Our first ever find thank you whanau! My daughter and I love the adventure, such a beautiful walk to start the day off
#13,240. Parked and walked in from Manadon Street in Spotswood, New Plymouth. Fortunately no muggles were around GZ at the time of our visit. Found after a short search. The cache was in good condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.

Out and about on our bikes today, enjoying our geocaching and the lovely sunny weather. Met a couple of enterprising young children selling fresh lemonade along here, but unfortunately we didn't have any money with us. Got further along the track and found there were stairs! Back we had to go. Luckily the cache had an old 20c coin in it and it gave me an idea. When we went back I gave them some geocaching swaps I had in my goodie bag. Win-win. We were both delighted. Cache is all good. TFTC
Spending a very wet Labour weekend in New Plymouth. The rain eased a bit so decided to go for a walk and get a few caches. Straightforward find. Thanks for placing the cache
I was out getting some caches in the clearing rain for today's souvenir. A little mission sort of focused around an old multi cache.
After a short walk I found the cache fairly quickly at the expected spot.

Very straightforward find. No pencil so couldn’t leave a note need to remember to always take my own pen when geocaching
.Out for a walk along Herekawe Valley Walkway to visit this cache. Cheers
Day 7 - Friday 20 December. New Plymouth area today.
The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby and I are spending Christmas exploring Taranaki via geocaching. Its been an amazing 3 week adventure. Rattls BBQ was a great event, meeting many other cachers. But also managed to fit in a few more events, especially New Years Day celebrating the start of 2020. Lots of caches - over 500. Lots of cache maintenance. Lots and lots of kilometers. And lots of amazing places visited along our journey. Mt Taranaki remained elusive for much of our travels and the caches on it at the top. Loved Pukekura Park Night Lights Show and the the Wooden Mechanical toy exhibition at NP Info centre.

Log book needs replacing - it's all just loose sheets of paper.
Day seven of Taybeedragon's and my big 3 week circumnavicaching trip around Mt Taranaki, starting from Palmerston North. Today is New Plymouth - we got here at long last! Yes, it's been a slow trip!!
Highlights:
* 3 weeks, 536 caches
* Mt Taranaki had been removed for washing, which was a bit of a shame. Even after it had been returned we were only allowed to see it for it was less than half an hour a day.
* High percentage of caches with crappy coordinates
* Amazing Pukekura Park
* AMAZING Pukekura Park light show!
* Pukeiti Gardens
* 3 notebooks full of cache notes for later logging
* Lots of cache maintenance!
***[======== NZ Mega 2020 ========](http://nzmega.com)***
Planning for the [NZ Mega 2020](http://nzmega.com) event is well underway. It will be held in Auckland over Labour Weekend, 23 to 26 October 2020. It's going to be a massive celebration of geocaching:
* 20 years of geocaching worldwide.
* 20 years since New Zealand had the very first geocache hidden outside of USA.
* And it's 2020 - all the 20s!
Talk to your geo-friends and start planning to be part of [this event](https://coord.info/GC87777) - you won't want to miss it!

filling a dot day, took TB as planning a trip to wellington soon, nice easy find after all the steps then back up them again, log book a little damp even in this heat, TFTC
One of three we located in the immediate vicinity on a pleasant walk at the end of the day. Found this one reasonably quickly. #2222. TFTC.
This year I am attempting to turn my finds calendar green so this cache was a good little target while stopping at the nearby supermarket.
Cache was quick to locate with it being exactly where the hint would have you belive.
In serious need of maintenance however with no container in play and a torn plastic bag. Log book wet but usable. Messaging photo to CO.

Nice easy one to start the day's caching, was out in the open, probably from the recent storm, so recovered.
Decided to make a start on my holiday geocaching campaign with this one. After a nice walk along the walkway the cache was soon spotted.
Awesome little track miss 3 found the cache quickly also met a very friendly horse which made her day tftc
Haven't been on this walkway before so had no idea where one of the various entrances were so just picked a street nearby and kept our eyes peeled for an entrance, sure enough we spotted a likely alleyway that would take us down to the track. Luckily we brought our gumboots! Lots & lots of rain recently so the track is very muddy in areas. Had to jump off the track after seeing a mountain biker coming at us at full speed flicking mud up and around everywhere. Slipped & slided about 450m to GZ & found cache pretty quickly. Took 2 TB to further them on their journey. No sign of the TB called Jo though. Was a good 1/2hr spent. Thanks.
Spotted very clearly in view of muggels placed back with extra camouflage also spotted TB COSMAC CHUCK 493722
Walked and biked up here numerous times... but stopped today to find this cache...
A quick find, a lovely walk, even on a rainy day. Picked up the RIP Evo trackable.
Staying here for a week visiting my sister before heading up to the weekend mega event, time to get some local caches. Walked down from the street immediately above and made a quick find here, not too squelchy on the way down. Thanks Team SKAM.
Dropped off 2 trackables and picked up Soundview Trackable, did not see the other trackable 'Jo' in the cache
Nice day for walk while in NP. Nice quick find. A little muddy on track but I'm tuff. Lol. Cheers for the cache. Took one of the TBs to move on.
Quick find on a nice clear day.
