the way. Decided to pick up a few of the GB1 series on our way back, where traffic permitted safe parking! TFTC!

I am unashamadley after numbers at the moment so a trip to Northland with Vistra was planned, Saturday up to the Cape staying in Kaitaia then heading to Paihia for a late lunch event. Quick finds are needed now on our drive back to Auckland, against daylight.
Getting into the swing of this now, probably helps that it a sunday aft and the blackcaps are playing the final, not much traffic.

Heading home after a wonderful xmas in Northcote.
I wanted to see some smiles along the state
highway. This was a straight forward find. I had actually
thought I had done this one and the one close by
ages a go but after looking on the map and
planning my hunt for the day, it appeared I
haven't logged it. Parked and grabbed, all nice and
dry. TFTC ;D
