Had about an hour free while the Mrs. had an appointment this morning in the area. this was the first on the list. Once I got a round tuit then "Filtered" through everything, completed the paper work. Sundays are quiet. TFTC

28-Oct-19
Just called into icebreaker on labour Monday closes 4pm 20 mins late. Quick pick up on our way home thanks

28-Sep-19
Out on our Saturday morning missions, Miss Three and I stopped by to hunt for this cache. Doesn't way to long at the wrong spot before widening the search and making the find. As others have noted, the lid has rusted of the container. Thanks!

17-Sep-19
Was not easy to find with all that jumping of gps. But finally found it.

15-Jul-19
Said hi to the pukehos and sparrows on the down. Thanks for the cache.

24-Feb-19
GPS all over the shop in my case. Happy didn`t take too long. Thanks for another one!

08-Dec-18
Not a nice place

29-Sep-18
Yup, to continue the recurring theme here... Furbies and I were out for a family brunch for our Sister-in-law's Birthday at "Black & Gold" (amazing coffee - definitely give it a try if you haven't already) when the little ones asked if we could go and find a geocache. Glyn pulls through a third time to provide the opportunity to do so, just outside Smile

This one gave us a good challenge, but after a thorough look of the area, and another thorough look, we finally found what we were looking for! Thanks for the hide, it was nice to show the young ones something a bit different.

16-Sep-18
Found it. TFTC

07-Jul-18
No clue. DNF

25-Feb-18
*reading logs* hmmm involves gorse.. lets flag that one for now... "ok" says Ayden4aSmile and then navigates us straight here... *sigh* oh well here now. The mozzies took more than the gorse and a nifty find well worth the blood loss. With Huntsman2015 having his own search.

The cache lid has come off completely and double bagging just helped to hold the water in more. I've dried off the log and resealed well in the slightly worn bags - didn't have any spares with me sorry!

25-Feb-18
Nice find on a Sunday afternoon. No muggles working next door so could have a good look around. No smell from the lake which was a relief

08-Jan-18
Was still quite tricky ; both the journey and cache which was virtually buried. Phew - glad to knock off

05-Nov-17
We got round to it today Smile. Having spent an hour at a jumping space nearby we decided to exercise some more by looking for all these caches near the poo pond, nice hide, the container is indeed rusty but the double bag does its job and we could write our name on the log, TFTC Smile

21-Oct-17
Found in amongst the overgrown grass and gorse. Cache was quite rusty and hard to open so did not sign.

24-Apr-17
We were at the swimming pool of the Millennium Institute of sport during the World Master Games of the last april. During pauses we decided to search some caches in the near surrounding. This one is the third and the last I searched here : Before leaving the Games I decided to have a wander there to intent to make a grab for this one.. An easy find, but a difficult log because of the damp logbook. Sory for this late log on the site. After the World games we made a round trip of New Zealand, and back home we had quite a lot of urgents things to manage !!! TFTC.

07-Dec-16
#223. Had come to Apollo Drive, hoping to knock off some of the caches in the area. Coordinates were spot on and the cache was found quickly by my son. Some oil had managed its way into the cache but the log was dry and signable. A novel hide, TFTC.

03-Dec-16
Visited today with merlot58, who was making a return visit. Well hidden and not so obvious, but cache was soaking wet. Luckily the log was double-bagged and still dry.

03-Dec-16
As I was in the area today picking up some of the CO's new caches I returned for another look. Not sure why I didn't see it last time, I must have had my blind glasses on. The cache was full of water but thankfully the log was double bagged so relatively dry. I emptied out the water best I could

26-Nov-16
On a good roll today, walked across through the forbidden park, crossed over the forbidden trunk and back up the hill. I've been here before but today this was a surprisingly quick to find. Can't believe I didn't find this last time.

22-Nov-16
Still here, all ok

18-Nov-16
I got a round tuit but couldn't find this round tuit, I will have to return for another look when I get around tuit

28-May-16
Decently quick find once the GPS stopped bouncing around. Cute camo Smile waterlogged but glad we were able to sign. TFTC

25-Apr-16
Logging after the fact - one of the best (and most gross) geocaches I've found - took a heck of a lot of searching to find with a friend, very clever! Log soaked right through, did our best to clear out current water. Tftc!

24-Feb-16
Easy find, really nice forest nearby.

14-Feb-16
After picking up a nearby cache for a challenge we were working on, yorkshirekiwi83 and I went into this hidden reserve to look for the 4 caches placed in here. This was first up and was quickly found at GZ, although the cache and camo were completely full of water - drained them out then re-hid. TFTC!

14-Feb-16
Vistra and I were in the area picking up a cache for a challenge, decided to grab a couple of others whilst we were here. Wandered down to GZ and quickly had our hands on the cache, it was a bit waterlogged so emptied and placed it back so hopefully it wouldnt fill again.

This was a really neat little spot with a really cool cache. The camo was very well done (added a fav point on that score alone). After a wander down the hill with the picturesque poo ponds nearby, I had the place to myself. It was a really quick find as soon as I hit GZ. TFTC!

26-Dec-15
Found whilst doing the caches round here on a fairly warm day. Thank goodness for the trees. TFTC.

20-Nov-15
I followed my GPSr to a lot of lovely places, but none had the cache. I looked and spotted something of interest and then the cache. It was situated such that rain collected in it. I had to dump out quite a bit of water. When I got to the log it was surprisingly dry. I still situated the cache so rain would no longer enter. TFTC.

11-Nov-15
Absolutely loved this one !
Quite different !!!! Great construction thanks .
I was totally searching in wrong place initially, but Ric widened search and got lucky !
Favourite.....!

11-Nov-15
Took a bit of a search but there it was. Great hide. Tftc.

10-Nov-15
Very warm morning with sun beating down and what does the GPS do, make us walk in circles. Thought we would never get around to (finding) it. Fortune favours the brave as we decided to veer off this path. Very quickly spotted the round 2it, signed log- which was dry, and replaced.TFTC

01-Nov-15
Muggle activity near GZ prevented me from even attempting to search for this on my previous visit to the area.

This time spent longer than I needed to at GZ. Unknowingly found the cache pretty much straight away, just didn't recognize it (the CO probably gets that a lot!). My GPS wouldn't settle, but I kept coming back to the big round 2it... eventually discovered the cache. Interesting camo. TFTC

27-Sep-15
Sneaked off from the nearby Waterpolo Pool for a cache grab or two between games. Nice & easy. Thanks

15-Aug-15
I see this cache has not recently been gotten round tuit. I got round tuit though, rather quickly I might add. Very cool cache I spied too!

15-May-15
Awesome cache found by my non caching mum after lunch nearby

01-Mar-15
Very quiet in the industrial area this Sunday morning and a lucky find for me. Also my second of this type. Great cammo - many thanks

02-Jan-15
This is the second round-to-it we've found today and I'm glad we got round to it today as it was a public holiday and no muggles to be seen. Quick find. TFTC

16-Dec-14
Really making an effort to improve the calendar, although tonight wasn't the greatest to be out and about. This one took a wee while to get our bearings, but once we did, a quick find it was. Great camo. SL. TFTC. Big Grin

5.20pm. Glad I did this one late on a Sunday afternoon when the business district was closed. Not so pleased I did it between showers and walked through the very wet very long grass from another nearby cache!! Saw the obvious about 5m from my take on GZ. Took some time to then delve into Glyn's mind and fathom where the cache was hidden. And yes it was very wet ( like me ). I replaced the plastic bag which had a hole in it. Dried log sheet as best I could. Left a signature pathtag.

This one took us longer than necessary. Located on a revisit to all likely spots. Great hide, though like others mentioned, cache quite wet. TFTC

13-Sep-14
Mr P had the pleasure of hiding another classic Glyn hide. Well done. t4tc

21-Jun-14
Very clever. Unfortunately cache was full of water. Might need an over night in a hot water cylinder.

17-May-14
Interesting camo... quick find once we cracked the riddle, TFTC.

10-May-14
After finding a random cache on a random path we carried on to this one and I figured out the hint just as we got to GZ.

I can quite comfortably say I've not seen this sort of camo utlilised before, but as usual it was done really well. TFTC

10-May-14
Coordinates took me to the middle of the grassy knoll. Looked in that direction and sighed, no it wouldn't be there. The other direction looked much more interesting. So wandered over there and soon had the cache in hand. Amazing camo, again. TFTC.

24-Apr-14
With the random path coming to an abrupt end I made my way over here over the wet grass. At GZ it was obvious where the cache would be and I sound had another unusual hide in hand. Cheers for the walk!

10-Mar-14
Good little walk down to the cache - not the type of hide I was expecting but maybe I should have expected that - it is a glyn hide after all!

23-Feb-14
Something a bit different going on here, we should be good for a while now with our to do lists as we have found 2 G-2 tuit caches this weekend TFTC.

20-Feb-14
Knowing who hid this, I was up for a challenge, but got lucky, went straight to it, and found the cache at GZ. Pity what's inside the water at the nearby spot, this would be a fantastic inner city sports/swimming location otherwise!! TFTC.

08-Feb-14
When the way became less mowed we returned for the car and drove here. Once having read this our interest was fired up. Mrs would not leave what she figured was GZ even though she couldn't make sense of "it" or why the gps said 8m. Then mr j returned from his circuitous following of compass pointer and bingo. Another LOL camo earning another fav. NINO TFTC

03-Feb-14
We'd pulled up here when the cache was published but missed the FTF by minutes, so decided to keep for another day. Trotted down to GZ and the gps was a bit out for us, but figured where it must be. Glyn, you are the master of disguise, always impressed by your creations!!

01-Feb-14
No problem finding the container, now where's the log.

TFTC

27-Jan-14
Finally got around to do this one.
I worked out where you found the cache cover from.

It was the last day that my grandson was staying with me and he wanted to do some more caching and, of course, I wasn't going to refuse that requestRazzWink. At the other Round Tuit cache (in Silverdale) where I needed help I was determined that that wouldn't happen here. Sure enought after a few minutes of both of us looking I soon had it in my hands. The cache container was full of water and so I was thankful for waterproof paper. Replaced the cache in a different orientation so hopefully the water might not ingress the container.

Cheers for the cache.

Cords out in the middle maybe, or is that the piggy?

Cool cache camo

11-Jan-14
Lets just say we got round to it eventually-nice camo-tftc

10-Jan-14
Found this one a few days ago but I forgot to log it. Nicely hidden cache too. Cool

08-Jan-14
Didn't need to get a 'Round Tuit' for this one as it was on my way to the gym (Jetts Albany).
GPS had me a wee way away from gz but I soon managed to spot the nicely camo'd cache. TFTC.

07-Jan-14
Parked once we had been around the round about to get a round 2it. Wandered along to GZ and passed a young lad about 15 who was hiding bottles of alcohol under his jumper, he obviously wasn't interested in what we were up to so made a nice quick find. TFTC

06-Jan-14
We came close to looking for this cache on the day of publication, but as we arrived at the closest parking Missfeez was just driving off, and called out that she had already found it. We turned around and headed off after other FTF opportunities, leaving this one for another day. Today was the day to get A Round 2it. And that certainly is a Big Round 2it in Apollo. Thanks.
