As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Yes, found it! We were very pleased to finally extract this cache on our third attempt. Great camo, TFTC.
YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS!!! Great hide, which had Mr rex plenty perplexed...like pulling teeth, perhaps? Cheers drawp.
No joy on this visit...hope to find before I go back to Auckland !
Will try come back before I leave...must be an amazing hide !!!!

FINAĹLY we found it. Just about gave up cause we were chilling and there it was. Hreat day for windsurfing. Thanks for hours of frustation...none so blind as those who can not see
Nice disguise but the cache was fully exposed. We tried to replace it as best we could and stopped it from sticking out like it was. It looks more natural now but it might work its way out again. Tftc.
quick stop here for a leg stretch, to take in the views, and to ask again - what were they thinking. The whole family descended on GZ but Mr. O. made the find first while the others were looking elsewhere. Geokid2 then was able to make the find. Well played, enjoyed this hunt.
Holy molars! A very cool hide which we found surprisingly quickly on a rainy day out. Signed log and carefully replaced cache.
It was very quiet, so parking wasn't a problem at the nearby shops with the campervan.
Who is putting up a piece of art from "molars". .... not my cup of tea if I may say.
Something different for the cache..... After it just started to rain and we had looked in all kind of places, we noticed something..... ahwell and yes.
So simple and so clever. A favourite from us.

Heading off on a Southern holiday, we arrived I'm Dunedin with a vehicle that had started shuddering on braking. Checked it out at the motel and found both wheels on the left hand side were missing balancing weights. Bugger.
After several google searches and a few phone calls we finally found a garage that was open on a long weekend Sunday. Got the Cache-mobile there at 6.4pm and went for a walk while we waited. It was Not Manly Jack who first suggested looking to see if there were any caches in the area.
After finding 2 caches on our walk we got the car back and went for a drive to check all was sorted. Ended up spotting some giant teeth by the harbour so hit the brakes (no more shuddering) and went for a look. Man, when it blows here it REALLY blows. Glad I took my hat off, wish I'd left my sunnies in the car (salt spray). There HAD to be a cache near here and with a choice of two we picked this one. Glad we did, it's a clever wee blighter (I'm just glad I'd seen similar before).

Down in Dunedin for the weekend to visit family and to attend graduation, but was able to get away to target a few certain caches while I was down here. There were still a cache or two I was hoping to grab before we needed to head off to the airport, so managed to sneak of breifly to grab a few more finds.
A very cool sculpture here, and a great hide too. Spotted these a few times as I've gone past and it was great to get a closer look at them. Chekced the usual spots around GZ and even a few unusual spots and even expanded the search a bit without much luck, but trusted the GPS and was sure I was in the right spot. Just started reading a few logs etc, when I spotted it from the corner of my eye. Thanks for the tricky hide.

The plan was hatched a few years ago now and it has been a standing weekend away with a few of us mad keen cachers. This trip was made up of Karma Reprint, Team_Gaters and me (TheWanglers). We couldn't use a previous anagram to sign the logs as one member was in Aussie. So we had to come up with another... Hmm, KiTT? We decided on KiTT but after signing the first few logs something KR mentioned took a while for me to sink in and I didn't really take on board until the next time I signed the log. "Hey, the double 'TT' looks like Pi!". Oh, that's what KR said! So we signed the log this trip as KaTT pronounced 'Kapai'! And the trip was kapai!!! We had an epic weekend starting with a detour to Peel Forrest for a few FTFs, stopped in Omaru, thrashed Dunedin and detoured to Port Charmers for a FTF and then back to Pleasant Point and Peel Forrest to finish off the weekend with more FTFs. We got home to our families at a respectable hour after clocking up just over 1100km!
We had a few milestones we really wanted to crack. My 4000th, TG's 5000th and KR's 10,000th. We cracked my and KR's goal and got really close for TG. It really is about the numbers. This trip was awesome as it has given me some ideas
We were heading home for dinner and a quick stop was in order. Quick find.
Thanks for the cache.

Show weekend and a Road Trip to Dunedin with 'The Boys'....Karma Reprint & TheWanglers. Initially came up with the acronym KiTT but on seeing the TT looked like a Pi symbol we quickly changed to Ka(Pi) (ie. Kapai)....and a fantastic weekend it was. 3 days, 1100km, a heap of caches and great fun.
Cool sculpture. I was hoping the cache might have been a silver container drilled into the side of one of those teeth (filling anyone?!) - but I guess that's vandalism. Anyhoo - cache found nearby & in a much more appropriate spot than my idea! Cheers.

Been here before and failed. TW showed me the way this time, Doh. Thanks for the stop.
Canterbury show weekend and time for our annual road trip to some place with plenty of boxes to find. One player short this year as PurdiePurdie got a better offer over the Tasman, (no not another MEGA).
TheWanglers, Team Gaters and I took off at 4:45am for Dunedin for a weekend of fun frivolity and finds. The plan was to get as many as we could, while still having a good old time, which we managed in abundance. Logs were generally signed kaTT, which actually should read ka pai, but I can not seem to get pi as a symbol.
A great time was had by all.
Thanks to all the CO's for their hides.

Well this one has been a tricky one. I have been here many many times to find it. Day time night time wind rain and sun made no difference with this one. A friend made a comment about it and after that it was very easy to find. Felt very stupid once I found it but that's the way it goes. TFTC ☺
First find of the day, while waiting to meet up with everyone for the Roadtrip to Historic Otago. Have looked for this one a couple of times, its a lot easier in daylight. TFTC
Haha nice one. My sisters first cache...and shes the one who got it... nice one.tftc
This was a tricky one. Thanks to p&vee with a hint we were off home. So cold!!!!!! Great cache!! TFTC
After a little bit of hunting got a hint and quickly found, Great wee hide, TFTC
Got it this time with a gull looking on 1m away. TFTC. If you see bits of rubbish on the grass it was not necessarily left there by humans. We saw the birds getting stuff from the rubbish bin and leaving them blow about on the grass. Did some CITO.

Cache back in original hiding spot. Thanks to Cretti for placing in its temporary location. All good
Was in the area on my long walk to lawyers head via my cache near the dive school and noticed the area around this GZ had been recently mowed and the area really tided up. As I need to adjust my bag straps I took the opportunity to check on this cache and had a good look round but couldn't find it.... either it is buried or it go cleared away.
Down in DUNEDIN with my lovely muggle wife Stella, celebrating 20 years together. Forcibly dragging her around to pick up caches.
We found this entirely unhidden and out in the open. Felt this couldn't possibly be right, placed at GZ coordinates in a better state than we found it... Will pm the CO to detail where it is.
Find #1152. Thank you very much for the cache. 8/03/2015 14:20

This one was one of those you just look at and go 'oh, come on!' at. Great find in plain site.
Thanks, apologies for late log!

Found with Hevic on an afternoon bike ride. We were, like a couple of previous finders, stumped at first as the cache was not an obvious one, nor was it quite at the obvious place. However, I saw something a little odd, and moments later I had a cache in my hand. Cheers - very clever hide!
I spent an awfully large amount of time beating about the bush before finally scoring this one.
Ah ha!!!!! Brilliant! Second time lucky! After seeing two DNF's below I was kinda indecisive if I should bother looking, but I did and I found it...almost by accident actually!!! Very clever!
Looked yesterday evening- very tricky. Another clue would be very helpful - even a hint about what size/shape the cache is. I had a very disappointed kid with me!
Found it. Definitely a tricky hide. Good job. Took us a while and we were about to flag it for the day. Thanks.
No luck today.
Cyclist changing a tyre nearby made life difficult!
Next time.......

I have looked for this unsuccessfully once a couple of years ago. Fell into the same trap today until it was handed to me to sign - very clever. I'm sure I would've been unsuccessful again today on my own. TFTC #6544
DNF for us today. Hungry cachelets with short attention spans led to a correspondingly fleeting search. So wouldn't necessarily take this as evidence of an absent cache.
Awesome geocache, came here once before and couldn't find it but was looking too hard. Came here today just to chill and happened to find it without really looking.
This one had me thinking , was just about going to flag as a did not find, when are their it was. Very clever hide.TFTC.
This one was clever even when I thought I was on the right track there was an imposter there as well that set me back for a moment. Thank you!
Went back three times, the last time armed with a clue from a previous successful finder.....but still no luck. This one evades us.
Found a bag with a clue about dinosaur skating and a number 13 written on the back. Is this the cache?
dnf. Searched under over in all directions and could not see it. saw an object at the other close by seat but as it was not the one my GPS pointed to dismissed it. Left this one to travel further along the bay to another one (also a DNF) returned to go back to Edger centre but a muggle sitting on seat. Will try again when in Dunedin.

Too windy to linger and admire the view. Rather unusual sculpture but is worth a photo to show at my next 6 month check up
Thanks for the quick replacement, was good to be able to log this one, thanks!
Read the logs after finding what I thought was the cache. Maybe you Kiwi's do it differently. Let me know if I logged a fake cache.
Cache is missing, can see where it is supposed to be, after being told exactly what to look for.
