26-Dec-12
I think its gone. I spent 10-15 minutes searching ... even climbed the tree. Then saw last 6 logs were DNFs. Not logging a DNF unless the CO confirms that the cache is there.

No luck...gone...we can't all be wrong!

Had a quick look today but could not find it. Probably an obvious place.

30-Nov-12
Looked for awhile with bsurin65 (who had found this one the other day). Was no sign of the cache today. Thought the recent rain and wind might have dislodged it so we looked all around on the ground but found nothing. Might need a bit of CO love ... hope it's still there somewhere Sad

Out and about in the Yokine area with AmstradKid and Keego. An amazing area of parks, ovals and walking paths. We had a great time wondering along talking and finding caches every few 100 meters. What would we do without trees. Well I didn't like this tree. All the previous trees I enjoyed but not this one. It refused to help me so I left very disappointed.

Thanks Mista C.

Picked Fabulous Firsday to go caching with Keego and Chil as our second major attack on the Northern Suburbs. Our mode of transport this time was by bike and it proved to be a winner having found over 20 caches in 90mins. I was always last to arrive at each cache short of breath.
As general comment most caches were very easy to find compared to some caches in the Southern Suburbs and in open areas, the playground caches concerned me as anybody watching us would have seen two old guys looking under equipment. Some bush hides surprised me as I know of some owners not liking to look for caches in those areas but they were mostly one step off the path.
We left the area feeling very successful in finding every cache and liking the easy hides.
Congratulations go to the owners of these caches in giving us a great tour of the area and the knowledge that simple is sometimes better.

My first real caching sortie into the much maligned Northside of the Swan River. All caches were done by manual pedal power, we parked at the TT aquatics Centre and with little knowledge of where we were going... lol. The hardest thing about this cache was crossing the main road in peak morning traffic, not a crossing area to be seen. An easy find even with the early morning muggles doing there exercise. SL TFTC Mista C

16-May-12
Nice find on a great day out riding. SL. TFTC.

13-May-12
Easy find, cache very exposed. As I searched a muggle with dogs suggested that I was admiring the tree, so I agreed. TFTH

A few muggles walking around but they were oblivious to our plight. Grabbed the cache easily when I saw something ever so slightly odd in the tree. TFTC.

18-Feb-12
A slog across the park with Crazy Cat avoiding the softball bats took us straight to the cache! An easy find a bit high for midgets but can be snuck out between the muggles. Smile

12-Feb-12
We walked across the road for this one as we were attempting the "Fabulous February" series. Easy find but many muggler dog walkers were present. TFTC

[:(!] Went for a late afternoon of caching with Mrs GrumpyBump, it was overcast and intermitant showers on the way to GZ, arrived at GZ and the rain had stop but still overcast, and within minutes I had the cache in hand, a lot of mugglers were jogging along the bike path and stealth was needed. SL TFTC/TFTH

I drove past here on the cache side of the road, then turned into the nearest street, and found there was no close parking available. So I turned around and headed back over to the swimming centre, then walked to the cache from here.

It was raining, but it was still pleasant as it was so warm. At GZ I managed to find the cache in the first place I looked!

Thanks for a fun cache Mista C!

25-Jan-12
Well it was going to be hot today and we needed a smilie for today to fill in the caching calendar. Unfortunately Mrs Felix tried one before work but it resulted in a DNF, so it was over to Mr Felix to come up with the goods.

Mr Felix just happened to have a call out to the Mt Lawley Golf Club, which placed him conveniently nearby to tackle this cache.

So after completing some shopping for Mrs Felix (emergency fan supplies at Target) it was off to the work callout then to tackle this cache.

Quick find at GZ as cache was exposed and absolutely no muggles about in the 41degrees. Covered the cache before leaving, and then heading to Joondalup Country Club for more emergency repairs (hmmm golf course greens don't seem to like 40+ degrees)

A quick find in the afternoon sun as nobody else was about. Even the local bus was having trouble in the heat as it pulled up at the nearby stop and then couldn't get going again.

Thanks for the cache.

Fairly quiet time of day and the light muggle traffic quickly came and went... except for the quy who was practicing the saxophone about 200 metres away and was looking pretty much straight at me. Thought he was going to be there for a while, so just brazenly took the cache. SL TFTC.

Found at 19.15 thought we were pretty quick! Beaten by miles though. Well done team astro. Met another cacher before we could return the cache. Thought I recognized kbinuk2005 from last weekend at Bungana 'n' kiln?

This is well and truly my home turf. When training for IM a few years back I'd run 7 laps of the 3.7km loop. Today I can only manage to walk 1 lap! Coincidently I was walking past almost exactly as the cache was published. Got home and read that the cache had been published. D'oh. Back down I went but 3 other groups had beaten me to it. Busy area tonight! Thanks for the cache Mista C.

Accompanied with TeamAstro - FTF for us... Nice park area with sunset - look beauty. Signed the log. Thanks Mista C for your first hide cache.
